@KoparaFallsKid I'm with Aussie Broadband for the NBN. They are based in Victoria. When I call I talk to a person almost immediately, not automation. Since I got set up I've never had to call. If there is an outage coming up or if one is finished they email. It really is excellent service

@gurambae I already use my foxtel cable for the internet (but don't have Foxtel) which is why I'm forced to be with Telstra currently. It will be the same with NBN. Nov is the deadline for me. Having problem choosing a provider

The NBN people finally came to get us connected yesterday, the technician said there’s a fault and will be back in a fortnight. There’s much bigger issues now, I literally was faced with 1st world problems- only to realise there’s a humanity problem right now.

Well it's down to the wire #NBN says we'll be cut off by early November so have to transition. We don't download heaps, occasionally watch Netflix. We have cable so not much will change. Any suggestions folks for a provider #GoldCoast

@AndNowItsTime @NBN_Australia I feel your pain. NBN contractors damaged my unit and then redid the installation by laying cable on the garage floor. You're right about lazy, they take easy way irrespective of what it looks like. I've lodged a complaint but wait with baited breath.

@andy_penn $tls is a doomed investment entity! It’s unsustainable to charge a higher price for an inferior product! Telstra’s special skill is to charge twice for the same nbn or phone line or even entertainment AND make it impossible for customers to get any customer assistance!

Thoughts on switching to Aussie Broadband? Am with Telstra (on NBN) and the dropouts are ridiculous. Conscious it'll reuse a lot of the same infrastructure but even the customer service has to be better??!

@NBN_Australia What are you going to do about this ? I’ve no $$ for employing anyone to do it I’m a dis pensioner $400 per wk doesn’t stretch to luxuries like employing tradesmen if I can’t fix it stays broken 😞 my service is not broken it’s been poorly installed .. your fault not mine .

@NBN_Australia They have said they will update me when you update them. But July is surely just a made-up date and you are required to supply the service so the provider is not left facing the blame for a problem your people created?

@NBN_Australia Given the disastrous flooding in the Northern Rivers, and complete failure of the NBN when it was most needed, could I suggest prioritising FTTN to FTTP upgrades to this region? An injection of capital would speed recovery and support local communities when we need it most.

Hey @NBN_Australia your outages page is asking me to solve a picture CAPTCHA that doesn’t resize for my mobile device and is therefore impossible to complete … just the extra frustration I appreciate during service degradation

@cathywilcox1 Made the mistake of answering the landline. Had 4 calls that day from a recorded message saying my NBN would be cut off. We just let it ring out. Down to 1 call a week now.

maybe it was good @NBN_Australia went down for 2 or 3 days so I could give #4G a good try out and with so much data I have no extra cost for better speed and less latency meaning my Windows 11 computer generally operates better with faster network though still needs tabs closing

@NBN_Australia I know that Alicia and while I appreciate that it is not your fault I have been stuffed around since I was due for FTTP in 2013 and all I am seeing now is Perth getting service while the regional areas suffer, this is not happening over east.
