  @Optus Hi Aman, I appreciate that but I was told that before when I was promised multiple phone calls that never eventuated. Never mind the FTTN service we are getting drops out constantly and isn’t as reliable as the previous DSL service at my old address.

  @kaine177 Optus oval was built closer to MCG dimensions … that would play a part, but yes if you think back, they didn’t play well in the hubs last year either. It’s a shame … No Gaff doesn’t help … and our weather is shite compared to over there. It’s proper winter footy.

  If there's one silver lining after the recent Optus and Medibank hacks here in AU, then it's the fact that orgs seem to finally be putting a focus onto their security from the top down. Today I had another great workshop with a new customer to assess their overall #cloudsecurity.

I got nothing the last time and when I was wanting to upgrade my phone was told I couldn’t have a cheaper plan as it was only for new customers. I’ve left and gone elsewhere.   I'm currently running a backup SIM in my phone. The number has never been put online, anywhere. And yet I got two spam calls today. That ain't a bot dialing random numbers. The number was recently transferred from Optus to Dodo. My number leaked out somewhere, how?

  Thank you to the NBN/Optus for restoring my internet connection at full speed. For the past 2 months it was working at woeful speeds. I was initially told it was a problem at my end 3 times but it seems the complaining from my end caused action for them to investigate and fix.

  @xjet @qikka2888 I'll be able to get a better/cheaper plan through another provider that uses Optus as the carrier, I just had to test that Optus worked, and it does. So it will end up being the permanent internet solution in the bunker. And temporarily gets me out of trouble at the lab.
