My Telstra nbn broadband network has been down all day from an alleged cyber attack

  • njubi_eric Njubi Ng’ang’a 🇰🇪 (@njubi_eric) reported from Newcastle, State of New South Wales

I moved into #Telstra 7 days ago and I promise you their nbn is the worst. Speeds of 7 mbps is just unheard of. Piece of advice to anyone planning to join Telstra DON’T

  • simon300376 Simon H (@simon300376) reported from Central Coast, State of New South Wales

@TPG_Telecom NBN dropouts again, persistently having same problem and now customer service directs to online chat, which is hopeless when your internet is down. Hopeless TPG. Am going to churn.

  • gregorymckenna Greg McKenna (@gregorymckenna) reported from Newcastle, State of New South Wales

@hef_mark I’ve been running off my phone with no problems while kids doing online classes on NBN - no issues at all 👍

  • RoyanWg Billy back in the black n broke HALLELUJAH (@RoyanWg) reported from Newcastle, State of New South Wales

@LesStonehouse Nothing about the shit NBN that the LNP/IPA Government has foisted upon the public instead of the world leading broadband it was supposed to be we are left with the inadequate bastardized system that Malcolm Turnbull/Abbott gave us

  • fat_lenny Lenny (@fat_lenny) reported from Newcastle, State of New South Wales

@DuhigLisa @NBN_Australia @Telstra I actually love having the business run from hone. Been doing it for years and have a dedicated office. Constant issues with the NBN though really hurt and you are powerless to do anything. Into day 2 of no work, about to head to Telstra.

  • richardmissingh richard missingham (@richardmissingh) reported from Central Coast, State of New South Wales

@TurnbullMalcolm @RNBreakfast That's like the only problem with the NBN is we thought you knew what you were doing ..

  • AshDiterlizzi Ashley Diterlizzi (@AshDiterlizzi) reported from Central Coast, State of New South Wales

Honestly, the worst thing about working from home is dealing with NBN, or more accurately, NBN outages. 🙄

  • adlrope Adam Rope (reality is stranger than fiction) (@adlrope) reported from Newcastle, State of New South Wales

@Qldaah @Telstra David, if have nbn connection then Telstra only service provider. nbn co own & maintain network. Telstra technical support can investigate but if underlying issue is network, nbn co responsible. If nbn co state 'no fault found', then service provider no power coerce nbn action

  • lazytraveldays Lazy Travel Days ✈️ ⛴ 🚘 (@lazytraveldays) reported from Newcastle, State of New South Wales

@adamajacoby NBN intentionality shit to benefit Murdoch

  • NigelBill Nigel Mullen (@NigelBill) reported from Newcastle, State of New South Wales

@exetel @chuggins9000 @NBN_Australia Thanks Rehan, but it is not an Exetel problem, all my neighbours have the same problem. NBN Co decided not to deluver high speed internet infrastucture to our Adamstown Heights area.

  • NigelBill Nigel Mullen (@NigelBill) reported from Newcastle, State of New South Wales

@NBN_Australia It is not a fault. It is a NBN design issue. If a house is 1.2km in cable length from a Node, can they expect 80mb or more in connection speed. Very simple yes/no answer is all that is required.

  • Type217 Dean Hanilton (@Type217) reported from Central Coast, State of New South Wales

Almost 2 hours got get Telstra Big Pond wombles to reset the NBN password. And I know what I’m talking about ... good luck if youre not network savvy. No I don’t want to use your shitty router, I want to use my good one

  • Type217 Dean Hanilton (@Type217) reported from Central Coast, State of New South Wales

Been a glorious 3 days with the NBN down. Apparently Telstra are going to actually show up today. It’s been kind of nice tbh.

  • bittenbydesign Bitten By Design (@bittenbydesign) reported from Central Coast, State of New South Wales

@alexwantscoffee @NBN_Australia Exactly my thoughts. And no amount of help from the service provider is going to change the amount of users on the node, or as you say, magically turn the copper lines to fibre optic.

