Summary: we almost-delivered an obsolete network not fit for purpose and now we're struggling with finding a way to make it valuable as a private asset and service our debt, and raise capital to rebuild it post-2020 instead of it being made a public utility #NBN #NBN2

@Henjam48 @JaneCaro @TonyAbbottMHR @NBN_Australia They’ve been set up to fail. Like most entities that are answerable to govt. The person responsible for it all is JWH. Had Telstra not been sold in the first place, it would have continued to upgrade its network and we may not have needed an NBN on the scale the ALP envisaged.

And 3 out of 4 premises are now capable of connecting to the NBN! Well that is at your own risk! It's just more bullshit from government and ISP companies to scam more money from anyone stupid enough to opt for this NBN CRAP!

@NBN_Australia @Telstra My NBN box has been clicking, link button flashing red since last night's storm (Sutherland NSW). I'm on backup 4G (hideously slow) and next NBN visit (via My Telstra) is 22nd March. I work from home so need decent internet for my business. Not good enough

@NBN_Australia After the storm last night, my NBN connection box won’t turn on. Yes I’ve tried different outlets and they’re working for everything else: the box feels hot though. Internet has been down for ages

@NarstyWoman @PaulXBeck @AlyxG The nbn was the biggest mistake,high speed internet could have put thousands into’work’ because Aussie internet is slow there are very few streamers etc (which you could make a decent living off ) not only through YouTube paying for your content but also patreon ...tax $$s

@LesStonehouse Lots of good policies came out of the Rudd.Gilliard era including NDIS and NBN but Labor was its own worse enemy and Murdoch didn't need a second opportunity to destroy Labor at that stage. Greens didn't help either.
