  @ianclarkeAU @CovfefeDnUnder The NBN cannot do it now, but the optic fibres it uses can. Only the gear at either end changes. There is not a wireless system in existence that could carry the existing load of the NBN, let alone future needs. Talk to a network engineer, please.

  @AGLEnergy internet has been down for 14+ hours. HFC NBN, hard-wired setup, two known-working routers tested, cables changed, NBN box reset. Router sends PPPoE PADI but gets no PADO, so this is failing before login/auth. Please stop looping basic Wi-Fi scripts and escalate to NBN

  @Darth_Peachez Genuinely takes me ten hours minimum to download 100gb. It's local news obviously but there's a couple news sites in Australia talking about how a lot of us will be ****** by digital only because of how bad our NBN and wifi still is and how far behind we all are

  I woke up to find my Internet is down. I'm typing this via an unusably slow emergency backup mobile access function. I hope my fibre connectivity comes back up soon. The problem is with either my ISP(RSP), or the #NBN, more likely the former.

  @CovfefeDnUnder @ianclarkeAU All network types have limits on the bandwidth (speed available to users), even wired ones... It's just that for fixed networks like the NBN, those limits are much, MUCH higher.
