Jay Ball (@JayBallzup) reported from Melbourne, VictoriaThis Google Stadia thing looks cool. Probably wonβt be great in Australia until 5G is here. That said, they recon they only need min 15mb down; max 40ms latency and max 5% packet loss. Many NBN connections smash that. But if itβs widely adopted, congestion will cause issues.
-
Susan Luber (@tiges_rule) reported from Melbourne, Victoria@Optus has the worst customer service ever. I tried to organise nbn through their online chat and they flat out lied to me in order to get my business.
-
Susan Luber (@tiges_rule) reported from Melbourne, Victoria@Optus And I have spoken to nbnco themselves and they have confirmed that you are flat out lying to me. The times available depend on the provider NOT the nbn. Further proving how bad the customer service at Optus has been.

-
Mark Gambino πΏ (@timewaster2000) reported from Melbourne, VictoriaIt pays to shop around for @NBN_Australia products, even if youβre on contract. I may pay a cancellation fee to sever my @Optus ADSL service, but the zero install fee and lower monthly cost of another company will see me ~$50 better off over 24 months, plus enjoy faster speeds.
-
Julien Goodwin (@LapTop006) reported from Melbourne, VictoriaWell that sucked, after replacing all the cable all the way to the splitter the tester showed great signal, but NBN didn't like it.

mads dikkelsen (@30_to_40olives) reported@NBN_Australia It's fttn. It's slow, it's unreliable, the line has needed repairs multiple times, it's unfit for service, and nbnco thinks it's funny to quote thousands of dollars for an fttp upgrade when properties <50m away have fttp connected
-
Richie Black (@RichieBlackAu) reported@Internode Connection has dropped and no outage over on NBN co. Green lights going from 1 through to 4 and not connecting.

π- Tingeling -π (@tingeling_au) reported@NBN_Australia @TurnbullMalcolm The NBN is a load of dysfunctional rubbish, who would put up with its stop and start so called service, if it was anything else? Imagine a car announcing its about to stop in the middle of a trip, it would be laughable if it wasn't so infuriated.π€¬

-
John Alexander (aka. Crash Test Dummy) (@HumanTestSample) reportedIt's 5:30am, I'm halfway through my first conference call for the year with a global audience and my HFC @NBN_Australia connection drops out AGAIN. It's sad that @NBN_Australia don't classify a fault until it's 5 dropouts per day. A dropout means a 5 minute min. outage. #fail
