Julian π¦πΊ (@JKRLMazur) reported from Cessnock, New South Wales@Telstra Yep. Unfortunately Iβm so disgusted with the way Iβve been treated as a customer will see me head to @optus Telstra high prices dont reflect the service you receive from staff when there is a problem. Itβs disgraceful. By far the worst telco I have dealt with, ever.
-
Mat and Kita Clarke (@KitaandMat) reported from Maitland, New South Wales@OeterB @Fozbyte That's what I did! I'm an optus customer so it's included in my plan.
-
@carlagrossetti (@carlagrossetti) reported from Maitland, New South Wales@Optus Thanks Nard. What causes an outage that only affects webmail?
-
π¦πΊJulian π¦πΊ (@JKRLMazur) reported from Cessnock, New South Wales@recneps51 @Optus @NSW_FairTrading I bpay to telstra also, I know they charge me for a paper bill, which I request but never receive, but I donβt know about the other bit. Iβd never allow direct debit, especially Optus, I used to ring them every other month about issues.

π¦πΊJulian π¦πΊ (@JKRLMazur) reported from Cessnock, New South Wales@Telstra 2hrs this morning wasted with your member chat trying to take out a new contract, long term customer counts for nothing, go on Optus site and as a nobody I got a better deal straight off.

π«πππππ πΊππππ π΄πππππππ π¦πΊ (@DanielSMatthews) reported@eevblog I have both, NBN service stability is far less than Starlink's, so it is my backup. I could probably push traffic through both, did that with Telstra and Optus cable modems back in the day, but Starlink is so fast I haven't needed to bother.
-
Jeff Murray (@GeminiJ13) reported@eevblog Maybe Optus doesn't want you to leave and stop paying them, even if they are related to the network? I can only assume here that Dodo is less expensive than Optus, and that is the reason for you wanting to migrate.
-
Anssi Tal (@AnssiTal) reported@optus you don't allow me to cancel my mobile number and are forcing me to keep paying. I want to cancel, how can I do that? I left Australia last year. Your customer service agents say that to cancel I need to return to Australia and physically present at an Optus store.
-
lucas (@lukyydukes) reportedOf course the bad weather finally hits Perth when the Eagles have a run of Optus Stadium games.
-
Mike (@stocksworldbull) reported@TeamYouTube I have spent an hour on the link you provided but it is not helping. My third-party provider (Optus) shows active until May 2026, but my YouTube app is stuck showing an expired date from October 2025. All i want is Help to refresh my youtube account's sync with Optus.
-
AL (@asewell6) reported@Optus you are most annoyingly difficult business to deal with. 15 years a customer and being treated like joke comedy routine for two days to change an internet plan. Then they ring you after work while driving saying can read the code back from the app.
-
JoshAtticus (@joshatticus) reported@itsiclassic Waaaaaay harder, my Galaxy S21+ died after I tried replacing the battery myself, and my carrier Optus made it hell to replace my eSIM, I had to wait in a store for 2 hours, and the store couldn't even do anything so they just let me borrow their store phone to call support π
-
Nick (@_nicks_tweets) reported@optus_help @Optus Iβm trying to give you more of my money for a eSIM, however your app is horrific. My other service is a eSIM on my iPad so I canβt get a text. So I change to email, fine but then I canβt enter the code. Seriously?? Do you not want my money??
-
jo.sh (@rude_judas) reported@robb_j_m $100 a month for FTTN. @Optus is so ****
-
Tom Smit, 57, of Tasmania (@PolAnimalAus) reported@Optus NOT happy about the $% increase to my wirelss internet. It is only barely acceptable in terms of speed and reliability, the fuss about replacing a defective USB cable etc. Improve service then raise prices! NOT HAPPY!
