    @_thomasparkes @NBN_Australia Yep - starlink (and similar services in US) appear to be the primary use case. It's a per-device service; I'm using it to access a Raspberry Pi server. Setup involves installing wireguard and configuring a tunnel to the endpoint.

    @ellen_briggs Yep, my idiots complained my nbn internet plan wasn't fast enough, No problem I said, I will upgrade to the fastest plan and they can pay the difference, just like magic internet is actually ok after all.

    After an NBN internet outage last night I now find my Ring video doorbell is offline. I can see it is connected ok to my eero home wifi but would appear to not have an internet connection. Just wait until the next eero update and restart? @ring

    @Optus Despite what the app says and being reassured on a call with support that we didn't get charged for excess use, the bill charged an extra $10. I'm already frustrated that you can't provide us with NBN, even though all my neighbours are serviced. Data caps and 4G suck.

    Just had frustrating 3 days of no internet and pathetic 3G mobile service…outside only. Dealing with NBN and Telstra can be a nightmare. Hopefully being back in twitterville will up my mood and dampen my anxiety.

    @lukehgomes @Paul_Karp The vaccine rollout is pretty terrible, which is great for the former PM because it makes the number he did on the NBN look like amateur hour.
