Write: “Installer jumped other jobs, took extra cash, destroyed my NBN infrastructure instead of installing Starlink properly and connecting devices. On top plan.   My phone reception has been having issues, yesterday the nbn carked it and I got spat on (my bag) by someone in Footscray. I’ve ordered $60 worth of coffee this morning, had 2 long blacks and I’m about to walk the dog in the rain and go to a bathhouse this arvo.

  @MichaelRuyg yep, when they built the NBN fixed wireless tower, that carries optus and vodafone as well, it had a backup generator. then the tower got "upgraded" with 6 months of regular outages and then next power outage we discovered the backup generator and the ability to call 000 was gone

  @cb_doge The rural numbers are the real story imo. NBN was supposed to fix that gap and Starlink just walked in and did it faster.

  No wifi today, we've had some electrical problems, mainly to do with the washing machine. That just means a relaxing Sunday of playing them games (now that the electricity is on). (NBN always takes a long time to recover.)
