Martin Visser (@martyvis) reported from Yerrinbool, New South Wales@NBN_Australia I spoke to my provider, and they have been told by NBN that there is planned remediation but no ETA. I'm just disappointed that today's visit by NBN wasn't planned properly. I've no medical issues relying on the network, just hoping for service to get my work and relaxation done.

Martin Visser (@martyvis) reported from Yerrinbool, New South Wales@mverbloot @NBN_Australia @iiNet I don't think so. I've been delighted with the 50/20 service via copper. But something hit the aerial lead-in cable at 3:30 Monday morning 3 weeks ago. A neighbour on Telstra was restored within days but for some reason NBN can't supply a tech with a ladder ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Blistering Black Jack - LNP Chasseur (@jackfjack6) reported from Moss Vale, New South WalesWas great try-on other day, April Fools about fixing NBN. Gotta be a big at attack big target for Labor, on nation-wide issue. Guess we will find out soon.

Martin Visser (@martyvis) reported from Yerrinbool, New South WalesWakey, wakey, rise and shine @NBN_Australia! It's now 21 days since my service went down and today is the 3rd date you have given my retail provider for restoration. ( No updates as of Friday so we assume all systems go).

Tony Ilian (@tonytau101) reported from Westfield, Western Australia@FreoLou @MatthewPassmor8 @FreoPope It's likely that your Internet is delivered over copper (FTTN) or possibly HFC. FTTN - depends how far the premises is from node. Has the problems with poor instalations, pits letting water leak in etc NBN HFC - uses higher frequencies than Telstra = dropouts. TI

Vasco da Gamer (@invertiert) reported@blindidiotgod We have a spare NBN box you can have if that might help?
-
jess i guess (@whichdoejess) reported@TheLifeofBilby whenever people talk about this I bring up the giant disaster of the nbn rollout and how much of a disaster and waste of money it was, but it's useful to know the libs also have a history of poor spending that can be pointed to!

Millyvanillichilliwilli (@milli_willy) reported@DodoAustralia Your internet has been down for 24 hours now in VIC. Instead of making us stay on hold for 15 min only to have Tech Support lie to us about it being NBN’s fault, perhaps you can preemptively update your customers and perhaps send an apology or two via SMS. 1/2

Angela Slatter (@AngelaSlatter) reported@aa_campbell @Telstra @andy_penn No, this is still ADSL coz we're having trouble getting someone to commit to whether or not we can get NBN.
-
ajWasThere (@ajWasThere) reported@DaveMilbo The worst part is that if the nbn was done properly with Fibre you would have been all good. I have FttH and have up to 1gbps down 50mbps up and it's great.
-
iainentertained (@Iainentertained) reported@NBN_Australia No. You refer to an RSP because that’s the system’s structure (to avoid responsibility at all costs). If there is a referral from an RSP, there is no internal support team at NBNCo to handle. There is further automated testing, which 9/10 times tells the RSP “not our problem”.

Murray Webber (@MyNameIsMurray) reportedMark Gregory, an associate professor of network engineering (RMIT Uni), said the "NBN has already cost taxpayers $5 billion more than the superior iteration originally proposed, and will require an estimated $16 billion worth of further upgrades to render it fit-for-purpose".

Still Shane Sullivan (@stillshanesully) reported@Asher_Wolf Hi Asher. In between washing and vacuuming (both of which I know you love), can you or your techy mates answer this?... I have FTTN NBN. Do I need a modem router or can I just use a router? No VOIP usage. We do have a phone bundle, but we never use the phone part. Thx

"Pickup artist Mike Engram" (@dril9999) reportedCheck out my interview on Sky News One with Pauline Hanson. I'll be giving away a free copy of the #NBN to help pay for NBN construction.
