@MikeCarlton01 So between Turnbull and Morrison they have delivered the two most costly blunders in a Australian history in the Submarines and the NBN, all from the better money managers wtf

Just some advice from recent experience to anyone signing up for NBN fixed wireless If the ISP says the speed is limited to 25 mbits down tell them to do better or go away You should be able to get at least 50mbits with a good connection at around $70, and unlimited data
-
💧John (@astir0412) reported from Margate, State of Tasmania
@mana_sean Don't take any **** from these people I put up with telstra for years If NBN provides up to 50 mbits you have a right to have access to it There is lots of competition

@DrKrissyH Just gotten too slow — and don’t offer the higher tier NBN plans
-
Dr Paris Buttfield-Addison 🖋📚 #HeadFirstSwift 🖖 (@parisba) reported from Hobart, State of Tasmania
@shanselman This is trivial in Australia, as our NBN (“national broadband network”) hardware has 4x ports for that specific purpose. No idea for the USA though... 🙃

💧Suzanne Cass ☘️☘️🇮🇪 (@suzanne_cass) reported from Hobart, State of Tasmania
@NickRossTech @NBN_Australia My FTTN is crap. My ADSL was faster.

Queen MaxiTaxi #FreeAssange (@maxitaxi3333) reported from Hobart, State of Tasmania
Exactly, exactly, exactly! If the Labor NBN had gone through, it would be finished by now, NBN FTTP would be there without copper wire problems and, I cannot go on about how bad this decision was. And the cost of FTTP would have been equal to this mess. @TurnbullMalcolm

Winsor Dobbin (@winsordobbin) reported from Cygnet, State of Tasmania
@BethanyinCBR @ScottMorrisonMP Err. The NBN is so slow the country could not sustain online learning.
-
Winsor Dobbin (@winsordobbin) reported from Cygnet, State of Tasmania
A new Space Agency HQ. While hospitals are broken, communities are struggling, the NBN is pathetic and jobs are scarce. Get your head out of your arse @ScottMorrisonMP #LiarFromTheShire #CrimeMinister

@NBN_Australia @Farmgate138 I like that “experiencing some issues” have had NBN for some years now. We quickly found the baseline service was crap and upgraded to the next level - which is great when it works, but reading the fine print, NBN only warrant it will work for 2mins annually
-
Ollie Roberts (@ollie_bo) reported from Hobart, State of Tasmania
@Optus @NBN_Australia Currently on hold to Optus & online chat. We’ve been told the relocation request we put in doesn’t exist, even though it is in multiple chat threads with Optus who said they’d arrange this. They recognised that our service was previously working, just not with the speed boost WTF
-
Ollie Roberts (@ollie_bo) reported from Hobart, State of Tasmania
@NBN_Australia An update: called @Optus who transferred us to @NBN_Australia who then told us that there is an outage in the Sandy Bay (Tasmania) area and that the internet would be on in 4 hours (9pm last night). 9pm has been and gone. Standard troubleshooting, eg reboot hardware, etc & nada!
-
Lee (@furrybearoz) reported from Gardners Bay, State of Tasmania
@NBN_Australia our nbn service has been intermittent for the last 2 or 3 weeks. Is the nbn fixed wireless tower at Lymington Southetn Tasmania being serviced or something
-
Greg C (@TasGreg) reported from Hobart, State of Tasmania
@BevanShields @AntonEnus "But has no modelling to support the claim" Just like Direct Action emission reduction or the cost of ALP NBN or the $660billion ALP debt blowout etc etc #FreePassToBS

A question please for IT professionals. How can I check if my NBN provider has my service set to what I’m paying? I pay for 50/20, NBN box 70m from my door. Rarely get more than 25/15. How can I check? Could the provider have my service set at 25/10? How can I check?

@BNGServerStatus Fnqld Australia here and im experiencing server connection issues. I've cleared cache and reset router, checked nbn and provider status and both are working. Im currently redownloading the 153.954gb since it takes me less than 30mins to reinstall the game.

@douglas70958772 Unfortunately it's a problem with the NBN, so switch providers will probably not fix it when the source itself is fault. Getting a technician called in to hopefully fix it tomorrow

@AlboMP @awscloud “Leader in technology” while still having garbage internet and NBN infrastructure

Change. The Channel 🇦🇺 🇦🇷 (@changeTc_Au) reported
Leader in technology? Here is a list of companies that faced cyber attacks in the last 3 years • Optus • Medibank • MediSecure • Early Settler • Australian Retirement Trust • AustralianSuper • Hostplus • Rest • Insignia Financial • Telstra • National Australia Bank (NAB) • Services NSW • The Australian • ABC • Skeggs Goldstein • Ascot Vale Health Group I struggle to get any reception anywhere in the suburbs. Our NBN service sucks *****. So essentially. You're building homes that only rely on electricity, banning gas.(too busy gifting that resource to other countries) You're putting turbines that don't help the environment and cost way too much to maintain and are not a long-term solution. You're pushing for more solar farms but blanketting the skies with chemicals to block out the sun. You will fry the system. The EV infrastructure can't even handle the demand of vehicles needing a charge. You made a deal with your communist buddies to bring poorly built and copied EVs here, killing any other option or brand to do business in Australia. It is safe to say that you must be the absolute worst prime minister or leader in history.

@AlboMP @awscloud Thanks to the duopoly we spent billions on the slow expensive NBN. That is the Australian way.

@BarbaraPocock Building 50000 houses is a rather strange promise, especially sinc no one has checked the impact on the environmental issues of the area nor the population impact or services needed, gas, elec, sewage, water, phone, nbn mentioning just a few. And thats just one of Albos promises
