  @Telstra Yep. Unfortunately I’m so disgusted with the way I’ve been treated as a customer will see me head to @optus Telstra high prices dont reflect the service you receive from staff when there is a problem. It’s disgraceful. By far the worst telco I have dealt with, ever.

  @Telstra 2hrs this morning wasted with your member chat trying to take out a new contract, long term customer counts for nothing, go on Optus site and as a nobody I got a better deal straight off.

  @recneps51 @Optus @NSW_FairTrading I bpay to telstra also, I know they charge me for a paper bill, which I request but never receive, but I don’t know about the other bit. I’d never allow direct debit, especially Optus, I used to ring them every other month about issues.

  @Zaica71 Hi there, as mentioned by my colleague, this is a built-in safety feature within the phone. Based on the notification, it seems that the change is not permanent and will unblock all numbers for a 2-hour period to ensure that you are reachable by emergency services.   @optus_help nah i dont have a problem YET..well the nets been ongoing for ages but ive been TO a 200km round trip optus shop and their only answer is? pay a huge amount for a NON portable chunky wifi setup. because your tower is ...maybe too close to my home ... to get decent service (facepalm)

  Further update, Mum was just on the phone with Optus and apparently Optus (an internet provider) isn’t able to call NBN to fix this, they can only text message them. Or at least that’s the line they are spitting out about the network degradations DO YOUR JOB!!!

  @QBCCIntegrity Australians are now being subjected to more and more data breaches. I have friends with Optus and Energex who are at a loss as to what to do. Bank details, card details, DOB. Banks cancel your cards in times of dispute. Direct debits are affected. Constant crimes against us all.

  @chdyctt I cancelled a contract with Optus 10 years ago due to their relocated contact centre. Was awful, but Telstra ended being cheaper believe it or not. In saying that, communications need to be explained easy & not written by AI and signed off.
