Keef (@KeithMacqueen) reported from Bendigo, Victoria@Hammyhamster10 @TurnbullMalcolm Having a great time with the NBN getting choked and my connection all but disappearing. All the while being told the NBN isn’t down by Telstra. Joke - and a pretty poor one at that.
-
Coel (@coelmay) reported from Bendigo, VictoriaUsing an @nokia 2.3 on the @amaysimAU (@Optus) network, regularly get (much) better @Speedtest results than using same device on @NBN_Australia networks.
-
Emma D'Agostino (@amassedmedia) reported from Bendigo, VictoriaMy home NBN connection went down sometime between 2am and 8.30am on Monday. The internet is still out, more than 24 hours later. I don’t know why or when it will be back. I live less than 10 minutes out of the Bendigo CBD.

Geoff Day (@GeoffDay4) reported from Bendigo, Victoria@mheywood88 @JohnRHewson I had that problem in my old address. One of the pits was at the bottom of a hill, so it filled with rain water. Each time, a tech would advise that the pit was OK (when it wasn't raining) It only got fixed when NBN crew broke the pit requiring it to be rebuilt ....

Emma D'Agostino (@amassedmedia) reported from Bendigo, VictoriaI’ve been advised it’s possible NBN Co will cancel and rebook the technician, just to amend the address on the job. An address they were given documentation to amend at least a month ago, and which I was assured occurred.

TPG (@TPG_Telecom) reported@RenshawTrent It is unfortunate to know that you are not getting a good speed with your NBN service. If you are a TPG customer, may we ask that you DM us your customer ID or TPG username so we can investigate your issue? -Mel

ben (@bzdavidson) reported@TPG_Telecom @NBN_Australia Complete joke How is it even legal to charge money for your service? If I worked like the nbn I’d be fired! #nbnfail
-
Darryl Bain (@DarrylBain1967) reported@SkyNewsAust They already stuffed the roll out. It's a bit like the NBN roll out, a SLOW, overcomplicated and unfolding unmitigated failure. The floods make for a good scapegoat, they'll blame the delivery that was destined for Adelaide but ended up in Perth.🙄 We see what you're doing Sky!
-
oldefellah52 (@oldefellah52) reported@Josieamycashman @MrKRudd There were already faster internets in place. NBN installed their own crap next to it. Australia is a technological backwater. India has a cheaper faster services.
-
Peter Klages (@PeterKlages) reported@NBN_Australia NOTE: @NBN_Australia is very good on the PR prompts up front, but when you try to deal with them in facts they very quickly withdraw and ignore you. The NBN satellite service is inadequate. I’m 165km from Melb CBD yet I get the same internet as someone in Central Australia.
-
Nathan Scannell (@NathanScannell) reported@damienpbuckley @MRowlandMP Definitely do that... They absolutely must take you seriously. DM me if you get stuck. I have back channels to use but I am bound by all the same legislation. FWIW Tangerine have known problems with their NBN wholesale agreement.
-
Smoke and Mirrors (@James71417091) reported@RobynChristofi1 @MRowlandMP FTTN It's still using the old Telstra copper in your street that will never get better. Even if you have new copper, every time it rains and a Telstra/NBN pit floods in your street you will get a dropout. Fibre was cheaper and faster will little to no faults. Crazy LNP/AUS

Noely ⚡️🏐 (@YaThinkN) reported@scotthill222 That sums up this government really well. Though to be fair, ALP (apart from nbn) were just as bad. How could we forget Conroy and his stupid bloody internet filter he wanted ARGH!
-
MiaFerreira (@MiaFerreira) reported@Optus Finally getting NBN - yay! BUT have been asked to pay a cancellation fee (we never asked to cancel - got told that we had to wait for NBN equipment to become available again) plus the installation, AND we can't keep the same home phone number either apparently!! 🤦

Robyn Christofides (@RobynChristofi1) reported@James71417091 @MRowlandMP It’s raining heavily right now! NBN Co. are always out fixing it. Several times a week I get the message that they are switching us to wireless because the network isn’t working. It’s a total dog’s breakfast. So much for high-speed Internet every Australian.
