@bennya_84 It worked for a lot of the prof. era, but it’s clear now it’s a damaging relationship. Move with the times, like you say. For example. Optus’ streaming service has over 800k subscribers, which i recall is more then double Fox. - more emphasis and alignment on domestic 3rd tier...

  • melanie_mogs melanie morgan (@melanie_mogs) reported from Fingal Bay, State of New South Wales

When @Optus cut off your old phone number, but2 days later haven’t set up the new one, despite calling back into the shop twice. That’s 2 days of not being able to get in touch with kids/school etc starting to wonder whether this was the best network choice. Poor service so far

  • Kira67469865 Kira (@Kira67469865) reported from Ferodale, State of New South Wales

@Optus streaming issue, constantly please check internet... friggin fix ypur issues ....

  • melanie_mogs melanie morgan (@melanie_mogs) reported from Fingal Bay, State of New South Wales

@Optus the worst service ever!!! Only been with you 5 months, took 3 weeks to change our numbers over, not 4 hours. Didn’t mention putting pins on account so someone took 8k from our account. Now we have a 2k phone bill. Time for the ombudsman!

  • Kira67469865 Kira (@Kira67469865) reported from Ferodale, State of New South Wales

@Optus wtf is going on with your services . Fetch, hayu, you name it. Keeps saying no internet but we do!!! Going on for days.

@me_allyann @Optus They haven't contacted me either. No problems issuing the bill though a couple of days ago.

  • R3iGns42 Harley (@R3iGns42) reported

Optus should let us cancel our contract with no fee. So we can move to a different company, hand our devices in and let us walk away from this **** company. They are nothing without us.

  • kayleen87686977 kay - 5th Estate Reporting for Duty (@kayleen87686977) reported

@DeanRosario @Optus VIC roads are refusing to issue them

  • cherniTweet Cherni (@cherniTweet) reported

@Raf_Epstein @Optus @ClareONeilMP Well... Wouldn't that need to be changed here? Part of the problem is the privacy act wet lettuce fine and enforcement. Do a GDPR style and risk of fines will become an issue for corporations

  • bootrino bootrino (@bootrino) reported

Optus wasn't hacked. They simply left all the customer records at the front door for anyone to pick up.

  • djshotty69 DJ Shotty (@djshotty69) reported

@VaperNt @Optus Yet I'm perpetually stunned by the idiots who'll click on such a link, even though they've never held an account with the institution in the message. The lack of common sense is astonishing to say the least, so all I *will* say is, "If you get ripped off, serve yourself right!"

  • GreatZack000 ooloo (@GreatZack000) reported

Optus shall held responsible for poor data management & lack of CyberSecurity. They given away all private and critical customer info (Passport, DL, Names etc.) And asking customers to keep eye on suspicious activities. NOT acceptable. 👎

  • WyleECoyoteEsq WyleECoyoteESQ (@WyleECoyoteEsq) reported

@kbrspace I dont know what is worse. Optus declaring it WASNT human error for the breach, or their security systems are so flawed that a hack was able to happen. Human error provides some reassurance optus security systems maybe sufficient, but with the denial, their security must be ****

  • TJ_Morrissey Tristan Morrissey (@TJ_Morrissey) reported

@samishah @Optus I left Optus perhaps 4 years ago and I still got caught up in it. Will never be a customer with them again.

  • KRMFILM Kori Reay-Mackey (@KRMFILM) reported

So Optus got hacked and the alternative is a company which charges extortionate prices and another who apparently seems to have consistent network issues Open to suggestions, folks
