@Telstra I have spent a lot of time on the phone with the NBN assurance team. I can see that my DM has gone through. I guess it’s time to start exploring other network providers.

@KoparaFallsKid I'm with Aussie Broadband for the NBN. They are based in Victoria. When I call I talk to a person almost immediately, not automation. Since I got set up I've never had to call. If there is an outage coming up or if one is finished they email. It really is excellent service

@AndNowItsTime @NBN_Australia I feel your pain. NBN contractors damaged my unit and then redid the installation by laying cable on the garage floor. You're right about lazy, they take easy way irrespective of what it looks like. I've lodged a complaint but wait with baited breath.

Thoughts on switching to Aussie Broadband? Am with Telstra (on NBN) and the dropouts are ridiculous. Conscious it'll reuse a lot of the same infrastructure but even the customer service has to be better??!

Well it's down to the wire #NBN says we'll be cut off by early November so have to transition. We don't download heaps, occasionally watch Netflix. We have cable so not much will change. Any suggestions folks for a provider #GoldCoast

@gurambae I already use my foxtel cable for the internet (but don't have Foxtel) which is why I'm forced to be with Telstra currently. It will be the same with NBN. Nov is the deadline for me. Having problem choosing a provider

I observe the sending activity blue bar on top on screen and see this goes to sudden stop for moment then it send, indication of possible congestions, or nbn network (a new system network in australia) complications.

The NBN people finally came to get us connected yesterday, the technician said there’s a fault and will be back in a fortnight. There’s much bigger issues now, I literally was faced with 1st world problems- only to realise there’s a humanity problem right now.

@Optus is just the worst NBN provider. It has taken 5 days and almost 2 hours on hold to cancel my service with them. You really get to see the true side of a service provider when you leave them. Optus is crap.

@PaulFletcherMP I live in #Reid and my unit is not connected to the NBN. In fact, there isn't even a cell tower in my suburb so connection to telco network is appalling. When govt sold off Telecom, we were promised everyone would get access to telecommunications. Still hasn't happened.

@BelongAU I can't, online it says I can, NBN says I can, but there is no option to crossgrade the current ADSL2+ plan to NBN, on the portal. I can't send you a message because your replies go to my sisters email. Not mine. So can someone please call me? Or fix it?
