    @_thomasparkes @NBN_Australia Yep - starlink (and similar services in US) appear to be the primary use case. It's a per-device service; I'm using it to access a Raspberry Pi server. Setup involves installing wireguard and configuring a tunnel to the endpoint.

    @dmccann65 @Ballyurra @slsandpet Thanks for the NBN rant, I’m well aware of its shortcomings.. but she asked for an alternative provider since Telstra are refusing to help her perform any troubleshooting. Superloop will help her with this

    @BiteSizedMediaX The Howard Costello government also left a future fund which is something like $240 billion now. Labour are eyeing that off, I wonder if they’ve already broken into it. Rather than just paying into it, they bought out NDIS, Nbn, all these other green BS things.

    You're partly right - we don't have a free market. The market here is heavily distorted with gov intervention. Inflation is cause by increased money supply. That inflation affects everyone - including grocery stores, NBN providors, health funds. They must pass those costs down. Fuel is also subject to inflation in addition to the fuel crisis. This impacts input costs for many businesses, not all, to varying degrees. The only thing that causes market wide inflation is Gov.

    @WhosFibbing Serious outages occurred under the LNP, including failures that blocked Triple Zero, crippled mobile networks, and shut down parts of the NBN. Some were longer, larger, or more dangerous than the recent Telstra event. So please do carry on.

    Hi, when is the service going to be restored in Seven Hills, QLD. It's been more than 24 hours and we havent heard what the issue is. @NBN_Australia

    Australia has free fibre internet. Nobody needs high latency satellite garbage in fibre areas. Being inflicted with Kband wireless radiation that could well be CIA subliminal messaging mind control signals like mobile is. Overbuilding NBN fibre should be prevented and ridiculous.

    @VoteLewko @Starlink This is exactly why we need billionaires and trillionaires to do things that our governments always completely fails to do. So glad we wasted billions of our dollars on a rubbish NBN service huh

    @Teh_Jkr @Optus @Optus I have 5 services with Optus and have been a customer for 12 years. My NBN internet has been really poor, yet I’m charged full price with no real offer. As soon as I get time from my busy life, I’ll be switching all my services.

    @VoteLewko @2GB873 Starlink is great if you're mobile, but you never want to use it to replace the nbn residential connections. The speeds and latency you get from a fttn/fttp connection are leagues better.

    @Telstra well done. In an unprecedented occurrence after more than 40 years as a customer, Telstra staff - part of the transition team from ADSL to NBN - have, after a series of missteps, done everything single thing they promised to do yesterday. Thank you.
