  @_thomasparkes @NBN_Australia Yep - starlink (and similar services in US) appear to be the primary use case. It's a per-device service; I'm using it to access a Raspberry Pi server. Setup involves installing wireguard and configuring a tunnel to the endpoint.

  @dmccann65 @Ballyurra @slsandpet Thanks for the NBN rant, I’m well aware of its shortcomings.. but she asked for an alternative provider since Telstra are refusing to help her perform any troubleshooting. Superloop will help her with this

  @GamewithDave The only network connected devices I own are my Windows desktop PC, my HMD Pulse+ Android phone, my ISP-provided TP-Link router and my ISP-provided NBN FTTC NCD modem. I refuse to buy any of the "smart" crap.

  @venteaVT My house has starlink, runs at about 160 mbps at best and it’s like 3x faster than the nbn at my parents house, Australian wifi is so bad

  My home internet cut out. It must be raining somewhere in Sydney. This NBN Internet is a joke. Everytime it rains even slightly you lose connection.

  @WSWanderingEels @ardmorelad Yep Aus govt also own the NBN network who mainly use the Telstra network, amongst other smaller players. Everyone gets a drink

  @Telstra Your customer service team are disgusting. They mixed up NBN and Optimcomm and not one person answered a single question I asked. Absolutely disgusting. I want to raise a formal complaint.
