    @Optus Yes I get that but it does state on your FAQ's regarding the situation to call and that's the issue - you can't which is absolutely poor performance. Can you confirm when contact will occur as in how many days or weeks till I potentially find out being a former customer?

    @Optus I have tried to call your call centre re the hack to see if my info being a former customer and my mum's account still being an active customer was compromised but your call centre is closed. This shouldn't be the case and a dedicated team/number should be available 24/7

    @send2mc @trevorlong Yes, I also am having Optus email issues. No point ringing up as the lines are already blocked up with people worried about the data breach, remember don’t shoot the messenger even if they are in a OS call centre.

    In the last week or so, I’ve been getting 4-5 spam calls per day. Previously they happened once a month or so. Wonder if it’s got to do with me being an Optus customer and their massive data breach… which I’m still waiting to hear if I’m a part of

    Hello @Optus can you please explain when I go on to check an outage it says “we’ve identified a fault which means customers in the area may have no access to internet etc” but when I go on the help line they tell me there is no outage 🤔

    @trevorlong @danwarne @Optus I expect to get mine as part of the resolution of my TIO complaint that I raised when I was informed that since the expiry date on the licence information stored in Optus's systems was in the past, I was not at risk of Identity theft, so wouldn't be getting a code.

    @ClareONeilMP As an ex Optus customer how will I know. Does Optus have my new email address? How will they contact me? Can I respectfully ask the hacker to pass my new email on to Optus management so I can get some advice. 🙄

    If you are one of those 10,200 people, we advise you should immediately cancel relevant ID cards, your passport and do whatever else is needed to ensure that you are getting new identity documents based on the email from Optus.

    @JoshButler They sent me the code for 12 months free with Equifax. I started to join and they wanted a whole bunch of id uploaded and I just closed the website. Just going to cancel everything and change every password, can't trust anyone optus recommends

    @shaneoneill One thing that'll be interesting is "attending endless meetings about the data leak" isn't on anyone's rate card. So it's CRs all the way down to set a participation fee by vendors, and they know Optus are being told by the Commonwealth to comply.

    @PeteBelt @Optus Yes, we as a family decided today enough is enough with yet another service drop out and no help from their lazy, rude & USELESS "tech support". We are signing up to Telstra tomorrow. Their prices are competitive & we don't have to worry about our personal data being compromised.

    Well after a fukking hour trying to register for the free optus Equifax, I’m timed out and I can’t scan documents anyway! Now I’m really pissed at Optus, they caused this and now I can’t fix it!🤬🤬🤬
