Using an @nokia 2.3 on the @amaysimAU (@Optus) network, regularly get (much) better @Speedtest results than using same device on @NBN_Australia networks.

@cathywilcox1 Contacting the real NBN ain’t easy either. It took me a week to persuade Telstra my NBN was stuffed and another week for someone from NBN to fix it. No Net for a fortnight isn’t acceptable these days. Everyone (almost) relies on it.

A messy wholesaler>retailer interface and customer service falling through the cracks was a feature of the pre-NBN telco industry. It was known to be bad for all concerned. It hasn't been fixed. Yet connectivity has only become more important in that time.

@joshgnosis I was offered a 6-month free upgrade to 250 Mbps (from 100 Mbps). Only problem was we finally got a wee bit closer to to the 100 Mbps we’d been paying for all along. And still slower than when we paid 1/3 less before the bloody NBN.

@MaggieDaWitch The plot thickens. I don’t have the app; they are mentally beyond me. I just do it on an iPad. With slow NBN.

@Optus @NBN_Australia It’s a network outage. I’ve been texted. Just disappointing in the timing.

Is anyone else having as many speed issues and frequent drop outs as we are on @Optus NBN? Pretty much over it at this point. Impossible to get anything done when your supposed highest speed connection can’t even load the Speedtest website.

@Telstra NBN connection goes down like every 2 weeks. Get the same old scripting from Telstra. Then get told use my 4G till the NBN is fixed. What a waste of time u throttle the speed down to nothing, useless. ADSL was old tech, but it was stable and reliable. Something the NBN is not...

The removal of superflious equipment (boxes, cables, etc) should have been part of the project @NBN_Australia ran. I spent over an hour in an online chat with @Optus to get someone there to understand the issue and book me a tech. And now i'll need to do the same with @Telstra
