    @Telstra 2hrs this morning wasted with your member chat trying to take out a new contract, long term customer counts for nothing, go on Optus site and as a nobody I got a better deal straight off.

    @Telstra Yep. Unfortunately I’m so disgusted with the way I’ve been treated as a customer will see me head to @optus Telstra high prices dont reflect the service you receive from staff when there is a problem. It’s disgraceful. By far the worst telco I have dealt with, ever.

    @recneps51 @Optus @NSW_FairTrading I bpay to telstra also, I know they charge me for a paper bill, which I request but never receive, but I don’t know about the other bit. I’d never allow direct debit, especially Optus, I used to ring them every other month about issues.

    I read an article suggesting that @Starlink could come to Australia as a phone service. Oh, I hope it's real. Telstra utterly sucks, has massive blackspots everywhere, is ludicrously expensive, and has terrible customer service. Optus & Vodafone are worse. We need competition.

    @heidimur This isn’t just about Telstra. We saw similar issues with Optus. If our emergency communications and critical infrastructure are meant to be resilient, why do single network outages continue to have such widespread impacts? It’s time to review whether our redundancy is truly independent, or whether we’re relying on backups that share the same points of failure.

    @Michael83424242 This started under the LNP are you senile, stupid or deliberately been disingenuous? Communications outages & breaches occurred under the tenure of Paul Fletcher, who served as Minister- 2019 to 2022. The 2022 Data Breach: In Sept, Optus suffered a massive cyber-attack!

    @GenVavancee Given the time the outage happened it probably was some form of maintenance and a routing error happened. They happen all the time but much like Optus this was a big one.

    @Telstra Telstra Doncaster failed and refused to help, I'll be lodging a complaint with the ombudsman in due course, duly note the outcome, you lost two decades long people to Optus, who were terrific in help.

    @VoteLewko @Starlink And look who is confusing satellite internet with mobile phone services. Starlink is looking at reselling Optus mobile coverage as Starlink. Not using satellite phone service. It’s written in the article.

    @jlandsme_93 The media in WA refuse to press Optus management over it. The drainage system there has issues all the time. The soil develops a slippery biofilm on it due to the **** drainage system
