@Optus Hi Aman, I appreciate that but I was told that before when I was promised multiple phone calls that never eventuated. Never mind the FTTN service we are getting drops out constantly and isn’t as reliable as the previous DSL service at my old address.

@maudenificent My wife uses Aldi mobile. Really cheap and uses the vast Telstra network so coverage is good. Better reception than Optus here on Gumbaynggirr lands.

@Optus I have been having issues activating my service for the last 48 hours. I was advised that it will be resolved yesterday and it still isn’t. Live Chat was not helpful. Going into the store was worse. Phone support on hold forever!

So was supposed to get a callback from @Optus yesterday re the issues. Didn’t happen. They’re supposed to call between 4-7pm today. I’m doubtful it’ll happen. But of course I’m putting off the chores that need doing so that I don’t miss the call. For the second day…

I’m stuck thinking about my mobile carrier, so I stay with an Optus MVNO or go to a Telstra ‘full service’ MVNO. It’s complicated. There’s $10 a month in it between the two companies.

Give Plan ID, you're ready to purchase, but get series of questions not matching plan details. So phone down, in utter exasperation, but with no obvious place to purchase online either, so do customers just give up? @Optus

Stephen Hope (@shoppe52) reported
@abcnews you might want to ask Optus what caused many of it’s mobile broadband customers to receive SMS’s yesterday advising they had received a request to put their service ‘on hold’. Had mine turned off but hadn’t requested it. They restored it after I contacted them but WTAF?

@Optus I’m not calling. I’m that angry about my phone being disconnected. My postcode is 3154 and there is no fault reported on the website but I cannot send or receive texts on the prepaid service that I had to buy because you guys disconnected my phone!

@_chelseabun i think its got to do with the hard surface at optus and lathlain oval, combined with poor strength and conditioning work.
