I’ve been advised it’s possible NBN Co will cancel and rebook the technician, just to amend the address on the job. An address they were given documentation to amend at least a month ago, and which I was assured occurred.

@Telstra After not getting service 2yrs I’ve paid for full package, foxtel which I rarely can use cause there is no internet .. after 22 yrs of being a customer they said I have 2 choices .. wait 3-4 months for nbn to be connected and get $20 off my bill ... or leave !!!!!

  • amassedmedia Emma D'Agostino (@amassedmedia) reported from Bendigo, State of Victoria

My home NBN connection went down sometime between 2am and 8.30am on Monday. The internet is still out, more than 24 hours later. I don’t know why or when it will be back. I live less than 10 minutes out of the Bendigo CBD.

  • coelmay Coel (@coelmay) reported from Bendigo, State of Victoria

Using an @nokia 2.3 on the @amaysimAU (@Optus) network, regularly get (much) better @Speedtest results than using same device on @NBN_Australia networks.

  • KeithMacqueen Keef (@KeithMacqueen) reported from Bendigo, State of Victoria

@Hammyhamster10 @TurnbullMalcolm Having a great time with the NBN getting choked and my connection all but disappearing. All the while being told the NBN isn’t down by Telstra. Joke - and a pretty poor one at that.

@TPG_Telecom It’s been rescheduled for another day. Tell me why I waited from 1pm-7:30pm today for a technician to come fix my nbn. No communication whatsoever that there was a cancellation. Called severally and all they said was keep waiting. Very frustrating and disappointing!!

  • akhempet Tanya (@akhempet) reported

@isaacjroberts I use TPG - me doing research and kidults streaming movies and games at the same time - no issue whatsoever. I need to stress I have NBN.

  • JoeMonday42 Joe Monday (@JoeMonday42) reported

@TheFogOfEnmity @AlboMP @AustralianLabor NBN was the brain fart… it never should have been attempted by Govt with any technology because tech changes so rapidly… even fibre is fast becoming obsolete…

  • bushcarer17 Richard Williams (@bushcarer17) reported

@FergusHancock @MrKRudd @KenShabby67 I recall that fabulous economic manager named Malcolm bloody Turnbull leading the charge over how bad Labor's response to the GFC was! NBN disaster, Uluru statement from the Heart utter dismissal to name a couple more! He was a disaster!

  • niall_bigscreen Niall Ginsbourg (@niall_bigscreen) reported

@NBN_Australia Not sure what you are missing here. The problem was on NBN side, not fault on ISP side (which our ISP would have published). For these NBN side faults, customers rely 100% on NBN to update the outage/fault status page so they *don't have to waste time ringing their ISPs*.

  • MrElectricNick Nick (@MrElectricNick) reported

@DavidS1247 @snish04 @MrKRudd Not sure if you know this, but if they laid off any of labor’s debt the national debt would go DOWN not UP. And paying for the bloated NBN that libs promised would be cheaper, faster, and finished quicker than the original idea. All three of which didn’t happen.

  • raquelpalas Raquel Palas (@raquelpalas) reported

@Optus 4. 5G service not working at home (although we checked that before) 5. They tell me to change to NBN 6. I change to NBN and they schedule an appointment with a technician 7. I receive reminders of that appointment (today 13:00-17:00) 8. Nobody shows up ...

  • xssfox xssbnuny (furdu soon?) (@xssfox) reported

urgh, to be more clear. Currently with TPG FTTB which does not offer IPv6. I'd have to sign up a new NBN co service to get IPv6. I could cancel the TPG service, so difference would be $40. but TPG service is much better/faster

  • JoeMonday42 Joe Monday (@JoeMonday42) reported

@TheFogOfEnmity @AlboMP @AustralianLabor Because we were forced on to it… I lost my cable connection that I had for 20 years and worked perfectly… & my streaming service is now delivered by satellite… as I said… NBN is a white elephant…

  • DodoAustralia Dodo (@DodoAustralia) reported

@The_Bajman Hey Marty, we understand it's frustrating to be without service. Our team was in touch earlier and it seems that your mobile is fully working now. Unfortunately, we'll still need to wait for NBN for updates on your connection but please be assured we're working on it. - Gwen
