@DrKrissyH Just gotten too slow — and don’t offer the higher tier NBN plans

  • LilMrPotatoHead Littlemrpotatohead (@LilMrPotatoHead) reported from Hobart, State of Tasmania

@OptusSport We'd love to enjoy @OptusSport however our @Optus nbn is down for 24-48 hours 👍

  • leah_galvin Leah Galvin 🍎🍒🥑🥦🥕🌽🌰🍓🧀 (@leah_galvin) reported from Hobart, State of Tasmania

Wow an NBN outage down till Sunday 6th October!!! It's school holidays and teenagers are struggling. Oh books and outside look good @Telstra

  • TasGreg Greg C (@TasGreg) reported from Hobart, State of Tasmania

@BevanShields @AntonEnus "But has no modelling to support the claim" Just like Direct Action emission reduction or the cost of ALP NBN or the $660billion ALP debt blowout etc etc #FreePassToBS

  • feelingswell Robert Gavin (@feelingswell) reported from Hobart, State of Tasmania

@NBN_Australia @Farmgate138 I like that “experiencing some issues” have had NBN for some years now. We quickly found the baseline service was crap and upgraded to the next level - which is great when it works, but reading the fine print, NBN only warrant it will work for 2mins annually

  • suzanne_cass 💧Suzanne Cass ☘️☘️🇮🇪 (@suzanne_cass) reported from Hobart, State of Tasmania

@NickRossTech @NBN_Australia My FTTN is crap. My ADSL was faster.

  • ollie_bo Ollie Roberts (@ollie_bo) reported from Hobart, State of Tasmania

@Optus @NBN_Australia Currently on hold to Optus & online chat. We’ve been told the relocation request we put in doesn’t exist, even though it is in multiple chat threads with Optus who said they’d arrange this. They recognised that our service was previously working, just not with the speed boost WTF

  • AnthonyPress Tony Press (@AnthonyPress) reported from Tinderbox, State of Tasmania

@NBN_Australia 1. These slow speeds are common across different service providers in the district. 2. The many times I’ve pursued this topic it becomes a duck-shoving exercise: NBN Co. says it’s the service provider; the service provider says it’s lack of capacity at the NBN tower.

  • parisba Dr Paris Buttfield-Addison 🖋📚 #HeadFirstSwift 🖖 (@parisba) reported from Hobart, State of Tasmania

@shanselman This is trivial in Australia, as our NBN (“national broadband network”) hardware has 4x ports for that specific purpose. No idea for the USA though... 🙃

  • ollie_bo Ollie Roberts (@ollie_bo) reported from Hobart, State of Tasmania

@NBN_Australia An update: called @Optus who transferred us to @NBN_Australia who then told us that there is an outage in the Sandy Bay (Tasmania) area and that the internet would be on in 4 hours (9pm last night). 9pm has been and gone. Standard troubleshooting, eg reboot hardware, etc & nada!

  • maxitaxi3333 Queen MaxiTaxi #FreeAssange (@maxitaxi3333) reported from Hobart, State of Tasmania

Exactly, exactly, exactly! If the Labor NBN had gone through, it would be finished by now, NBN FTTP would be there without copper wire problems and, I cannot go on about how bad this decision was. And the cost of FTTP would have been equal to this mess. @TurnbullMalcolm

What else has ABC management not reported on and covered up? The only reason the #NBN issues appeared is because I refused to be silenced at great personal cost. #auspol #abc90

  • NickRossTech nickrosstech (@NickRossTech) reported

'sDespite me exploding Turnbull's "Faster, Cheaper, Sooner" #NBN claims (& being the ABC Tech Editor), the claim was parroted by @abcnews in its 2013 election guide. I asked why. "We did 'he said, she said' to not cause trouble" is what I was told. #auspol #abc90

  • w0lfling Asher Wolfson (@w0lfling) reported

@NBN_Australia I live in North Ryde, our NBN has been down for 12 hours. Your site says it's in your service, but to call our ISP. They say don't know when you'll fix it. So, when do we get our internet back, or should everyone switch to 5G?

  • BernieFlan2293 "Blind Freddie would blush" (@BernieFlan2293) reported

@Ballyurra Tell me about it, jus spent two days juggling hotspot and intermittent NBN connection- no phone. Telco gave me 25gb data and diverted business phone to mobile. Let’s see what tomorrow brings. Still bucketing down @ 2280😬

  • ADG_is_me Alex G (AU version) (@ADG_is_me) reported

The modem is locked down, an NBN product. I'm tempted to say it uses a very low standard for what constitutes 'connected' It could be slower than my router, but it is on the (stupid hybrid cable) physical link so should indicate line is down. Yep, Aussie NBN so crap :(

  • baciamoadesso Maggie Harriss (@baciamoadesso) reported

@PRGuy17 I'm not scratching my head, I'm subject to Sheep Dip Russell as my Federal member. Never seen in my town, I'm stuck with NBN slower than dial up - usual test result under 2. Yes 2. When there's enough band width for it to used at all I get more net time from my $20 mobile dongle

  • lanicolecky Nicky (@lanicolecky) reported

@BelongAU my NBN is down from last night until now and we need to work from home. Please reply.

  • samuelsays11 Sam Walker (@samuelsays11) reported

@michaelsnape I was back in Newcastle when it all was happening - and NBN played a 30th anniversary of the earthquake coverage. Nick Greiner and Bob Hawke were 'holidaying' at the time but flew back that day. 2019 was a bad summer - Morrison should have holidayed, a quick flight from home.

  • drnlws Darren (@drnlws) reported

@Optus Hi guys - 6.5 hours on the phone, 132 support messages, 4 weeks for NBN relocation. Misbooked appointments, staff on your messaging app that say 'I can't help'. How do I get actual customer service?

  • EllisDarryl Darryl Ellis (@EllisDarryl) reported

@FLongshank Do you mean these GP super clinics. Grocery and fuel watch, BER,BATTS,NBN and like a spoilt pup he undermined Gillard his own leader. Then there is ETS Mining Tax and Border protection. #MrKRudd was a special kind of stupid. Recruiting nurses, computers for students, I can go on!
