@WhirlpoolFooty @trevorlong Ok so i jumped on the Nvidia Shield (non pro). At first glance it did exactly the same thing as before. Sony Bravia TV definately does have frame rate refresh issues by default. Downloaded a refresh rate app to refresh rate match Optus sport app...and bingo...frame skip gone.

love @gilly381 but for Gilly to jump up and down and say MCG shouldnt have a guaranteed Boxing Day test in favour for his Optus Stadium in Perth yeah um Gilly half of all Kiwis live in WA for the mining jobs and yet you cant even fill up a day 1 1st test in a ANZAC clash #AUSvNZ

  • cmplus_info Cory (@cmplus_info) reported from Geelong, State of Victoria

@3AWNeilMitchell scare mongering again on the @Optus data breach. Mitchell needs to be part of the solution and not the problem. Although it’s a nice reprieve from the constant @DanielAndrewsMP bashing.

  • H_the_Cats_Fan MsH (@H_the_Cats_Fan) reported from Geelong, State of Victoria

@kaine177 Optus oval was built closer to MCG dimensions … that would play a part, but yes if you think back, they didn’t play well in the hubs last year either. It’s a shame … No Gaff doesn’t help … and our weather is shite compared to over there. It’s proper winter footy.

@Optus Hi Aman, I appreciate that but I was told that before when I was promised multiple phone calls that never eventuated. Never mind the FTTN service we are getting drops out constantly and isn’t as reliable as the previous DSL service at my old address.

  • CRIPPStoniteSC Lincoln Beggs (@CRIPPStoniteSC) reported from Lara Lake, State of Victoria

@WhirlpoolFooty @trevorlong @kayosports Yeah I'm looking at other options. Very annoying as my net connection is fine and being Sony their motion handling is top notch. Nvidia Shield certainly looks like a great option. I had trouble with Kayo and now Optus Sport is buggy with its frame rate.

  • corymedia Cory (@corymedia) reported from Geelong, State of Victoria

If the .@Optus network wasn’t so bad and .@VodafoneAU wasn’t ridiculously panicked as to whether I can pay (because they made it clear they think I don’t make enough money), I’d be looking for a better network.

  • cmalietoabrown Christian Malietoa-Brown (@cmalietoabrown) reported from Geelong, State of Victoria

@IanMcMi38908747 @AlboMP What do you suggest, a new publicly owned telco perhaps? Talk to Telstra, Optus and co. They are the ones who can fix the problem.

  • James57498470 James (@James57498470) reported

@SWF_946 @ServiceNSW @Optus They didn't have this for all customer's though. Many but not all. For prepaid I just had to enter in the license number/name/dob when I signed up, no scanning or anything.

  • cloud_counter Dr Mick Pope, PhD (he/him) 💉💉💉 (@cloud_counter) reported

Imagine being an Optus AND Medibank customer about now...

  • Charmainemay_ (@Charmainemay_) reported

  • RonShamgar Ron Shamgar (@RonShamgar) reported

@medibank $MPL cyber hack is probably the worst Australia has seen and way more serious than @Optus What a disaster and goes to show how these super profitable companies don’t spend much on cyber security as they should!

  • Punter1013 Punter101 (@Punter1013) reported

@DHurburgh @MrKRudd @NBN_Australia That’s the main problem… NBN is too expensive for what you get… my Optus cable was better and cheaper

  • PeterRobins350 PeterRobins350 (@PeterRobins350) reported

@SPWagin Boom!!! People at the flash energy reliant Optus Stadium (oops mentioned a fossil fuel reliant company) actually sit on... PLASTIC SEATS made from petrochemical products. I thought to peak stupid when WAPol banned the potatoe gun that shot T-Shirts into the crowd cos firearm

  • CapybaraHappy 🎃 Spooky Capybara (@CapybaraHappy) reported

@JoshButler Imagine being an Optus/Medibank customer!

  • DoodyDarren Darren (@DoodyDarren) reported

@bollgare @BurkeHellibee @AlboMP You likely have access to the NBN. It may just be the poor connection types like fixed wireless or satellite. I wouldn't blame you for not wanting either. Starlink may be available to you. As for mobile, talk to Telstra, Optus, Vodafone, etc. Nothing to do with the NBN.

  • VikTechGeek Vik (@VikTechGeek) reported

@ClareONeilMP FFS, none of them can protect customer data that has already been stolen...BoM hacked in 2015...Australia still clueless about which "foreign power" did that...Optus and Medibank getting caught out when there has been plenty of warnings over the last decade.
