Summary: we almost-delivered an obsolete network not fit for purpose and now we're struggling with finding a way to make it valuable as a private asset and service our debt, and raise capital to rebuild it post-2020 instead of it being made a public utility #NBN #NBN2

@Henjam48 @JaneCaro @TonyAbbottMHR @NBN_Australia They’ve been set up to fail. Like most entities that are answerable to govt. The person responsible for it all is JWH. Had Telstra not been sold in the first place, it would have continued to upgrade its network and we may not have needed an NBN on the scale the ALP envisaged.

Why is @3AW693 targeting @Telstra about the NBN and how it’ll cope with the increased load on the network. There are other providers of the NBN out there. #sheeple listening will take any slow downs or outages as being Telstra’s fault/problem.

And 3 out of 4 premises are now capable of connecting to the NBN! Well that is at your own risk! It's just more bullshit from government and ISP companies to scam more money from anyone stupid enough to opt for this NBN CRAP!

Good Q. Down here in Seachange given up on the NBN. Use Telstra 4G box. Not good enough. NBN imposed.

I am still waiting for any action. The reason given was ntd mismatch with address.Not sure how this was working since last 3yrs. Same update daily that we are investigating. Please help as it’s difficult WFH on mobile data and its been week w/o internet. @NBN_Australia @Aussie_BB

@NBN_Australia Automated devices not responding, internet pages woefully slow to load. Speeds terrible. Kicked connection, restarted NBN wall box (Fixed Wireless), rebooted router, devices &etc. I'm sure nothing will be done to address this - it's your normal response to issues!

@NBN_Australia broadband at Waitara, NSW has been down since 12:00 am. No email, no notifications, no eta about the outage. NBN delegates to service provider and service provider shrug off as not their responsibility. The whole NBN setup is such a terrible idea 😖

@DaleHof1234 DropTus The internet provider that told dad his service was being cut off and he had to switch to NBN. He did and they continued to bill him for the old service for 2 months. The phone provider that told us it was our house, not their tower service, that was the problem? Fibs.

@Venus4828 @Aussie_BB In its previous life it was an access router. Primarily used to terminate dense 10G wavelengths out to the NBN POIs.

@abcnews Here at lake Maquarie we struggle for mobile service and reliable NBN - or what we like to call ‘Not Bloody Now’ with all the dropouts. Have switched to Starlink @SpaceX can’t wait until satellite mobile service becomes affordable, just a matter of time!

@TPG_Telecom Last night 13 Sept my TPG NBN (NSW 2049) was intermitten. Today 14th my NBN was out all day. According to NBNco outage page there'll be "planned outages" Thurs 15th & Friday 16th for 10 hrs each. I can't work from home for 3 consecutive days if this is the case!
