  • corymedia Cory (@corymedia) reported from Geelong, State of Victoria

If the .@Optus network wasn’t so bad and .@VodafoneAU wasn’t ridiculously panicked as to whether I can pay (because they made it clear they think I don’t make enough money), I’d be looking for a better network.

  • cmalietoabrown Christian Malietoa-Brown (@cmalietoabrown) reported from Geelong, State of Victoria

Optus has to have the most **** signal coverage in the whole world

  • CRIPPStoniteSC Lincoln Beggs (@CRIPPStoniteSC) reported from Lara Lake, State of Victoria

@WhirlpoolFooty @trevorlong Ok so i jumped on the Nvidia Shield (non pro). At first glance it did exactly the same thing as before. Sony Bravia TV definately does have frame rate refresh issues by default. Downloaded a refresh rate app to refresh rate match Optus sport app...and bingo...frame skip gone.

  • mr_calabria tino mamone (@mr_calabria) reported from Geelong, State of Victoria

@HITCSevens It’s nearly 9am Alfie I’ve got lipzig x Liverpool on Optus sports and listening to @paul_winginit on stereo ... you gonna go on sterio and talk football on it lad .... I watched ya video last night :) I’m over lock down we been in lock down 3 now lad ... only been to one game ;(

  • monicasmeow Monicasmeow🐈 (@monicasmeow) reported from Geelong, State of Victoria

@Optus Hi Aman, I appreciate that but I was told that before when I was promised multiple phone calls that never eventuated. Never mind the FTTN service we are getting drops out constantly and isn’t as reliable as the previous DSL service at my old address.

  • CRIPPStoniteSC Lincoln Beggs (@CRIPPStoniteSC) reported from Lara Lake, State of Victoria

@WhirlpoolFooty @trevorlong @kayosports Yeah I'm looking at other options. Very annoying as my net connection is fine and being Sony their motion handling is top notch. Nvidia Shield certainly looks like a great option. I had trouble with Kayo and now Optus Sport is buggy with its frame rate.

  • camo2572 💧Darren Camilleri (@camo2572) reported from Geelong, State of Victoria

love @gilly381 but for Gilly to jump up and down and say MCG shouldnt have a guaranteed Boxing Day test in favour for his Optus Stadium in Perth yeah um Gilly half of all Kiwis live in WA for the mining jobs and yet you cant even fill up a day 1 1st test in a ANZAC clash #AUSvNZ

  • H_the_Cats_Fan MsH (@H_the_Cats_Fan) reported from Geelong, State of Victoria

@kaine177 Optus oval was built closer to MCG dimensions … that would play a part, but yes if you think back, they didn’t play well in the hubs last year either. It’s a shame … No Gaff doesn’t help … and our weather is shite compared to over there. It’s proper winter footy.

  • maxblake44 Max Blake (@maxblake44) reported from Geelong, State of Victoria

61K at Optus Stadium in Perth. No masks. **** you @DanielAndrewsMP 🖕. #AFLGF

  • cmplus_info Cory (@cmplus_info) reported from Geelong, State of Victoria

@3AWNeilMitchell scare mongering again on the @Optus data breach. Mitchell needs to be part of the solution and not the problem. Although it’s a nice reprieve from the constant @DanielAndrewsMP bashing.

Optus Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • patashforth Patrick Ashforth (@patashforth) reported

Optus's message to everyone about license v card number is bizarre. Lots of people now thinking that was the only thing that was released. It also reads as though the license number isn't the part that matters? How is their handling of this still so, so bad?

  • lawyermkhan Mohammad Khan (@lawyermkhan) reported

I am a former optus customer. @Optus Recieved an email saying they will pay for my replacement card BUT it will only be credited to my bill. WHAT BILL? Stop continuing your scams and make it easy for people. #OptusDataBreach #Optus

  • Doge_7734 Saxon (@Doge_7734) reported

@lizinhas9000 @signalapp Nah, I’ll stay. We need people to fight for privacy. I’ll just get iMessage and SMS (so, Android to iPhone) users to convert to Signal. Surely something good will come out of the Optus hack. Something to improve privacy, hopefully.

  • kts350 🇦🇺 Wayno 🌻 🇺🇦 (@kts350) reported

@Mark_Young05 @Julxxx0 Just read that they changed the law nsw so to do any credit checks they need your licence number and card number. Service says that we can only change our licence if optus said that both licence and card number was given out and it takes weeks to do.

  • AndyLSemple Andy Semple (@AndyLSemple) reported

@zozzer1966 I'm not an Optus customer but if I was I'd leave them in a heart beat for their hack of user data

  • browndogstales Jake Brown (@browndogstales) reported

@DrShaneRRR @SharnelleVella @DrDStojanovski I can't remember the last time I was an Optus customer (at least 10 years) but have been notified of impact. Shocking data policy. Absolutely no need for them to keep identity verification materials for past customers.

  • kimmipt2 Kimmipt2 (@kimmipt2) reported

@SkyNewsAust Where we are and yes our info was affected. Both Optus and Telstra are frankly, ****. We are in a decent size central west NSW town. But speeds and signal are garbage. All we got from Optus was 1 email, ohh opps. Then silence. Not good enough is an understatment.

  • amazingali9 amazingali (@amazingali9) reported

@egirrrlie @slsandpet I had an optus mobile phone account until I cancelled it when I went overseas in 2011. I returned in 2013 and got a telstra mobile phone. In Feb 2021 I found out I had a bad credit report from Optus. Someone had gotten a mobile phone in my name, using my ID … 1

  • HeReTTiK Just_BeL (@HeReTTiK) reported

@9NewsAUS I got one too I never win a prize but I always get picked for the bad stuff #Robodebt #telstra breeches my privacy for 8 months and did nothing now #optus lucky me !!

  • cfreezle CHANEL (@cfreezle) reported

Tell me why ******** Optus decided to spend money on advertising that they’re sorry for the data breach, when they could’ve compensated everyone impacted…
