    @_thomasparkes @NBN_Australia Yep - starlink (and similar services in US) appear to be the primary use case. It's a per-device service; I'm using it to access a Raspberry Pi server. Setup involves installing wireguard and configuring a tunnel to the endpoint.

    @NBN_Australia We have Optus 4G because NBN (under Turnbull) decided our town wasn't worth anything more than fixed wireless. So why reward bad behaviour? I'd prefer to give my $ to Optus or Telstra... which says volumes! "Don't build and they won't come"

    @NBN_Australia @RunOnFlux I want fibre to the premises Node is less than 15m from home in front of our letterbox. No copper to house, currently using old Transact cable service. Performance is mediocre. High usage household. 100/25 mb/s would be The ideal minimum !!!!!!

    @ausstockchick Also, what is the solution for people who park on the street, or in the garage of their building? Do we install charging bollards at car length intervals on all streets everywhere there's high density housing? Considering the NBN cost what it did, what's the cost?

    @nathan_warner @NBN_Australia I'm half a continent away and mine's been dropping in and out for ~24hrs. Good when working but drops out frequently and modem takes forever to reacquire signal.

    @NBN_Australia I have no interest what others are being upgraded to. I want to know when I am being upgraded to the service I should have received from the start.

    @phazzles Just paid through the nose for my NBN alternative that gives me 500/100 service in my apartment instead of 40/10 on NBN

    NBN down again. How good is it to have a service provider that will email you what's happening, why it it will be down etc. Unfortunately it's an NBN problem so they can't fix it but I can talk to them. Never got that service from Optus or Telstra. FYI they're called @launtel.
