@dmccann65 @Ballyurra @slsandpet Thanks for the NBN rant, I’m well aware of its shortcomings.. but she asked for an alternative provider since Telstra are refusing to help her perform any troubleshooting. Superloop will help her with this

@_thomasparkes @NBN_Australia Yep - starlink (and similar services in US) appear to be the primary use case. It's a per-device service; I'm using it to access a Raspberry Pi server. Setup involves installing wireguard and configuring a tunnel to the endpoint.

@QuentinDempster @AlboMP Didn't NBN already announce this was their plan. After the LIBS spent $50B getting it to where it is today and now will have to spend another untold $B's. They are an absolute disgrace and should never be allowed to be in govt.

@NBN_Australia Your website didn't show an outage in my area yesterday despite it not being fixed till this morning. Thankfully my service provider is more organised than your organisation and provided updates.

@LesStonehouse Nope. He was insular, arrogant, cliquey and wouldn’t listen. He was the leftie version of Abbott. Eg Most of the NBN and telco problems we have today started with the way he deregulated the industry. Banking royal commissions - him deregging banks poorly etc.

Hey @NBN_Australia your lack of communication and notification to customers is unacceptable. Woke to an all day outage- no warning whatsoever- on a weekday where many people are meant to be WFH. Not good enough.

@NBN_Australia From what I can tell, very few providers have notified customers incl the majors. Customers only check your network status page after already losing connectivity, missing work, calling ISPs and gaining nothing but redirects to information on how long we must now wait.

@lubiephil Only problem when he was in Government he was just as bad (maybe not quite) as Morrison... He seems to forget what he did to our NBN.... Funny how they change when they leave...

@tanya_plibersek You have to love Turnbull, grand finalist for Australia’s worst PM and presided over the nation’s 2 worst procurement decisions, the NBN and subs.

@cheryl_kernot I will never forgive Turnbull for kneecapping Labor's 93% FTTP NBN. Why there hasn't been a royal commission looking into this disaster is beyond my understanding.

@LanceWantsYou @2three2 @tanya_plibersek The NBN failure single handedly crippled the country's future growth. Every problem thereafter can in some small way be attributed.
