@Optus Hi Aman, I appreciate that but I was told that before when I was promised multiple phone calls that never eventuated. Never mind the FTTN service we are getting drops out constantly and isn’t as reliable as the previous DSL service at my old address.

@Coffeedaveoz @MorpheusBeing @strangerous10 Because we can’t get Telstra coverage on farm. Even Optus is patchy. Telstra billing is also useless and they treat customers including businesses like 💩

I used to have Optus internet service at my previous address. On Tue I received a spam call asking if I was the owner of the property. Info obtained from Optus cyber attack?

@Optus What's nonsense. A text from you would have been the quickest way. Sorry, just because I am a customer of yours, doesn't mean I am an idiot. Or should I say soon to be ex customer

@Optus @RunnerSA18 You won't be aware when customers suffer harm you ******* idiots, maybe if you learned about what cyber security actually means you might have given more of a **** in the first place.

Given that Optus failed to notify us about scheduled network maintenance for years because they were trying to send SMSs to our landline, I’m not exactly surprised that they’re screwing up the data breach comms too.

@Optus Yes I get that but it does state on your FAQ's regarding the situation to call and that's the issue - you can't which is absolutely poor performance. Can you confirm when contact will occur as in how many days or weeks till I potentially find out being a former customer?

I'm leaving Optus. Being hacked is unfortunate yet not unlikely. But for a comms company they are absolutely terrible at comms. The website barely works, the customer service is crippled by a chat system that is completely broken and now no notification about severe data loss.
