@Hammyhamster10 @TurnbullMalcolm Having a great time with the NBN getting choked and my connection all but disappearing. All the while being told the NBN isn’t down by Telstra. Joke - and a pretty poor one at that.

  • amassedmedia Emma D'Agostino (@amassedmedia) reported from Bendigo, State of Victoria

My home NBN connection went down sometime between 2am and 8.30am on Monday. The internet is still out, more than 24 hours later. I don’t know why or when it will be back. I live less than 10 minutes out of the Bendigo CBD.

  • GeoffDay4 Geoff Day (@GeoffDay4) reported from Bendigo, State of Victoria

@mheywood88 @JohnRHewson I had that problem in my old address. One of the pits was at the bottom of a hill, so it filled with rain water. Each time, a tech would advise that the pit was OK (when it wasn't raining) It only got fixed when NBN crew broke the pit requiring it to be rebuilt ....

  • coelmay Coel (@coelmay) reported from Bendigo, State of Victoria

Using an @nokia 2.3 on the @amaysimAU (@Optus) network, regularly get (much) better @Speedtest results than using same device on @NBN_Australia networks.

  • debbiedean1966 Debbie dean (@debbiedean1966) reported from Bendigo, State of Victoria

@Telstra After not getting service 2yrs I’ve paid for full package, foxtel which I rarely can use cause there is no internet .. after 22 yrs of being a customer they said I have 2 choices .. wait 3-4 months for nbn to be connected and get $20 off my bill ... or leave !!!!!

  • amassedmedia Emma D'Agostino (@amassedmedia) reported from Bendigo, State of Victoria

I’ve been advised it’s possible NBN Co will cancel and rebook the technician, just to amend the address on the job. An address they were given documentation to amend at least a month ago, and which I was assured occurred.

  • afvruawake It’s the Society, Stupid. (@afvruawake) reported

@PaulFletcherMP If your mob builds it it would have to be done twice, the trains wouldn’t fit the rails and it would never be fit for purpose, bit like your crap NBN

  • zoo_ruler George Mitri (@zoo_ruler) reported

@RossFloate Why not just fix the NBN instead? Isn’t that where most of the action actually is?

  • vision_iii VISION 🇦🇺 (@vision_iii) reported

@newscomauHQ It was gonna cost $120,000,000,000.00 a decade ago, which interprets to $200,000,000,000.00 in today’s money. That’s 4 times the Cost of the NBN. The project will never happen because the cost/benefit doesn’t stack up, but Albo can virtue signal

  • mccloy_james James McCloy (@mccloy_james) reported

@PaulFletcherMP Submarine contract broken, new subs at unknown cost & years away, car parks that have yet to commence building, an NBN that’s worse that two cans attached by string, JobKeeper that gave $ to profitable companies who didn’t pay it back. Sit down.

  • CalcioTommasino tommasino (@CalcioTommasino) reported

2 hours and 10 minute wait on the phone then the call restarted? Are you joking @Telstra ??? NBN business has been down for 3 hours

  • daniel_valastro Daniel Valastro (@daniel_valastro) reported

@Telstra why have you forsaken me I get stuck inside and my NBN has been throttled to less than 1MB a second and a steady 400 ping… I beg of thee please fix

  • daveysaid David R. Gallagher (@daveysaid) reported

@AlexDunnin @SincDavidson Historical NBN issues: ‘back of envelope’ business case; massive punt taken on technology ignorant of future wireless/satellite technologies; the fibre pathway resulted in significant cost blowouts. Taxpayers deserve cost-benefit infrastructure outcomes unlikely to be ‘disrupted’

  • TheQuietAustra7 Warrior Princess🌸 (@TheQuietAustra7) reported

@Karonleahely @AlboMP The Labor Party Rudd government was elected on 24 November 2007 and initial planning commenced. The NBN was originally to deliver its wholesale service through fibre to the node (FTTN) and reach approximately 98% of premises in Australia by June 2016.😮

  • bemusedoz Graeme Bond 💉💉💉 (@bemusedoz) reported

@Ballyurra @psyclaw @launtel Glad to hear that. My Telstra / NBN internet is now OK, but the installation was a nightmare. My current problem is with my Boost mobile and Telstra provide the fault service as it is there network. Problem reported 7th Dec, still no solution.

  • loflife shire Antifa Antipodean boy (@loflife) reported

@Buttaba01Bell @KleinRevd @tingeling_au I had a coax cable running from the street to my router. NBN insisted on running a copper cable directly beneath the coax from the pole to the router...the installer and I both laughed...he was from India where the service shits on us
