So I'm hearing that NBN doesn't require a copper line (my house's copper line is broken so this was massive news to me) But then how does that work...

@hoser_meier We are sorry to hear your having issues with your service, Christian. You've done the right thing to proactively report any issues directly to your provider as they have the tools to do further tests. If the issue is with nbn, they'll let us know by logging an Incident 1/2

@RichardTuffin I agree... waste of space, waste of billions on ****** up NBN, ruination of small farms that hosted backers, couldn't even get an energy policy passed when it had bilateral support.

Just as well we had the NBN to save thousands of lives and the Australian economy when people could stay home and work. It must have paid for itself. Waddle we do next? Inland high-speed rail through Barnaby's paddock? It'll never make a profit of course. #QT at 2 and find out

@PaulFletcherMP @NBN_Australia Methinks @PaulFletcherMP has never been out of #Arsetralia to somewhere with comparatively functional broadband infrastructure, like the US, the EU, or Kazakhstan.

My NBN modem keeps crashing, and requires a power reset to restart it. I was thinking about getting a computer controlled power socket, but of course they are all wifi which would go down when the modem does, sigh. Any USB/ethernet controlled Australian plug sockets?
