  @_thomasparkes @NBN_Australia Yep - starlink (and similar services in US) appear to be the primary use case. It's a per-device service; I'm using it to access a Raspberry Pi server. Setup involves installing wireguard and configuring a tunnel to the endpoint.

  @JonDeeOz @Telstra Hope you get it sorted. So many people put up with Telstra even though they have shockingly bad customer service. I get that their mobile coverage is good, but get out of the Aussie relationship for everything else. NBN should be with @Aussie_BB

  @jellibat For reference... I get around 100 to 200 Mbps down but am generally limited to around 5Mbps Up and 20ms latency on average (LTE on phone) NBN is consistent at around 50Mbps down 19Mbps up (with 5% variance on all above stats) and 9ms latency (NBN plan is 50/20)

  @idlhndzbizimind @2madcavs @AndrewCatsaras Yes, if there is a link to a news article often one has to subscribe to read the entire piece. So I don't. Same reason why I rarely buy a rag. Full of stuff I don't want. Better news available from ABC AM PM and such sources. Murdoch slowed down NBN now this. ??

  @Robertsonh @AlboMP **** wish I had your NBN. My FTTN was slower than dial-up so soon as my contract was up I got a nighthawk dongle. Pages no longer take 5 mins to load.
