@_thomasparkes @NBN_Australia Yep - starlink (and similar services in US) appear to be the primary use case. It's a per-device service; I'm using it to access a Raspberry Pi server. Setup involves installing wireguard and configuring a tunnel to the endpoint.

  • Adam_Dorain May the farce be with you (@Adam_Dorain) reported from Halls Gap, State of Victoria

@dmccann65 @Ballyurra @slsandpet Thanks for the NBN rant, I’m well aware of its shortcomings.. but she asked for an alternative provider since Telstra are refusing to help her perform any troubleshooting. Superloop will help her with this

Bloody hell. The geniuses at @NBN_Australia have made it impossible to use a mesh wifi network, like #GoogleNest, on their FTTC network. Thanks @TurnbullMalcolm we’re still dealing with the remnants of your arrogant ignorance

  • Robyn19859383 quepasa (@Robyn19859383) reported

@NBN_Australia @NoEchoChambers I’ve had three NBN techs booked in this week, one Monday, one Tuesday and one today! NOT ONE TURNED UP OR CALLED!!! Absolutely appalling service!!!

  • AllanSeymour1 🔥💧😷Scotty: I only hold a pose, mate 😷💧🔥 (@AllanSeymour1) reported

@Harclubs1 Yes, you'd think that the NBN management would be to blame for the technical issues. Perhaps the bonuses for exceptional competency should be paid back. However the ****** internet, lack of fibre to the home, I blame on the LNP & our last 3 PM's.

  • RockSta10118815 RockStar (@RockSta10118815) reported

@NBN_Australia My NBN went off during 'planned maintenance' and never came back on. That sounds less like a computer software issue and more like sabotage.

  • SWLangdon Stuart Langdon (@SWLangdon) reported

Converting our business #telstra #NBN. Now have no internet access for a week to run the business with!! Thanks @Telstra @NBN_Australia. Maybe @andy_penn can help??

  • jameswarfe James Warfe (@jameswarfe) reported

@Internode really disappointing how poor the @NBN_Australia performance had been of late. Any issues to be aware of? If not feel free to ramp up the bandwidth a bit.

  • Peterfilmphoto Peter (@Peterfilmphoto) reported

@Telstra #NBN EXTREMELY poor reliability over the last few days in south west Brisbane - people need to work from home here, what’s doing?!

  • NBN_Australia nbn™ Australia (@NBN_Australia) reported

@kodiegraham There are a few factors that might affect speed such as congestion, faults, or networking equipment. However, it's best that your provider works with their internal nbn support team on your behalf to see what changes can be made and ensure a robust connection. 1/2

  • TatteredRemnant Tattered Remnant (@TatteredRemnant) reported

@NBN_Australia Hello. Thanks for response. Apparently, NBN FFTC does not support the use of mesh modems like Google Nest. Apparently, VLAN is the technical limitation. It’s very frustrating.

  • MarkRocque Mark Rocque (@MarkRocque) reported

@NBN_Australia OK, but then why make me wait from 8-12 today, then change it to the afternoon. Then not turn up at all. Then blame me for not being at the house, then change the story to this scheduling issue and delete my appointment. Without contacting me.
