  • RoyanWg Billy back in the black n broke HALLELUJAH (@RoyanWg) reported from Newcastle, State of New South Wales

@LesStonehouse Nothing about the shit NBN that the LNP/IPA Government has foisted upon the public instead of the world leading broadband it was supposed to be we are left with the inadequate bastardized system that Malcolm Turnbull/Abbott gave us

  • fat_lenny Lenny (@fat_lenny) reported from Newcastle, State of New South Wales

@DuhigLisa @NBN_Australia @Telstra I actually love having the business run from hone. Been doing it for years and have a dedicated office. Constant issues with the NBN though really hurt and you are powerless to do anything. Into day 2 of no work, about to head to Telstra.

  • adlrope Adam Rope (reality is stranger than fiction) (@adlrope) reported from Newcastle, State of New South Wales

@Qldaah @Telstra David, if have nbn connection then Telstra only service provider. nbn co own & maintain network. Telstra technical support can investigate but if underlying issue is network, nbn co responsible. If nbn co state 'no fault found', then service provider no power coerce nbn action

  • lazytraveldays Lazy Travel Days ✈️ ⛴ 🚘 (@lazytraveldays) reported from Newcastle, State of New South Wales

@adamajacoby NBN intentionality shit to benefit Murdoch

  • NigelBill Nigel Mullen (@NigelBill) reported from Newcastle, State of New South Wales

@exetel @chuggins9000 @NBN_Australia Thanks Rehan, but it is not an Exetel problem, all my neighbours have the same problem. NBN Co decided not to deluver high speed internet infrastucture to our Adamstown Heights area.

  • NigelBill Nigel Mullen (@NigelBill) reported from Newcastle, State of New South Wales

@NBN_Australia It is not a fault. It is a NBN design issue. If a house is 1.2km in cable length from a Node, can they expect 80mb or more in connection speed. Very simple yes/no answer is all that is required.

  • DrCraigGedye Craig Gedye (@DrCraigGedye) reported from Newcastle, State of New South Wales

@Internode once again our @NBN_Australia connection is out because it has rained. Please fix the physical connection to our house. It is NOT a problem in our house. It is a problem with your ancient corroded copper network. Please repair immediately.

  • wifidownunder Aaron Scott (@wifidownunder) reported from Newcastle, State of New South Wales

Another 12hr outage from @telstra NBN. This is ridiculous. Maybe at some point I’ll have internet again.

  • gjblue Greg Blue (@gjblue) reported from Newcastle, State of New South Wales

@JaneCaro @Telstra The whole nbn is a joke, mate who works for them told me ours will never be any good because the copper goes thru a flooded pit at the end of our street.

  • ian_booth Ian Booth (@ian_booth) reported from Newcastle, State of New South Wales

Farrrrrrkk! When Fifield is questioned about the price of #NBN packages the best he can come up with is "they would cost more under Labor". It just rolls off their tongue so easily. "Take longer under Labor ", "cost more under Labor" and they're never questioned. Shits me.

  • Ophiolatrist Ralph Seccombe (@Ophiolatrist) reported from Newcastle, State of New South Wales

Dear Incoming Labor Government (I hope), please fix Malcolm's NBN mess. Happy for some of my taxes to be used for a good nation-building project.

  • walmsleyjoshua Josh Walmsley (@walmsleyjoshua) reported from Newcastle, State of New South Wales

@chrismurphys It is easy to blame Retail Service Providers the issue is that there was a change in Government policy that meant that the nbn was now using infrastructure that should have been de commissioned under original plan

  • bcsgamingshelf Brenton Chevin (@bcsgamingshelf) reported from Maitland, State of New South Wales

@JimBrowning11 i have small tech support and education business and YouTube channel called simple device advice in Australia, if you learn about any telstra or nbn scams can you let me know so i can alert my clients and viewers 😊

  • ajhill_alan Alan Hill (@ajhill_alan) reported from Newcastle, State of New South Wales

@albericie @CarrollRory @Telstra24x7 I’ve been with Internode for 14 years, hooked up to NBN last December. No problems whatsoever at any stage.

