Whimsical๐ฆ๐บ (@whimsical523456) reported from Melbourne, Victoria@JEChalmers You aren't creating any new private sector jobs. You aren't even investing in the private sector with public companies anymore. The last one was the ****** NBN a full generation ago now. ***** sake! Found some ******* publically owned companies and show you actually ******* support growing the economy. AND GET RID OF CGT AND INCOME TAX! Hike the GST if you need to keep the revenue the same.
-
Adam Gemmell (@raymond3020) reported from Melbourne, Victoria@Optus talk about impossible to contact you to find out why my nbn is not working. Happy to give my data away but not help.
-
James Hutcheon (@hutcho66) reported from Melbourne, Victoria@taipan168 And Telstra only faces minimum service guarantees in a very small component of the business where they continue to hold assets that used to be owned by the government. That's shrinking over time as the NBN buys out the copper.
-
Tim McMahon (@_TimMcMahon) reported from Melbourne, Victoria@vertikar @NBN_Australia @Telstra I received an SMS later to expect 4 days of no internet. ๐ I've got a backup service running at full speed through another telco. Best not to put all our eggs in one basket if nbn HFC and Telstra mobile are both unusable while WFH. ๐ฅต Fortunate that there's overlapping coverage.
-
๐Lisa Tantrika เฅ , ๐ซ (Overall Being)๐ซ๐ (@BeingOverall) reported from Melbourne, Victoria@ClayFeetWander Within last hour yes but NBN no that's still down

Amanda Valentina๐๐๐โ๐ (@AmandaValentina) reported from Melbourne, Victoria@schmidtyr71 I had NBN call me on Tuesday morning out of the blue. I begged them to come over, which they did. I had one technician, then two spend all day and half the following, fixing the issue. The ISP called me when they were there, telling me they were escalating my matter.
-
r3toric (@r3toric) reported from Melbourne, Victoria@NBN_Australia @southeastwater @BaysideCouncil Consider this the report. Litterally all of your hardware is underwater. Do what you will with this information ๐ค๐ผ
NBN Issues Reports
Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
-
Max (@diss_presso) reported@BrowntownBrew @robb_j_m In some cases. They would pay Telstra to use the pits, or Telstra itself would install fibre. This is an issue all over the world. Weโre simply trading one monopoly (Telstra) for another (NBN). But thereโs nothing to stop another company in theory from running their own fibre in dense areas - but not now of course, as they wouldnโt be allowed to undercut the NBN (hence the stupid NBN has actually made it so internet cannot be cheaper than how much they say it should be - law of unintended consequences - now the law is literally making cheap internet illegal).
-
The Noisy Elephant (@TheNoisyTrunk) reported@Goyoubays @bob_parto You are such an uninformed ****** that we'd bet you support One Nation, you dim cooker. The original NBN planned and started by Labor was FTP all the way and was NEVER going to be funded by the telcos, you idiot bath scum ring. The Libs ****** it by changing it with their "Technology Agnostic" prayer using a cobbled together FTN. Go back to bed and fiddle with yourself like you were before you posted your dimwitted, uneducated reply. Take tissues. ******* idiot.
-
Cdbrown (@BrowntownBrew) reported@DWybar2 @robb_j_m @Optus Change providers. Aussie broadband were great in pin pointing the issue, providing all the info to nbn to prove there was an issue and getting it fixed.
-
Jordan Wardle (@JordanWardle5) reported@theinfradev @ruicharadrius I'm not revising history. The plan was fttp everywhere, with Telstra and optus copper being bought out to move them to the NBN. The copper was never going to be used for the NBN. Look at the Telstra definitive agreements from 2011.
-
Hardware Unboxed (@HardwareUnboxed) reportedAll this talk about personal computing dying and what not, I (Steve) decided to try GeForceNOW (Australia) Ultimate using Wireless NBN, Starlink and 5G. My review is this: It's really bad, f@&ing sucks. Thank you for your time.
-
Terry Corby (@TerryCorby57986) reported@DaveMcG67 @Ausbobsmit @lauren_vasiliou Like Snowy 2 you mean started by LNP at a cost of $2B now estimated at $42B an LNP project or the NBN which cost us $110B more under Abbott& Turnbull for a far inferior service.Neither the right or left r great project managers.

-
ComputerGoBrr (@ComputerGoBrr) reported@Teadaxs @robb_j_m The vast majority of third world internet infra is way better than nbn, perhaps a poor comparison
