Was great try-on other day, April Fools about fixing NBN. Gotta be a big at attack big target for Labor, on nation-wide issue. Guess we will find out soon.

Martin Visser (@martyvis) reported from Yerrinbool, State of New South Wales
@NBN_Australia I spoke to my provider, and they have been told by NBN that there is planned remediation but no ETA. I'm just disappointed that today's visit by NBN wasn't planned properly. I've no medical issues relying on the network, just hoping for service to get my work and relaxation done.

@NBN_Australia Upgrade is not available in my area. That is beyond me, I live in a suburban area that has been established for 25+ years. Looks like **** internet forever

@NBN_Australia @michaelplis 3 months and waiting for you to sort out my speed issue due to line damage. Yeah good job.

@Tayzlor @NBN_Australia Look at NZ and how well they are doing with their fibre roll out and the costs people pay for the various speeds. We could have had that if LNP didn't cripple the network. FTTP networks have value and provide a return on investment. Reusing copper doesn't.

@Tayzlor @NBN_Australia Telecoms network is critical infrastructure that was in the hands of a company that bled it dry to expand its mobile network. NZ Telecom did the right thing and participated in the fibre rollout. Telstra wouldn't because they were greedy under the leadership of Sol

My internet (@NBN_Australia ) has been down for 3 consecutive days now Makes working from home MIGHTY expensive (have to use my 5g plan) More annoyingly; the 5G is clogged up too because everyone's now on that instead of NBN ARGH

Josh Taylor (@joshgnosis) reported
@anthony06108170 The cost was coming down, and is cheaper now. A lot of that info is in the reports. Got to remember, capital expenditure is one factor - the operating expenditure is the one biting NBN now having to maintain the old copper.

Daniel Khodaverdian (@dkhodaverdian) reported
@FinancialReview The NBN network is already outdated and its not even finished. The LNP made sure of that the day they trashed it. Once 5G and then 6G is freely available no one will use this crap. Paying thousands to connect fibre to the premise from the street just for a measly 100mbps. Genius.

@theage @Chris_Murray48 @hijessicayun So Rudd planned for NBN. The Libs decided to go with copper instead of fibre, blow the budget and provide **** internet. Labor now have to upgrade it to fibre NBN as first planned, but some rubes think that’s Labor’s fault?

Christopher Jarman (@raymond3020) reported
@RobMax4 half our suburb is FTTH and the other (including us) recycled the foxtel/telstra HFC cable. Constant drop outs. Our ISP tested their line/connections and said the cable in the old telstra pit was giving low signal. NBN said all good (even though they didnt physically check it)

@MSMWatchdog2013 Only in Australia do we announce we’re rolling out a national network, then we **** if up with fibre to the node, HFC & the bollocks of fixed wireless and satellite - to now find out that the Aust taxpayer is on hook for $25b Plus we’re now rebuilding it with FTTP. TI #NBN