  • tictic76 Tic (@tictic76) reported from Newcastle, State of New South Wales

@Telstra your NBN service is as good as your customer service. Absolutely embarrassing

  • tictic76 Tic (@tictic76) reported from Newcastle, State of New South Wales

@Telstra how ******** can you win an award or more so issue an award when you can not even provide an internet service. And you customer service for the NBN is ******* outstanding...🙄

  • hecivan70 Ivan Hecimovic (@hecivan70) reported from Newcastle, State of New South Wales

@fat_lenny @Stannycfc @MEMBER4KS @ShayneRarma @BrettGriffo TBH I am yet to see the #MadeofNewcastle ads on TV. Already seen the Knights Membership ad a few times. I suppose that's the advantage of NBN (part of the Nine network) actively promoting it's own "product".

  • sultansofoink Sultans Of Oink (@sultansofoink) reported from Newcastle, State of New South Wales

@PSCouncil You will be promised speeds you will never get. If you complain the nbn blames the retail seller and they blame the #nbn good luck as you will need it. #auspol

  • sultansofoink Sultans Of Oink (@sultansofoink) reported from Newcastle, State of New South Wales

@lakemac Lets talk about the #nbn speed lies. Pay 100 get 50mbps pay 50 get 30mbps as each plan has different bandwidth to get the 50 you have to pay the 100. They never provide adequate band width it’s all lies just wait for 5g and the death of the nbn. #auspol

  • careerdranthony Anthony Llewellyn (@careerdranthony) reported from Newcastle, State of New South Wales

@NBN_Australia Thx. Keep rolling out a 2nd rate broadband network and wasting taxpayer money. At least we are now rid of the chief culprit in @TurnbullMalcolm

  • careerdranthony Anthony Llewellyn (@careerdranthony) reported from Newcastle, State of New South Wales

2 whole days without internet no feedback from @Internode support. No idea when it will be fixed. Completely unacceptable @NBN_Australia #nbnfail

  • Liiiiizzzzz Liz (@Liiiiizzzzz) reported

@Telstra Been trying to call and email for days - no answer! Nbn is down. Not happy

  • BrowntownBrew Cdbrown (@BrowntownBrew) reported

@Neil11450147 @Anna98831 @mickjoebill @annapianna1 @MrKRudd @pauldutton1968 That is NBN spin to justify a poor decision. Perhaps when blocks were subdivided they didn't get lead-in, but majority of homes do. Regardless remediation of lead-ins was factored in to the cost.

  • LittleCelestia Celestia ✰ IRL catgirl ✰ (@LittleCelestia) reported

My video has been uploading to Dropbox for nearly 2 hours. **** Aus NBN. I’m trying to be an e-***** 🥺

  • bergchamp Bergs (@bergchamp) reported

@GuidoTresoldi @RocBSyd I've had massive NbN drops with Optus over the past week. Even drops service.

  • LeithMarshall Leith Marshall (@LeithMarshall) reported

@lachyl @PrimeVideo 5GB of data for an hour of streaming is actually *************** though. As for my contract, NBN hasn’t been connected to my building and ADSL is as slow as Dial-Up here. I don’t have another option.

  • katiewebb katiewebb (@katiewebb) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

1/2 It should be illegal for @Telstra to force a customer (me) to connect to the NBN when other internet options at this address are available (ADSL, cable). It should be doubly illegal, when they can’t even provide NBN because even though I’m “NBN Ready” (its connected to the

  • awrd Andrew Davies (@awrd) reported

@NBN_Australia I’d appreciate any comms by mid-morning tomorrow. I can’t keep waiting on hold to ISP for 1.5 hours to conduct more tests. I need the issue resolved.

  • awrd Andrew Davies (@awrd) reported

@NBN_Australia Current service is very intermittent and phasing between online and offline. If not fixed soon going to have to revert to ADSL 2+. Not able to work properly and can’t keep having consistent dropouts.

  • JohnRob16933826 John Robertson (@JohnRob16933826) reported

@NickRossTech @cheryl_kernot @NBN_Australia Not we are not "talking down Australia". What we are constructively criticising is the gigantic stuffup of using FTTN instead of FTTP/H. This was bought about by RW poilitical considerations & not by choosing a better technology solution. Turnbull caved in to vested interests.

  • woopdedoo652 I'm a Unicorn (@woopdedoo652) reported

@NBN_Australia The first guy who responded here said NBN would work with the provider to rectify if it's deemed an infrastructure issue, but it IS an infrastructure issue and NBN will do nothing so that's a load of nonsense. You guys just reply here to make it look you'll actually do something
