  @_thomasparkes @NBN_Australia Yep - starlink (and similar services in US) appear to be the primary use case. It's a per-device service; I'm using it to access a Raspberry Pi server. Setup involves installing wireguard and configuring a tunnel to the endpoint.

  @dmccann65 @Ballyurra @slsandpet Thanks for the NBN rant, I’m well aware of its shortcomings.. but she asked for an alternative provider since Telstra are refusing to help her perform any troubleshooting. Superloop will help her with this

  @algorithmsayshi Tried clearing app cache ? Could be using CGNAT as well. Getting a static IP from ISP could fix the issue. Also, you could try turning off the NBN box for twenty minutes to see if you can pick up a new IP that's not flagged.

  @larrikinstreak @robb_j_m The ISP pays a significant portion of the price of a service to NBN. I don’t know where you pulled your **** from to think it was free, but perhaps go fling it somewhere else.

  @NBN_Australia Nobody seems able to answer a simple question. 80 Fig St, Pyrmont NSW 2009 has a network fault. I've tried 3 ISPs and keep getting passed around. Is NBN aware of the issue, and when will it be fixed? Three weeks without an internet connection...

  My home internet cut out. It must be raining somewhere in Sydney. This NBN Internet is a joke. Everytime it rains even slightly you lose connection.

  @aussi3dutchman @robb_j_m I did. It was in my pocket all along. For an extra $100 per year. I can have 120mb/s anywhere I go. Cancel your NbN. It’s a scam. 👍
