NBN Issues Reports Near Connewarre, State of Victoria

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Connewarre and nearby locations:

  • cjnetlink Cory (@cjnetlink) reported from Geelong, State of Victoria

Why is @3AW693 targeting @Telstra about the NBN and how it’ll cope with the increased load on the network. There are other providers of the NBN out there. #sheeple listening will take any slow downs or outages as being Telstra’s fault/problem.

  • 75b0ce8567df4cd Dave Wood (@75b0ce8567df4cd) reported from Geelong, State of Victoria

And 3 out of 4 premises are now capable of connecting to the NBN! Well that is at your own risk! It's just more bullshit from government and ISP companies to scam more money from anyone stupid enough to opt for this NBN CRAP!

  • cory_actually CORY (@cory_actually) reported from Geelong, State of Victoria

@Vintuitive Must just be that the NBN is shit 😉🤣

  • tonywalker1 Antony (Tony) Walker (@tonywalker1) reported from Fenwick, State of Victoria

Good Q. Down here in Seachange given up on the NBN. Use Telstra 4G box. Not good enough. NBN imposed.

  • monicasmeow Monicasmeow🐈 (@monicasmeow) reported from Geelong, State of Victoria

@Henjam48 @JaneCaro @TonyAbbottMHR @NBN_Australia They’ve been set up to fail. Like most entities that are answerable to govt. The person responsible for it all is JWH. Had Telstra not been sold in the first place, it would have continued to upgrade its network and we may not have needed an NBN on the scale the ALP envisaged.

  • KathyReid Kathy Reid, Servant of House Corgi (@KathyReid) reported from Geelong, State of Victoria

Summary: we almost-delivered an obsolete network not fit for purpose and now we're struggling with finding a way to make it valuable as a private asset and service our debt, and raise capital to rebuild it post-2020 instead of it being made a public utility #NBN #NBN2

  • SerotonjnFPS Fletcher (@SerotonjnFPS) reported

@Kherzii My Telstra modem swapped to data when our house’s wiring caused our NBN connection to die, and my god, it was ******* horrible. Slow, unstable, no range, it somehow functioned worse than my phone’s data despite being the size of a brick. Hope yours works better than mine did

  • napost13 napost (@napost13) reported

@FinancialReview Saw with airports the benefits of selling a public monopoly to the private sector- prices go up. NBN great example why govs should never back technology winners. Competition always produces a better product and better value for the consumer.

  • xspance Optimus Plagueis (@xspance) reported

@NBN_Australia @superloopnet You don’t have the technical detail of every scheduled outage? Can you send me the link to where that info can be found, I’m super keen to understand if it’s break fix or things are being upgraded. Pretty important info when you are constantly dropping out most of Melbourne

  • Yuraygir_137 Paul Johnson (@Yuraygir_137) reported

@AlboMP @JEChalmers Should have shut down the NDIS, eh. And the NBN? COVID income support?

  • n_adhithya @dielny (@n_adhithya) reported

Can someone from @DodoAustralia help me activate my NBN connection at the earliest. It has been 48 hrs since I’ve raised a support ticket but there have been no updates.

  • CaptDaags Capt Daags (@CaptDaags) reported

@Telstra Faced with overwhelming engineering evidence @NBN_Australia finally attended on-site and conceded there was a problem and replaced the NTD. Service reliability restored. Monitoring continues.

  • QueenDissidence 🚀🛸QueenD🇦🇺🌏👩‍🔬🌸 (@QueenDissidence) reported

@wyvernsrose @candid_chalkie @PaulMeekPerth I haven't had internet on my phone for 2 weeks so far due to "upgrades"🙄 I'm getting pockets of extremely slow NBN & the moment it rains it's dead😠. I'm Perth metro & the no internet is an actual real problem.
