@_thomasparkes @NBN_Australia Yep - starlink (and similar services in US) appear to be the primary use case. It's a per-device service; I'm using it to access a Raspberry Pi server. Setup involves installing wireguard and configuring a tunnel to the endpoint.

@dmccann65 @Ballyurra @slsandpet Thanks for the NBN rant, I’m well aware of its shortcomings.. but she asked for an alternative provider since Telstra are refusing to help her perform any troubleshooting. Superloop will help her with this

Trying to get a longstanding 4g backup issue fixed with @Telstra and the lazy call centre guy just says 'well its working now, get back to me if theres a problem' But its not working. And when the NBN goes down... I have no internet... cause the 4G doesnt work....around we go.

@MySkyMesh When m NBN is down I don’t have bandwidth or any internet to open this page, so your directions to tell me to check a page that requires internet, when I have no internet either means you are incompetent, ignorant or cruel.. Don’t know which is worse.

Nbn, amazon, nbn, amazon Scam calls every frikkin day trying to get me to press 1 where they can charge me big for the call. Get ******. Whatever happened to the real person making scam calls ? They were fun to **** with. The robocall scams are just boring and a waste of my time

@Telstra 3 x 45 min calls with Tech Support …. I get told my NBN is still being commissioned. I’ve had nbn for 3 weeks. I’ve moved from Bigpond broadband to NBN (it’s a different modem). Switch from a coax cable to a telephone like.

@selina2twt U are not expecting too much. I had an OPTUS outage 3 days ago. Optus booked NBN person to turn up between 1pm & 5pm yesterday. They NEVER appeared. Then after complaining to OPTUS was told they would chase up NBN & get back to me in 24 hrs. STILL WAITING.

@drratikasharma 1. If you have multiple devices connected to your wifi, it puts pressure on the connection and slows down the speed. 2. Check internet speed via your provider's site if they have any issues & call 'em. 3. Another possibility could be NBN is working in your area to upgrade.
