    @KRV1944 @NBN_Australia Similar experience here recently. Hours on support chat to RSP. Eventually fixed with new modem.

    @ShackelWill @JoSmith05406728 It’s Labor’s miserable ghost Turnbull who was in charge, same blowout happened with his other failure the NBN. If K Packer hadn’t provided his financial support which later he regretted Turnbull would be just another punter. Kerry had nothing good to say about him.

    @DWybar2 @robb_j_m @Optus Change providers. Aussie broadband were great in pin pointing the issue, providing all the info to nbn to prove there was an issue and getting it fixed.

    @TheKouk Including child care, the ABC etc. is only the first bit of where you’re wrong. Even if you include them in your list, they don’t put a dent on white elephants like the NDIS, NBN, and not to mention all the lost tobacco reve— oh, I’m sorry, I forgot you were a retard. Carry on.

    @robb_j_m Starlink. Prior to that we had a satellite connection through the NBN in our rural area which was a bit of a nightmare. They brought in this 'fair use' clause that if you went over a certain amount, you'd get suspended, but it was never terribly clear if you were approaching your limit. It was a rolling limit. I don't know if they still have it. Probably. And then our plan, the larger one, was removed and we were put on some weird sort of plan that gave us no real allocation where we couldn't even watch youtube. Really shabby way to treat customers. Starlink is reliable, has good speeds and no limits on usage, and we never get throttled. It's about $135 a month, but we're happy to pay. We'd never go back to NBN.

    @wilburston @robb_j_m $110 per month is more expensive than most NBN plans - unless you’re out of NBN range and need satellite, Starlink will never be better - it’s physically impossible.

    @DavePhippen After 8 calls totalling 12 hours to NBN co and Telstra I found the magic key: Just say "Ombudsman" Service person arrived the next day and a new modem the same week.

    @AlanBixter I’m not a hater but I can’t decide if I hate Medibank Private or Telstra / NBN more? Telstra / NBN sent 15 techies to fix our Internet problem & many phone calls all while our kids doing Uni exams & 1 wtg for cardiac surgery. Stress ++ Good luck Alan coz you’ll need it 🙏

    @eevblog Seems like NBN is pushing down stream providers to jump off 5G to NBN. Which sucks because it’s stifling competition and providing a worse service at a more expensive price
