@NBN_Australia I spoke to my provider, and they have been told by NBN that there is planned remediation but no ETA. I'm just disappointed that today's visit by NBN wasn't planned properly. I've no medical issues relying on the network, just hoping for service to get my work and relaxation done.

@ShiannonC Squillions. Telstra, NBN and AFP have been aware for at least 4 months. No idea what they done to resolve this scam issue.

Wakey, wakey, rise and shine @NBN_Australia! It's now 21 days since my service went down and today is the 3rd date you have given my retail provider for restoration. ( No updates as of Friday so we assume all systems go).

@mverbloot @NBN_Australia @iiNet I don't think so. I've been delighted with the 50/20 service via copper. But something hit the aerial lead-in cable at 3:30 Monday morning 3 weeks ago. A neighbour on Telstra was restored within days but for some reason NBN can't supply a tech with a ladder ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

@Bedeapk Look I don’t have a huge problem with the NBN, it’s certainly not the worst 50b the government’s ever spent. But pretending it had long term economic viability was delusional. I recall at the time that people were warning 5G & satellite wireless would do precisely this

@smh @zoesam93 Dear @NBN_Australia — simply put, do better! Your network deserves to be shown up for the joke that it is. It was barely good enough and then incrementally delivered to lesser and lesser standards.

@NBN_Australia provided quote for FTTP upgrade. I paid said quote. 2 months later, they come back it’s now going to be an additional $50,000 extra to do it with no justification as to why. Wtf?

The nbn was a bad idea and has been poorly executed. Great job!

@Richard81199310 @Pentanet_ISP Sadly looks like it was a marketing ploy only. I too was looking forward to saying goodbye to poor nbn but 12 months later here we still are…

@HenryTheEgg @KirstyLNeedham You have half an argument here. The Port of Darwin issue was 100% a bad decision. But on Huawei, the government blocked telcos from using them ( not just NBN, but all telcos).

"...“The company was backed by the previous govt. that wanted to get its money back from its investment in the #NBN,” Mr Budde told TND. “As the costs of building the NBN have blown out enormously, it is basically the broadband users who are paying the price for bad policy.”..."

@roshan6 @NBN_Australia @stevenmarkryan Well, that’s great. Because the NBN I had was completely useless. Starlink has its issues around weather but the bandwidth supported is mind blowing!

@JelCastragigo @GDixon1977 …and, in superior economic management style they are so proud of, it cost so much more to break it! Was it broken to give Murdoch a chance to revise his Foxtel situation? NBN, as originally proposed, would have made it pretty well redundant.
