If there's one silver lining after the recent Optus and Medibank hacks here in AU, then it's the fact that orgs seem to finally be putting a focus onto their security from the top down. Today I had another great workshop with a new customer to assess their overall #cloudsecurity.

@3AWNeilMitchell scare mongering again on the @Optus data breach. Mitchell needs to be part of the solution and not the problem. Although it’s a nice reprieve from the constant @DanielAndrewsMP bashing.

  • pwilkins10 Paul 💉💉💉 (@pwilkins10) reported from Torquay, State of Victoria

At least if Leeds get relegated, I can cancel my Optus Sports subscription & watch the Championship on BeIn.

  • maxblake44 Max Blake (@maxblake44) reported from Geelong, State of Victoria

61K at Optus Stadium in Perth. No masks. **** you @DanielAndrewsMP 🖕. #AFLGF

  • H_the_Cats_Fan MsH (@H_the_Cats_Fan) reported from Geelong, State of Victoria

@kaine177 Optus oval was built closer to MCG dimensions … that would play a part, but yes if you think back, they didn’t play well in the hubs last year either. It’s a shame … No Gaff doesn’t help … and our weather is shite compared to over there. It’s proper winter footy.

  • cmalietoabrown Christian Malietoa-Brown (@cmalietoabrown) reported from Geelong, State of Victoria

Optus has to have the most **** signal coverage in the whole world

  • corymedia Cory (@corymedia) reported from Geelong, State of Victoria

If the .@Optus network wasn’t so bad and .@VodafoneAU wasn’t ridiculously panicked as to whether I can pay (because they made it clear they think I don’t make enough money), I’d be looking for a better network.

@WhirlpoolFooty @trevorlong Ok so i jumped on the Nvidia Shield (non pro). At first glance it did exactly the same thing as before. Sony Bravia TV definately does have frame rate refresh issues by default. Downloaded a refresh rate app to refresh rate match Optus sport app...and bingo...frame skip gone.

  • CRIPPStoniteSC Lincoln Beggs (@CRIPPStoniteSC) reported from Lara Lake, State of Victoria

@WhirlpoolFooty @trevorlong @kayosports Yeah I'm looking at other options. Very annoying as my net connection is fine and being Sony their motion handling is top notch. Nvidia Shield certainly looks like a great option. I had trouble with Kayo and now Optus Sport is buggy with its frame rate.

love @gilly381 but for Gilly to jump up and down and say MCG shouldnt have a guaranteed Boxing Day test in favour for his Optus Stadium in Perth yeah um Gilly half of all Kiwis live in WA for the mining jobs and yet you cant even fill up a day 1 1st test in a ANZAC clash #AUSvNZ

  • monicasmeow Monicasmeow🐈 (@monicasmeow) reported from Geelong, State of Victoria

@Optus Hi Aman, I appreciate that but I was told that before when I was promised multiple phone calls that never eventuated. Never mind the FTTN service we are getting drops out constantly and isn’t as reliable as the previous DSL service at my old address.

@DamoSC @Optus My service is restricted for not paying a bill... which I can't because I'm waiting on a new card.

  • ultimablackmage Jean-Paul Bartolomei (@ultimablackmage) reported

My @Optus 5G Home Broadband is still running super slow & dropping out a lot... & I still got a few more days of this sh*t! It shouldn't take 21 days to "upgrade" a tower & tank the service at the same time! How is Optus supposedly the 2nd best telco in Australia?!

  • evilfunkydude michael vincent (@evilfunkydude) reported

@Optus okay just when I thought you lot had finally settled the issues I’ve had,I find out that once again Optus has messed things up I’d like to file a complaint about everything that has happened

  • Enoon58124043 somekiwibird (@Enoon58124043) reported

@SOSIntel It was after seeing the Optus connection I contacted Pwnsec on TG via BF who wondered how I found him. Then I on WhatsApp discussed how rude he was with an Australian cybersecurity friend. Then next day he had changed his profile to, “I’m retired now. I’m here for the lulz only.”
