NBN Issues Reports Near Connewarre, State of Victoria

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Connewarre and nearby locations:

  • KathyReid Kathy Reid, Servant of House Corgi (@KathyReid) reported from Geelong, State of Victoria

Summary: we almost-delivered an obsolete network not fit for purpose and now we're struggling with finding a way to make it valuable as a private asset and service our debt, and raise capital to rebuild it post-2020 instead of it being made a public utility #NBN #NBN2

  • tonywalker1 Antony (Tony) Walker (@tonywalker1) reported from Fenwick, State of Victoria

Good Q. Down here in Seachange given up on the NBN. Use Telstra 4G box. Not good enough. NBN imposed.

  • 75b0ce8567df4cd Dave Wood (@75b0ce8567df4cd) reported from Geelong, State of Victoria

And 3 out of 4 premises are now capable of connecting to the NBN! Well that is at your own risk! It's just more bullshit from government and ISP companies to scam more money from anyone stupid enough to opt for this NBN CRAP!

  • monicasmeow Monicasmeow🐈 (@monicasmeow) reported from Geelong, State of Victoria

@Henjam48 @JaneCaro @TonyAbbottMHR @NBN_Australia They’ve been set up to fail. Like most entities that are answerable to govt. The person responsible for it all is JWH. Had Telstra not been sold in the first place, it would have continued to upgrade its network and we may not have needed an NBN on the scale the ALP envisaged.

  • cjnetlink Cory (@cjnetlink) reported from Geelong, State of Victoria

Why is @3AW693 targeting @Telstra about the NBN and how it’ll cope with the increased load on the network. There are other providers of the NBN out there. #sheeple listening will take any slow downs or outages as being Telstra’s fault/problem.

  • cory_actually CORY (@cory_actually) reported from Geelong, State of Victoria

@Vintuitive Must just be that the NBN is shit 😉🤣

  • kirrilyfred Kiz #StayTheFkHome 🦠 (@kirrilyfred) reported from Anglesea, State of Victoria

@ThornburyRocks I turned the ringer off on mine about 10 years ago. Still available in an emergency for calls out*. As long as the nbn is up and running.

  • PaulJohnHodgson Paul Hodgson (@PaulJohnHodgson) reported

@Telstra Thanks Ryan. We understand we won’t ever be getting NBN because an ‘existing provider delivers a fibre network to this area’. Given that Optus has been forced to close their network, it must mean the former Telstra Velocity network.

  • Lecrappe Lecrappe (@Lecrappe) reported

@TPG_Telecom I have been waiting 5 days for one of your technicians to contact me to diagnose a constant dropout issue on NBN HFC. I think it would be quicker to change providers at this stage.

  • Ryan_DLima Ryan (@Ryan_DLima) reported

@NBN_Australia Hi just got a call from a NBN Customer service imposter that NBN will be down in NW VIC for three days, to get on my computer and they will guide me to use the back up service. Told these idiots to get a real job, please warn all NBN customers of this con job.

  • msimaker1 Jimbo (Part of the "chattering class") (@msimaker1) reported

@DougCameron51 @wisteriameadow A small wish list for @AlboMP once he gets in. 1. Revoke Hillsong tax exemption. Or all churches but that's a pipe dream. 2. Spend big on Education and Health. 3. Fed ICAC 4. Fix NBN

  • EdSevenSeven Ed Clark (@EdSevenSeven) reported

@NBN_Australia I am def connected to the nbn and have been since the roll out in my area, but your network status page takes 3-4 minutes to process and doesn’t even recognise my address as nbn connected?

  • AUSFestivus 💉3️⃣ Grug the stop sign 🛑 (@AUSFestivus) reported

A reminder that the NBN originally planned for a zero-touch service turn on. Arrive at new place, plug in computer, open browser, NBN capture page displays list of RSPs available, customer selects one, enters payment details, service activates. Done. No human interaction.

  • ken_killcare Ken Nielsen (@ken_killcare) reported

@self_inflikted @NBN_Australia @Tracy2103 Then it was someone between Aussie and NBN, the network isn’t simple.

  • WestnetAU Westnet (@WestnetAU) reported

@williamwilkes2 Hi there! It depends on your service type. If it's NBN, up to 2 working days after connection appointment (appointments subject to technician availability). Would you like a call or do an online relocation via our website? -John

  • Weitoostrong Wei (@Weitoostrong) reported
