From the evidence I have to conclude that @Optus don’t have anyone working in a call centre. They just play music at you until you give up. #service

@Optus DM sent. I’m not sure you can help. I was simply told I should have read my contract better.

@Braxeoswow @Optus I’d like to know the answer to that same question @Optus I call and then told the system to check is down. Pathetic service. This happens all the time in inner north Brisbane.

I just switched from @Optus to @TPG_Telecom 1 week ago. I ordered my NBN and the modem has arrived, but no one came to instal it after few days. The bloody customer service is terrible, worst than @Optus!! I had to be in chatRoom in line, ticket number 600 and after 9 hours...

@Optus I’m on phone support currently. The question is about remotely rebooting my modem when away, it drops connection 2xweekly

@VicBStard @NBN_Australia Makes sense. If @Optus had of kept the maintence of the cable up to standard before selling to the NBN then it wouldn't have been an issue. That being said I don't get why the NBN didn't just fix the issues.

@Optus Thank you. It’s a pity your chat help couldn’t check this. Or at least advise me to look at it. I was asked to reset my phone, remove my SIM card, change various settings. Each of these solutions were suggested multiple times despite advising none of them corrected the issue.

@annkozma723 @OlivierElzingre @steven_kolber I suspect it was an internet service provider problem. @Flipgrid grid is pretty hungry and @Optus was not playing fair.

@GaryNunn1 Aldi mobile uses the Telstra network without the Telstra price... but not sure if it supports things like multi devices or Apple Watch - I put my husband on $35 Optus plan (plus $15 to link iPad and the watch was free for the first year) with 30gb

@VickiPlatt5 @norfer40 Agree. Any fix for this should be paid solely by Optus. My understanding is Optus is footing the bill licenses in Vic and Nsw at least. ( not sure on other states)
-
Adam Staples
(@adamstaplesb40) reported
@Optus suggests using @VicRoads website to submit a block on yr driving licence if it was in the data breach. Mmmm don’t think so…that’s how this trouble started in the first place. #OptusHack #OptusDataBreach

@MadsMelbourne @Optus Optus should tell customers what items of data they hold and assume that it has been stolen. Clogging the system with pointless requests for new passports and licences doesn't help those who need to change them.

@freyalogann I did. The “but” sucks. You can have a point about how much personal info share online and not undermine people’s concerns about the Optus breach at the same time.

@westview138 @Optus Same here. One says drivers license compromised the other email addresses me as a former customer and says it wasn’t. I am still an active customer. I don’t think they have any idea!

I switched from Optus to circles recently and the process was totally painless and I'm saving about $20 a month. Just for anyone considering it. Uses the same network, so the coverage is the same, but heaps less annoying to deal with.

Rebecca
(@bec_br) reported
@RiddelCath @VictorDominello Agree. The card number hasn’t been compromised anyway. Optus didn’t retain it. So it’s a useless solution to change something the hackers don’t have.
