  • feelingswell Robert Gavin (@feelingswell) reported from Hobart, State of Tasmania

@NBN_Australia @Farmgate138 I like that “experiencing some issues” have had NBN for some years now. We quickly found the baseline service was crap and upgraded to the next level - which is great when it works, but reading the fine print, NBN only warrant it will work for 2mins annually

  • LilMrPotatoHead Littlemrpotatohead (@LilMrPotatoHead) reported from Hobart, State of Tasmania

@OptusSport We'd love to enjoy @OptusSport however our @Optus nbn is down for 24-48 hours 👍

  • TasGreg Greg C (@TasGreg) reported from Hobart, State of Tasmania

@BevanShields @AntonEnus "But has no modelling to support the claim" Just like Direct Action emission reduction or the cost of ALP NBN or the $660billion ALP debt blowout etc etc #FreePassToBS

  • leah_galvin Leah Galvin 🍎🍒🥑🥦🥕🌽🌰🍓🧀 (@leah_galvin) reported from Hobart, State of Tasmania

Wow an NBN outage down till Sunday 6th October!!! It's school holidays and teenagers are struggling. Oh books and outside look good @Telstra

  • parisba Dr Paris Buttfield-Addison 🖋📚 #HeadFirstSwift 🖖 (@parisba) reported from Hobart, State of Tasmania

@DrKrissyH Just gotten too slow — and don’t offer the higher tier NBN plans

  • ollie_bo Ollie Roberts (@ollie_bo) reported from Hobart, State of Tasmania

@NBN_Australia An update: called @Optus who transferred us to @NBN_Australia who then told us that there is an outage in the Sandy Bay (Tasmania) area and that the internet would be on in 4 hours (9pm last night). 9pm has been and gone. Standard troubleshooting, eg reboot hardware, etc & nada!

  • maxitaxi3333 Queen MaxiTaxi #FreeAssange (@maxitaxi3333) reported from Hobart, State of Tasmania

Exactly, exactly, exactly! If the Labor NBN had gone through, it would be finished by now, NBN FTTP would be there without copper wire problems and, I cannot go on about how bad this decision was. And the cost of FTTP would have been equal to this mess. @TurnbullMalcolm

  • astir0412 💧John (@astir0412) reported from Margate, State of Tasmania

Just some advice from recent experience to anyone signing up for NBN fixed wireless If the ISP says the speed is limited to 25 mbits down tell them to do better or go away You should be able to get at least 50mbits with a good connection at around $70, and unlimited data

  • parisba Dr Paris Buttfield-Addison 🖋📚 #HeadFirstSwift 🖖 (@parisba) reported from Hobart, State of Tasmania

@shanselman This is trivial in Australia, as our NBN (“national broadband network”) hardware has 4x ports for that specific purpose. No idea for the USA though... 🙃

  • furrybearoz Lee (@furrybearoz) reported from Gardners Bay, State of Tasmania

@NBN_Australia our nbn service has been intermittent for the last 2 or 3 weeks. Is the nbn fixed wireless tower at Lymington Southetn Tasmania being serviced or something

  • ollie_bo Ollie Roberts (@ollie_bo) reported from Hobart, State of Tasmania

@Optus @NBN_Australia Currently on hold to Optus & online chat. We’ve been told the relocation request we put in doesn’t exist, even though it is in multiple chat threads with Optus who said they’d arrange this. They recognised that our service was previously working, just not with the speed boost WTF

  • winsordobbin Winsor Dobbin (@winsordobbin) reported from Cygnet, State of Tasmania

@BethanyinCBR @ScottMorrisonMP Err. The NBN is so slow the country could not sustain online learning.

  • winsordobbin Winsor Dobbin (@winsordobbin) reported from Cygnet, State of Tasmania

A new Space Agency HQ. While hospitals are broken, communities are struggling, the NBN is pathetic and jobs are scarce. Get your head out of your arse @ScottMorrisonMP #LiarFromTheShire #CrimeMinister

  • astir0412 💧John (@astir0412) reported from Margate, State of Tasmania

@mana_sean Don't take any **** from these people I put up with telstra for years If NBN provides up to 50 mbits you have a right to have access to it There is lots of competition

  • suzanne_cass 💧Suzanne Cass ☘️☘️🇮🇪 (@suzanne_cass) reported from Hobart, State of Tasmania

@NickRossTech @NBN_Australia My FTTN is crap. My ADSL was faster.

  • greysfan Guy Ⓥ🎗🌱 (@greysfan) reported

Anyone else’s internet down Sawtell Coffs Harbour region? Nbn

  • jackels1 Jacky Forrest (@jackels1) reported

@Optus is there an end in site for the on and off again nbn service in St Clair NSW? Can't watch more than 5 minutes at a time then nothing, frustrating when you also pay for Netflix, Stan etc and can't use any of them, it's been happening for the past week

  • KangarooWill 𝓦𝓲𝓵𝓵 (@KangarooWill) reported

@detispify 15.3.1 not beta Just wanted to see if it was a common issue before testing every possible issue haha I’ve cleared website data, restarted and reset phone as well as network settings. Happens on both Vodafone 4G and Optus NBN It’s a Safari issue no doubt

  • Optus Optus (@Optus) reported

@jowensee NBN are already aware of this and their technicians are working to fix it as soon as possible. Unfortunately, there is no time frame for resolution at the moment. Apologies for the inconvenience and we appreciate your patience. Kartik

  • NBN_Australia nbn™ Australia (@NBN_Australia) reported

@wfmpower Hi Jash, we’re sorry to hear about your experience, it’s definitely not what we’d want for you. So that we can help get to the bottom of this, please contact your provider and request that they perform line testing to see if there are any issues with nbn’s infrastructure? 1/2

  • RobMand_au Robert (@RobMand_au) reported

@NBN_Australia @NBN_Australia let’s be serious here, if u really wanted a fix for 60000+ customers u would not wait to access a 3rd party site and would initiate a work around. Let’s be serious, when u access the site it could be damaged leading to further delays so implement an alternative now

  • MattAppleAdam Matthew Adam (@MattAppleAdam) reported

@Telstra Glad you asked Shannon, 2481 Byron Bay, yes surrounded by towns decimated by floods. With the NBN outage it's created a temporary user overload on 4g? Presume need mobile stations deployed to mitigate load. Everyone switching to Optus sims faster service.

  • MrPatte79195679 Mr James Patterson (@MrPatte79195679) reported

@LocalReason @bill_dobell You're forgetting it's off budget. The future fund is around $210 billion. Why the Labor party when last in government had no problem investing further and taking funds to invest in the NBN, infrastructure etc. It's a model other countries should adopt. A fantastic initiative.

  • stephensc0tt Stephen Scott (@stephensc0tt) reported

@Optus no nbn here in Eltham VIC all day. What is happening? Please don’t refer me to the network status page. I can see that already. It just says reduced service. It should say No Service.
