@WhirlpoolFooty @trevorlong @kayosports Yeah I'm looking at other options. Very annoying as my net connection is fine and being Sony their motion handling is top notch. Nvidia Shield certainly looks like a great option. I had trouble with Kayo and now Optus Sport is buggy with its frame rate.

love @gilly381 but for Gilly to jump up and down and say MCG shouldnt have a guaranteed Boxing Day test in favour for his Optus Stadium in Perth yeah um Gilly half of all Kiwis live in WA for the mining jobs and yet you cant even fill up a day 1 1st test in a ANZAC clash #AUSvNZ

@Optus Hi Aman, I appreciate that but I was told that before when I was promised multiple phone calls that never eventuated. Never mind the FTTN service we are getting drops out constantly and isn’t as reliable as the previous DSL service at my old address.

  • corymedia Cory (@corymedia) reported from Geelong, State of Victoria

If the .@Optus network wasn’t so bad and .@VodafoneAU wasn’t ridiculously panicked as to whether I can pay (because they made it clear they think I don’t make enough money), I’d be looking for a better network.

  • CRIPPStoniteSC Lincoln Beggs (@CRIPPStoniteSC) reported from Lara Lake, State of Victoria

@WhirlpoolFooty @trevorlong Ok so i jumped on the Nvidia Shield (non pro). At first glance it did exactly the same thing as before. Sony Bravia TV definately does have frame rate refresh issues by default. Downloaded a refresh rate app to refresh rate match Optus sport app...and bingo...frame skip gone.

  • mgreen27 Matthew Green 🌻 (@mgreen27) reported

@Optus I just tried to switch my out of contract phone plan and was very discouraged to see I needed 100+points of ID as a verified customer sent in. No real answers on data policy when I questioned this. When you have a history of loose data - WTF? Time to find a new provider...

  • Matt_Tulk Matt_Tulk (@Matt_Tulk) reported

@LusciousLani @Optus Yeah you should be able to get out easy and like I do not like Telstra but I never call Boost I have a pre paid yearly plan and I just use it and get on with life.

  • SydneyBluenose Dr Zlatan Karatić .\ (@SydneyBluenose) reported

@tincairns The problem with Optus Stadium is that it's in the largest metropolis in this or any other universe and is too difficult to get to.

  • jonorow Jonathan Row (@jonorow) reported

I try and live my life without hate in my heart but I hate @Optus with a burning rage. Worst customer service experiences I’ve had anywhere. Once I resolve this billing issue I’m switching to Vodafone.

  • massimogarbuio Massimo Garbuio (@massimogarbuio) reported

@Westpac Thank you. The further joke is that you then send an email saying you have used a third party service. Really? So now more companies have all this information. Have you heard about Medibank? And Optus?

  • LusciousLani Ms Banani (@LusciousLani) reported

So we’re two hours in, we have three embarrassed but pretty much powerless to help consultants, news that 1-2 business days now means 5-10 because they can’t get through the workload, & I informed Edna of my theory that in-store Optus employees all have a country kid aesthetic, &

  • LusciousLani Ms Banani (@LusciousLani) reported

@Matt_Tulk @Optus I have Superloop as well, no issues yet. If I can get out of this contract I’ll check boots out, but I am morally opposed to Telstra for pretty obvious reasons lol

  • ahleach Anthony Leach (@ahleach) reported

@ten_apples For whatever reason it's never Optus Stadium for cricket

  • OlBuds Lower Middle Bogan (@OlBuds) reported

@jenpryor1 One thing I did was to ditch the NBN router that Optus supplied when we switched to the NBN, it was a Sagemcon router and they're a piece of junk. So that could be part of your problem, if you know anyone fairly tech savvy it's a simple matter to replace it with something better.

  • OlBuds Lower Middle Bogan (@OlBuds) reported

@jenpryor1 No problem, check the model of the router first but if it's Sagemcom then it's standard Optus issue and they really are rubbish. You'll pick up a reasonable Netgear router for under $150, faster, far fewer drop outs and better WiFi range.
