  @NBN_Australia I spoke to my provider, and they have been told by NBN that there is planned remediation but no ETA. I'm just disappointed that today's visit by NBN wasn't planned properly. I've no medical issues relying on the network, just hoping for service to get my work and relaxation done.

  Wakey, wakey, rise and shine @NBN_Australia! It's now 21 days since my service went down and today is the 3rd date you have given my retail provider for restoration. ( No updates as of Friday so we assume all systems go).

  Was great try-on other day, April Fools about fixing NBN. Gotta be a big at attack big target for Labor, on nation-wide issue. Guess we will find out soon.

  @mverbloot @NBN_Australia @iiNet I don't think so. I've been delighted with the 50/20 service via copper. But something hit the aerial lead-in cable at 3:30 Monday morning 3 weeks ago. A neighbour on Telstra was restored within days but for some reason NBN can't supply a tech with a ladder ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

  UPDATE! @NBN_Australia has recovered over 15,500 services across Australia due to the impact of the cyclone. Just over 1000 services are currently affected due to power outages or damage to the network. NBN will be on the ground today restoring services as it is safe to do so.

  @RM_LewisAu The outage affecting your service has been resolved. However, since the service is still not working, a tech from NBN is required to attend. We'll let you know as soon as we have the details of the appointment. -Charm

  @nyy_cate @Mattys123 We had our NBN go down for 36 hours last April. Right in the middle of the first lockdown. Apparently it was due to system maintenance which they didn’t tell us about, and they were highly unhelpful when we contacted them. Planned outages should be suspended during lockdown.

  @CPSUnion You only need to remember what happened when Telstra was privatised. They screwed the government over the NBN. Had the business still been owned by the people they could have built us a 21st Century broadband network for far less than we are paying for a poor imitation.

  For Starlink to take market share from NBN in Australia, Starlink needs to remove the $799 fee for the satellite dish and $139 month to month fee. Replace it with an $89, 36 month locked-in contract, which totals to $3,204 per customer over a 36 month period. @elonmusk

  I've had the #nbn for 26 months with a speed of ~53Mbps. A few weeks ago there was some maintenance and it has been ~26Mbps ever since. Now I'm at the mercy of my ISP support line. Ain't that the epitome of first world problems? 🙃

  Nbn was advertised as fast and revolutionary for Australia, yet it causes nothing but constant problems. Oh you want Internet when the lines are down? That’ll be an extra $200., but don’t worry, because the backup internet is down as well, **** you!
