@WhirlpoolFooty @trevorlong @kayosports Yeah I'm looking at other options. Very annoying as my net connection is fine and being Sony their motion handling is top notch. Nvidia Shield certainly looks like a great option. I had trouble with Kayo and now Optus Sport is buggy with its frame rate.

  • camo2572 💧Darren Camilleri (@camo2572) reported from Geelong, State of Victoria

love @gilly381 but for Gilly to jump up and down and say MCG shouldnt have a guaranteed Boxing Day test in favour for his Optus Stadium in Perth yeah um Gilly half of all Kiwis live in WA for the mining jobs and yet you cant even fill up a day 1 1st test in a ANZAC clash #AUSvNZ

If there's one silver lining after the recent Optus and Medibank hacks here in AU, then it's the fact that orgs seem to finally be putting a focus onto their security from the top down. Today I had another great workshop with a new customer to assess their overall #cloudsecurity.

  • corymedia Cory (@corymedia) reported from Geelong, State of Victoria

If the .@Optus network wasn’t so bad and .@VodafoneAU wasn’t ridiculously panicked as to whether I can pay (because they made it clear they think I don’t make enough money), I’d be looking for a better network.

  • CRIPPStoniteSC Lincoln Beggs (@CRIPPStoniteSC) reported from Lara Lake, State of Victoria

@WhirlpoolFooty @trevorlong Ok so i jumped on the Nvidia Shield (non pro). At first glance it did exactly the same thing as before. Sony Bravia TV definately does have frame rate refresh issues by default. Downloaded a refresh rate app to refresh rate match Optus sport app...and bingo...frame skip gone.

  • mr_calabria tino mamone (@mr_calabria) reported from Geelong, State of Victoria

@HITCSevens It’s nearly 9am Alfie I’ve got lipzig x Liverpool on Optus sports and listening to @paul_winginit on stereo ... you gonna go on sterio and talk football on it lad .... I watched ya video last night :) I’m over lock down we been in lock down 3 now lad ... only been to one game ;(

  • monicasmeow Monicasmeow🐈 (@monicasmeow) reported from Geelong, State of Victoria

@Optus Hi Aman, I appreciate that but I was told that before when I was promised multiple phone calls that never eventuated. Never mind the FTTN service we are getting drops out constantly and isn’t as reliable as the previous DSL service at my old address.

  • cmalietoabrown Christian Malietoa-Brown (@cmalietoabrown) reported from Geelong, State of Victoria

Optus has to have the most **** signal coverage in the whole world

  • cmplus_info Cory (@cmplus_info) reported from Geelong, State of Victoria

@3AWNeilMitchell scare mongering again on the @Optus data breach. Mitchell needs to be part of the solution and not the problem. Although it’s a nice reprieve from the constant @DanielAndrewsMP bashing.

  • maxblake44 Max Blake (@maxblake44) reported from Geelong, State of Victoria

61K at Optus Stadium in Perth. No masks. **** you @DanielAndrewsMP 🖕. #AFLGF

  • H_the_Cats_Fan MsH (@H_the_Cats_Fan) reported from Geelong, State of Victoria

@kaine177 Optus oval was built closer to MCG dimensions … that would play a part, but yes if you think back, they didn’t play well in the hubs last year either. It’s a shame … No Gaff doesn’t help … and our weather is shite compared to over there. It’s proper winter footy.

  • coder_bec coder_bec (@coder_bec) reported

Wouldn't you be spewing if you were one of the cats spamming the ever-living crap out of every Australian mobile number with fake shipping links and such to try and phish us, when Optus was just serving up PII like that? I'd be so pissed, never getting the time wasted back

  • gippy_mike Mike (@gippy_mike) reported

@VicRoads @heidimur @VicGovDoT There is no ******* patience. We are all at risk of losing everything because Victoads refuses to allow us to change our licence details. We all know what happened. No need to “work with Optus” to figure this out. ******* pubic service twaddle at its worst.

  • Quidam9872 🔥💧Mary Drury (@Quidam9872) reported

@ClareONeilMP is it correct that Optus customer information wasn’t encrypted? Shouldn’t this be a basic protection for not just all telcos but for every company?

  • jsleeio jsleeio (@jsleeio) reported

@GpbartlettP @ClareONeilMP Nope. ALP supported the 2015 data retention legislation (why?) and have done nothing about the problem in the following 7 years Optus should carry some of it, but definitely not all

  • mariusmainridg1 Marius (@mariusmainridg1) reported

@CaraMia200 I think Optus should pay what it takes to sort this out, hand balling it back to the customer saying the customer needs to keep an eye on their accounts etc is nonsense, in business you do you job properly or pay for your mistakes, Gladys is 2IC it’s got LNP stench about it

  • R3iGns42 Harley (@R3iGns42) reported

Optus allow us to cancel our plans with your company without any fee. So we can move to a different company. No one feels safe with your company, why should we pay the full price to leave when you leaked our ****

  • ShiannonC ShiannonCorcoran💉💉💉💉 (@ShiannonC) reported

Karen Andrews: "Labor is laying the blame at the feet of optus" "A lacklustre response..It's been a few days since this breach has been discovered". The opposition bungled telecommunications for 9 yrs.. Now they think Labor should hop to it & 'fix' Optus up right away

  • 48smijas Jason Smith (@48smijas) reported

@Optus In order for victims to protect themselves from your lack of security. They need to change their licence and passport numbers. To do this you need to provide the police incident number and or the cyber report receipt ASAP. I am one of those millions affected

  • tylrdavid #RepublicNow (@tylrdavid) reported

@ClareONeilMP It is Optus’ responsibility, yes, but they have seriously compromised the integrity of Australia’s identification system to a point that they can’t fix. Optus needs to be fined, and the proceeds used to generate new ID docs for those affected.

  • earllequin Earllequin (@earllequin) reported

@AnthonyLucas30 @Optus That’s a stop gap solution for just 12 months though. I think Optus should do the right thing here and compensate us for obtaining new passports and licenses. It’ll give us much better peace of mind to have ID docs with new numbers and dates.