  • bittenbydesign Bitten By Design (@bittenbydesign) reported from Central Coast, State of New South Wales

@NBN_Australia It’s directly related to the ‘fibre to the node’ loading, that can’t be fixed. Nor can the crap quality of the telephone lines in this area be totally replaced easily.

  • commiexcx Ray 🐑 (@commiexcx) reported from Central Coast, State of New South Wales

Big **** off to telstra for somehow making my first gen nbn (fibre to the house baby!) slow as all hell

  • shootin4love Liam O'Neill (@shootin4love) reported from Central Coast, State of New South Wales

@Vic_Rollison Gees, we probably still wouldn't have an ETS by now, a 2nd rate NBN and a system which favours the rich and blames the poor and unemployed for wearing those ugly old Vinnie's clothes. Wait a minute

  • bigtruth2 hometown hero (@bigtruth2) reported from Central Coast, State of New South Wales

@Telstra Got this message today “Hi, you recently contacted us about the Internet issue on your NBN Service. We believe this is now fixed” Guess what....STILL NOT WORKING!!! #australiasworst company

  • bigtruth2 hometown hero (@bigtruth2) reported from Central Coast, State of New South Wales

@Telstra another day goes by and still not resolved......June 26 and no NBN. Entirely Telstra problem when by mistake they put “restrictions “ on the account but it takes forever to lift them. BTW was in credit when restrictions where wrongly imposed

  • Anna98831 Anna - we need a renewable energy recovery 🌏🌞🐨 (@Anna98831) reported

@mikethebike55 @TurnbullMalcolm Yes..whole Snowy 2 & gas plan wld be repeat of NBN mess. Huge opportunity to go all in for necessary & best technology for the age. Or waste untold billions of public funds by choosing wrong path. Opportunity cost of not getting it right is immense. Snowy 2.0 worst PHES choice!

  • RammyJangra Rammy Jangra (@RammyJangra) reported

Telstra will one day takeover nbn, Qantas, Coles, Woolworths, AGL and many more in different sectors. We don’t have many options or have never been provided. Open Marker. Huh

  • spudcyclist Pomme de Terre (@spudcyclist) reported

@sophoife Yup. My Adsl was stable. Then 'Issues' happening since nbn installed. Sigh.

  • ewster ‏Ewen Bell (@ewster) reported

Hello @CBSNews it's great to have access to the channel in Australia via the Android TV app, but your ad service is choking big time on the NBN. Are they coming via the US or something? Gonna be hard to watch this channel.

  • JMF0927 TheFamousJojo (@JMF0927) reported

@attyjong @TigerMudra Agree! I hope the sponsors of this bill are not under the payroll of the duopoly. These senators will only legitimize the bad & expensive service of these telcos. What we need is competition! These senators should support the NBN so we can have more broadband service providers.

  • hemzet Zuagroasda (@hemzet) reported

Hey @superloopnet, do your @NBN_Australia plans have VOIP service either included or optional available? Thanks

  • cdjemery Craig Emery (@cdjemery) reported

@Telstra Is there an outage in Werribee via NBN/Cable? No internet or Foxtel

  • KathrynORyan KATHRYN O’RYAN 🌲🌳🌴🌿🦚🦜🍀🐟 (@KathrynORyan) reported

@VerschurenFred @johnlittle CON: unreliable NBN in rural area, & therefore no downloads of results, plus lost phone & fax lines Impossible to speak to a person at Telstra, had to be via text, & it took several days to sort out. Apparently a solo GP on call to local hospital is not an ‘ essential service’

  • Bickley81 Chad Hurling (@Bickley81) reported

@Optus hey we had scheduled nbn outage here at 3346 Melbs today. However still not working?

  • Samillsweneedt1 💧Samillsie (@Samillsweneedt1) reported

@MadFckingWitch @PollyWi92611992 I had assumed rural access to health would be part of a great new world available via labor’s nbn. But that got broken. Now I distrust this gov & their insistence on spying on civilians so much I don’t want my health info on the internet
