I'm just disappointed that today's visit by NBN wasn't planned properly. I've no medical issues relying on the network, just hoping for service to get my work and relaxation done.

But something hit the aerial lead-in cable at 3:30 Monday morning 3 weeks ago. A neighbour on Telstra was restored within days but for some reason NBN can't supply a tech with a ladder ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Regional Tech Hub (@RegionalHub) reportedUPDATE! @NBN_Australia has recovered over 15,500 services across Australia due to the impact of the cyclone. Just over 1000 services are currently affected due to power outages or damage to the network. NBN will be on the ground today restoring services as it is safe to do so.

Rory Burnside (@RoryBurnside) reported@nyy_cate @Mattys123 We had our NBN go down for 36 hours last April. Right in the middle of the first lockdown. Apparently it was due to system maintenance which they didn’t tell us about, and they were highly unhelpful when we contacted them. Planned outages should be suspended during lockdown.

Had the business still been owned by the people they could have built us a 21st Century broadband network for far less than we are paying for a poor imitation.

Replace it with an $89, 36 month locked-in contract, which totals to $3,204 per customer over a 36 month period. @elonmusk

Stormy (@dutchnstormy) reportedI've had the #nbn for 26 months with a speed of ~53Mbps. A few weeks ago there was some maintenance and it has been ~26Mbps ever since. Now I'm at the mercy of my ISP support line. Ain't that the epitome of first world problems? 🙃
