Never mind the FTTN service we are getting drops out constantly and isn’t as reliable as the previous DSL service at my old address.

We recommend enabling biometrics in the My Optus App for a faster and secure login, where no extra codes are required. From the 1st of Jan 2026, no conversation history will be stored/available in the My Optus app or My Account online. Satoshi Goy (@satoshigoy) reported@Optus Thanks, but that doesn’t address what actually happened. I was in the emergency broadcast area with a compatible device. There was no Optus coverage, but there was coverage from another network. Despite that, I never received the AusAlert. If emergency alerts can’t be delivered when your carrier is unavailable, even though another network is in range, that’s a significant issue. In an emergency, people shouldn’t miss life-saving warnings because of which carrier they’re with. Can you clarify whether AusAlerts are expected to be delivered in this scenario, or is this a limitation of the current system?
