    @_thomasparkes @NBN_Australia Yep - starlink (and similar services in US) appear to be the primary use case. It's a per-device service; I'm using it to access a Raspberry Pi server. Setup involves installing wireguard and configuring a tunnel to the endpoint.

    @dmccann65 @Ballyurra @slsandpet Thanks for the NBN rant, I’m well aware of its shortcomings.. but she asked for an alternative provider since Telstra are refusing to help her perform any troubleshooting. Superloop will help her with this

Be aware business people coming for "meetings" we were told big outlay billions NBN going to stop required overseas travel enabling link ups offices counterparts world wide in own offices! save big $$$?

    @MarcinS 75Mb is not too bad, I have one of those weird phone line NBN thingies too in Katoomba and I do get 100Mb but I'm very close to the town centre

    @Optus @ADarkObelisk And here we have the cut and paste standard response. I clearly wrote NBN-voip phone (not a mobile). Do better @Optus. This just compounds your poor form.

    @azzaishotstuff @Optus Mate you should try being in rural NSW. We have been out for 3 days. Optus expert says its NBNCo problem. NBN can't get to us until 15 July so no phones or intertube until then apparently Only a telstra mobile hotspot to fallback on. We are not in remote area.

    @Optus Phone and Internet both dead suddenly whilst locked down and WFH, now I have got slow 4G/3G connection sometimes on phone but no NBN still after almost an hour

    @Optus It looks like the Optus telephony is back. The Optus NBN is still down, now for over an hour. It's a nightmarish morning for Teams calls. What's the ETA? I'm managing my work with my mobile hotspot with Telstra. Those who have Optus mobile internet have no plan B.
