    And 3 out of 4 premises are now capable of connecting to the NBN! Well that is at your own risk! It's just more bullshit from government and ISP companies to scam more money from anyone stupid enough to opt for this NBN CRAP!

    Summary: we almost-delivered an obsolete network not fit for purpose and now we're struggling with finding a way to make it valuable as a private asset and service our debt, and raise capital to rebuild it post-2020 instead of it being made a public utility #NBN #NBN2

    @Henjam48 @JaneCaro @TonyAbbottMHR @NBN_Australia They’ve been set up to fail. Like most entities that are answerable to govt. The person responsible for it all is JWH. Had Telstra not been sold in the first place, it would have continued to upgrade its network and we may not have needed an NBN on the scale the ALP envisaged.

    Good Q. Down here in Seachange given up on the NBN. Use Telstra 4G box. Not good enough. NBN imposed.

    @Peter_Fitz Yep common. Just hang up. If you press any keys you end up with a human that wants to ‘validate’ you (ie get your CC & some personal details for exploitation). They usually purport to be from subscription based providers, eg NBN, Telstra, Netflix, Amazon

    @NBN_Australia My TIO complaint number is 2022/01/00134 . I have contacted the member for baulkham hills and member for mitchell in assistance to get my Internet fixed. 7 technicians have come and verified its corroded TAPS, and poor signal on the lead in cables.

    @SanatanaMishra I never wanted a landline, but for years I had to have one to get ADSL. There were no naked ADSL options in our suburb. Ditched it the moment I got NBN. Only my mother in law and robocalls ever used it tbh.

    @samanthamaiden I had to help my 89yo neighbour get an NBN-based landline installed. She doesn't have the internet or even a mobile phone. Am I now going to have to lodge the online application for her? WTF? 🤨

    @NBN_Australia Hey @Energex are you responsible for the 32hr+ & counting NBN outage in West Burleigh/Tallebudgera area on the Gold Coast? @NBN_Australia is blaming you. Businesses & houses don't seem to have had any power issues in the past 48hrs.

    @NBN_Australia Could you please provide a link to the 'network status page'. Seem to be having an issue with the NBN in Manly West, QLD 4179. Have done everything to try and rectify the problem but to no avail.
