Matt Furlong (@matticus_flinch) reported from Halls Gap, Victoria@_thomasparkes @NBN_Australia Yep - starlink (and similar services in US) appear to be the primary use case. It's a per-device service; I'm using it to access a Raspberry Pi server. Setup involves installing wireguard and configuring a tunnel to the endpoint.

Future Mrs Clooney (@MsShoegal) reported@mimstacey My friend’s husband was a Foxtel tech for a long time but he got moved across to NBN installation nearly 2 years ago as they didn’t need the workers anymore. He now does a lot of cash jobs with people that know him, to fix, move, install etc existing Foxtel boxes.

He now does a lot of cash jobs with people that know him, to fix, move, install etc existing Foxtel boxes.
