@WhirlpoolFooty @trevorlong @kayosports Yeah I'm looking at other options. Very annoying as my net connection is fine and being Sony their motion handling is top notch. Nvidia Shield certainly looks like a great option. I had trouble with Kayo and now Optus Sport is buggy with its frame rate.

  • monicasmeow Monicasmeow🐈 (@monicasmeow) reported from Geelong, State of Victoria

@Optus Hi Aman, I appreciate that but I was told that before when I was promised multiple phone calls that never eventuated. Never mind the FTTN service we are getting drops out constantly and isn’t as reliable as the previous DSL service at my old address.

  • camo2572 💧Darren Camilleri (@camo2572) reported from Geelong, State of Victoria

love @gilly381 but for Gilly to jump up and down and say MCG shouldnt have a guaranteed Boxing Day test in favour for his Optus Stadium in Perth yeah um Gilly half of all Kiwis live in WA for the mining jobs and yet you cant even fill up a day 1 1st test in a ANZAC clash #AUSvNZ

  • CRIPPStoniteSC Lincoln Beggs (@CRIPPStoniteSC) reported from Lara Lake, State of Victoria

@WhirlpoolFooty @trevorlong Ok so i jumped on the Nvidia Shield (non pro). At first glance it did exactly the same thing as before. Sony Bravia TV definately does have frame rate refresh issues by default. Downloaded a refresh rate app to refresh rate match Optus sport app...and bingo...frame skip gone.

Optus will be in damage control right now I bet. Not great PR!

  • loz_obi Laurie Joyce (@loz_obi) reported

@NewtonMark @acmadotgov @Optus I get you need the 100 points of proof to open the account. But sighting it and storing it are two very different things. I guess we’ll find out what the OAIC expectations are when the investigation findings are handed down.

  • ChequesNBalance cheques 'n balances (@ChequesNBalance) reported

Why is it over a week since customer data has been in the hands of cybercriminals do we still not have a solution to replace passports at Optus expense. Ludicrous. Do the right thing by your customers, Optus. Or expect less in the future #OptusHack #OptusDataBreach #Optus

  • Mikenicholls88 Mike Nicholls (@Mikenicholls88) reported

@jayfeltulabing Telstra, probably most expensive but best mobile coverage & performance IMO - Wife is with Optus and has poor coverage often inc home, I never seem to have an issue except in one dodgy area between Parklea & Pennant Hills

  • MeckeringBoy Michael Dowling #ClimateActionNow (@MeckeringBoy) reported from Westfield, State of Western Australia

@ObeeWhen @GrrrumpyPants There was a queue of people with similar hack issues. I don’t know how much business Optus is doing these days. I walked out in disgust.

  • DavidKn86972102 David Knowles (@DavidKn86972102) reported

@joshgnosis Is Australia really at the arse end of the Infosec regulation spectrum? Right now, it seems Optus have broken no industry regulation, or law for : The breach itself, the subsequent handling and communication to both the industry and customers, the storage of multiple 1/2

  • jnorthoz Joe King (@jnorthoz) reported

@dailytelegraph Optus should not only pay for document replacement, it should pay compensation to every affected customer and be heavily fined!

  • JamesJools1 👑 SPRINT KING 👑 (@JamesJools1) reported

Having deception fraud happen to myself, I love how the government just blames Optus for the privacy breach rather than resolving the issue at hand. Yes they stuffed up,but shouldn’t you be more concerned about rectifying how easy it is to obtain the finance from it . #OptusHack

  • Geoff_Beggs Geoff Beggs (@Geoff_Beggs) reported

Ten hours since I asked a question on the @Optus messaging app. No answer. I guess they have now entered phase of being overwhelmed, staff are tired, new staff are hard to bring online, policy questions are mounting up, and the sheer volume of customer contacts is overwhelming.

  • Markinshire Brads (@Markinshire) reported

How’s this for customer service…I messaged Optus live chat (because you can never get through on the phone) yesterday at 9am to try and find a resolution to a reception issue I have had for weeks. 33 hours later I’m still on the chat and no nearer the issue being solved @Optus
