  • martyvis Martin Visser (@martyvis) reported from Yerrinbool, State of New South Wales

@NBN_Australia I spoke to my provider, and they have been told by NBN that there is planned remediation but no ETA. I'm just disappointed that today's visit by NBN wasn't planned properly. I've no medical issues relying on the network, just hoping for service to get my work and relaxation done.

  • jackfjack6 Stiletto Black Jack - Very Unpleasant to Trolls (@jackfjack6) reported from Moss Vale, State of New South Wales

@ShiannonC Squillions. Telstra, NBN and AFP have been aware for at least 4 months. No idea what they done to resolve this scam issue.

  • jackfjack6 Blistering Black Jack - LNP Chasseur (@jackfjack6) reported from Moss Vale, State of New South Wales

Was great try-on other day, April Fools about fixing NBN. Gotta be a big at attack big target for Labor, on nation-wide issue. Guess we will find out soon.

  • martyvis Martin Visser (@martyvis) reported from Yerrinbool, State of New South Wales

Wakey, wakey, rise and shine @NBN_Australia! It's now 21 days since my service went down and today is the 3rd date you have given my retail provider for restoration. ( No updates as of Friday so we assume all systems go).

  • martyvis Martin Visser (@martyvis) reported from Yerrinbool, State of New South Wales

@mverbloot @NBN_Australia @iiNet I don't think so. I've been delighted with the 50/20 service via copper. But something hit the aerial lead-in cable at 3:30 Monday morning 3 weeks ago. A neighbour on Telstra was restored within days but for some reason NBN can't supply a tech with a ladder ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

@NBN_Australia Thanks April but this is as good as it gets, the NBN service is sub par.

  • newcastleboyy Fearless Friend (@newcastleboyy) reported

@mssquiggs65 My NBN went down twice. Someone must have nudged a cable at the box. It appeared to be the same problem within a month and my brother told me NBN trucks had been working in the street. I wish they’d remember to reconnect the cables properly

  • MattM_RN Matt Mason (@MattM_RN) reported

@Dr_Polarbird @cathimon Would be something to consider, an online option as well. But that will probably casue the NBN to melt down.

  • KyalFN kyal (@KyalFN) reported

Went from fttp nbn 0 ping stable to fttn 25 ping with regular spikes to 100 ping and the occasional 200 ping spike. Gonna have to turn down stream bitrate or something unfortunately. Apparently my house will get fttp at the end of 2023 which is not great

  • _markagregory Mark A Gregory (@_markagregory) reported

@GuardianAus The former prime minister appears to have had a problem with understanding the cost of projects and the need for clarity. The #nbn fiasco is @turnbullmalcolm's legacy, Australia is now a third world broadband nation and the excuses continue to pile up. #auspol @nbn_australia

  • Ozbloke36 Aussie Bloke (@Ozbloke36) reported

@TurnbullMalcolm You ruined our country's hope for good NBN with your garage mixed model and FTTN crap. Should have been FTTP in all major cities end of story. Even that you managed to stuff up.

  • SylvieAlf Sylvie (@SylvieAlf) reported

@Gingobibble @TurnbullMalcolm I also thought Turnbull was a decent pollie but- behind his TV appeal,he did this: -as PM-Amended Austn media ownership bill resulting in ability for its monopolization. -Changed NBN to slow copper -Gave Non-Tendered GBRFound'n $448 Funds to a tiny LNP Donor who hadn't applied...

  • DiirtyCrimeGirl Kirichka (@DiirtyCrimeGirl) reported

@Optus internet/NBN is down in the 3037 and 3038 areas, is there any work being done to resolve this issue?

  • BrentonGriguol ⛷brenton griguol 🇦🇺🇮🇹🇰🇾🇨🇭🇦🇹 (@BrentonGriguol) reported

@NBN_Australia again another unplanned outage at mile end south SA. It happens all too often, get it sorted

  • DjoranKeil Djoran Keil (@DjoranKeil) reported

@StewyMelbourne @abcnews Yeup. And this is BECAUSE Telstra has so much control over this sector. They stifle competition & regulation for their own benefit. Without Telstra, for instance, the NBN would've been far better but instead we're going to be paying them to use the copper network for decades.
