  If the .@Optus network wasn’t so bad and .@VodafoneAU wasn’t ridiculously panicked as to whether I can pay (because they made it clear they think I don’t make enough money), I’d be looking for a better network.

  love @gilly381 but for Gilly to jump up and down and say MCG shouldnt have a guaranteed Boxing Day test in favour for his Optus Stadium in Perth yeah um Gilly half of all Kiwis live in WA for the mining jobs and yet you cant even fill up a day 1 1st test in a ANZAC clash #AUSvNZ

  @WhirlpoolFooty @trevorlong @kayosports Yeah I'm looking at other options. Very annoying as my net connection is fine and being Sony their motion handling is top notch. Nvidia Shield certainly looks like a great option. I had trouble with Kayo and now Optus Sport is buggy with its frame rate.

  @kaine177 Optus oval was built closer to MCG dimensions … that would play a part, but yes if you think back, they didn’t play well in the hubs last year either. It’s a shame … No Gaff doesn’t help … and our weather is shite compared to over there. It’s proper winter footy.

  @WhirlpoolFooty @trevorlong Ok so i jumped on the Nvidia Shield (non pro). At first glance it did exactly the same thing as before. Sony Bravia TV definately does have frame rate refresh issues by default. Downloaded a refresh rate app to refresh rate match Optus sport app...and bingo...frame skip gone.

  @Optus Hi Aman, I appreciate that but I was told that before when I was promised multiple phone calls that never eventuated. Never mind the FTTN service we are getting drops out constantly and isn’t as reliable as the previous DSL service at my old address.

  What internet providers do you guys recommend?? We currently have Optus but it's gotten so bad lately that the wifi drops every 5-10 minutes, sometimes worse. The technician said it's because we've got too many devices, but it only started happening in November, so that's bs

  @colourmeamused_ I have a particularly nasty aversion to this **** because when I worked in an Optus call centre, you'd get a certain kind of snooty **** head who'd insist you refer to them as 'Dr.' to try and put you - a lowly service worker - in your place.

  @Optus so yesterday I phone you in the Philippines querying a well over sized bill 1000% in fact and you cut me off the next day on a totally different account...does your left hand know what the right one is doing...I’d suggest not...been on hold for 15 mins. Awful service 👎

  @Optus frequent hfc NBN outages. Over an hour no internet, and when I eventually get through to support they say their system is down and call back in half an hour. Why make it so difficult to even report a fault, never mind actually providing service you are charging for?

  Disappointed @Optus I used to rave about the home internet. Moved address, 1 month to set up, $500 per week on **** dongle data. Only option is pay for yet another product to expensively survive.Won’t just send me the NBN box but insisting on a technician when I don’t need one!

  @Telstra I first told @Telstra about this than 20+ years ago. Was told you’re aware of the black spot – I live a suburb of Melb, nothing remote! – and was told the solution was to pay $1500 for a booster in our roof to get a signal. Probably go back to Optus. No black spot with them.
