@HITCSevens It’s nearly 9am Alfie I’ve got lipzig x Liverpool on Optus sports and listening to @paul_winginit on stereo ... you gonna go on sterio and talk football on it lad .... I watched ya video last night :) I’m over lock down we been in lock down 3 now lad ... only been to one game ;(

If the .@Optus network wasn’t so bad and .@VodafoneAU wasn’t ridiculously panicked as to whether I can pay (because they made it clear they think I don’t make enough money), I’d be looking for a better network.

@kaine177 Optus oval was built closer to MCG dimensions … that would play a part, but yes if you think back, they didn’t play well in the hubs last year either. It’s a shame … No Gaff doesn’t help … and our weather is shite compared to over there. It’s proper winter footy.

@Optus Hi Aman, I appreciate that but I was told that before when I was promised multiple phone calls that never eventuated. Never mind the FTTN service we are getting drops out constantly and isn’t as reliable as the previous DSL service at my old address.

Wait. Wait. So because I only received that first generic email from Optus, that DOESN'T necessarily mean I've definitely had my **** lifted? Like, am I supposed to be racing to the Vic Roads website to flag my license or is that not necessary or nah, yeah, nah, help etc.

@Optus trying to update my details as a former customer and posdibly impacted by cyber attack, left on hold for 59 mins by your call centre and then they hung - seriously how am I supposed to update as not waiting another hour 🤬

@AlboMP The last 10 years the lnp did nothing to update cyber security whatsoever! Mind you. Why did Optus gave all that data! Once that potential customer signed on or not! There is no need for Optus to keep personal data!

@randomweights The simplest way to put it; OpSec of Optus left the front door open with the keys to the holy grail that was a 1:1 scale test network with internet connectivity.

@runbeagle From what I read, Optus did not install proper security measures for customer data, hence allowing anyone online to access it without authorisation. Very negligent I would say..

@strangerous10 @dlambart2 The Director of regulatory affairs at Optus from 2000 to 2008 was Paul Fletcher; minister for communications (2019 - 2022) responsible for regulatory requirements. A major issue exposed by this data breach is regulatory deficiencies in data collection, retention and protection.
