  @dmccann65 @Ballyurra @slsandpet Thanks for the NBN rant, I’m well aware of its shortcomings.. but she asked for an alternative provider since Telstra are refusing to help her perform any troubleshooting. Superloop will help her with this

  @_thomasparkes @NBN_Australia Yep - starlink (and similar services in US) appear to be the primary use case. It's a per-device service; I'm using it to access a Raspberry Pi server. Setup involves installing wireguard and configuring a tunnel to the endpoint.

  I got an ad from NBN saying the post codes with demand for highest speeds and maybe you could not waste money on this stupid ad and cut wholesale rates to give everyone fast speeds

  @Foxtel So easy not to choose Foxtel. Crazily overpriced options to get the stuff you actually want. Plus the NBN was nerfed to support Rupert Murdock. Just say no.

  Covid support, FNQ support during no flights and stopped people drawing down on their super. Completely! To draw down on the Future Fund, you have to prepare a business case on how it will be repaid, with interest. Rudd tried to draw on it for nbn & was knocked back.

  Just got a scam phone call. The "This is your NBN service provider. We're getting messages that there is a problem from your computer's IP address" Really, what's my IP address. Scammer rattles off a bunch of numbers. "Not even close, dude." *click* #scammers

  @KirstyWebeck Is it the problem with the NBN getting the boxes (hcf) that carry it into the apartments - my kids have a 3 month wait in a Brisbane appt (no qld jokes thx)

  @Telstra I know that the cable fixed line network will be disabled in future for the NBN - but not yet in this area. I just don’t wish to switch at this time & couldn’t get a clear answer.

  Hats off to @Optus. NBN outage and they were quick to respond & provided free extra data so I could hotspot all day for work til it got fixed. Great service, thanks Optus!
