  • amassedmedia Emma D'Agostino (@amassedmedia) reported from Bendigo, State of Victoria

My home NBN connection went down sometime between 2am and 8.30am on Monday. The internet is still out, more than 24 hours later. I don’t know why or when it will be back. I live less than 10 minutes out of the Bendigo CBD.

  • KeithMacqueen Keef (@KeithMacqueen) reported from Bendigo, State of Victoria

@Hammyhamster10 @TurnbullMalcolm Having a great time with the NBN getting choked and my connection all but disappearing. All the while being told the NBN isn’t down by Telstra. Joke - and a pretty poor one at that.

  • amassedmedia Emma D'Agostino (@amassedmedia) reported from Bendigo, State of Victoria

I’ve been advised it’s possible NBN Co will cancel and rebook the technician, just to amend the address on the job. An address they were given documentation to amend at least a month ago, and which I was assured occurred.

Does anyone know how we can get @NBN_Australia to come and investigate our FTTN service? @Aussie_BB have refused to send anything to NBN citing "no proof" despite us upgrading internal wiring, several modems and them still seeing the drop out issues on their end.

  • maz_net_au Maz (@maz_net_au) reported

@NBN_Australia When are you planning to start building the network? I'm getting roughly ADSL2 speeds through the phone lines (FTTN) still. I hope I can get fibre internet to get the kind of speeds available overseas for the last few years.

  • sebastiaan76 Sebastiaan76 (@sebastiaan76) reported

@NBN_Australia @NBN_Australia They've been back, and been out again because each time it rains your pit floods and the 5000 year old copper you use from FTTC to my house causes outages. But apparently I can't even have a Tech come out to assess. @Aussie_BB also not much help. #nbn

  • JCSargeant James Sargeant (@JCSargeant) reported

@NBN_Australia Why does your website say "Planned maintenance is currently taking place" at my address, yet I have an email from my RSP saying "NBN has just let us know that they are doing emergency network maintenance in your area". Some honesty would be appreciated!

  • NBN_Australia nbn™ Australia (@NBN_Australia) reported

@petehanssens if there are any issues with the services the nbn technical support team who monitors these issue will be able to advise your provider, what the specific issue is and help rectify the problem. 2/3

  • Mountaingoat55 Glenn Holmes (@Mountaingoat55) reported

@DrRimmer This failure and the NBN failure would ensure the LNP never governed again if the MSM reported it correctly.

  • NuImmortal nuImmortal (@NuImmortal) reported

Dear @elonmusk please launch some satellites to cover North QLD, Aus. Waited 6 wks for our NBN Sky Muster satdish to be installed. After 3 hours of waiting to talk to our ISP's tech support, found out modem supplied is faulty and now need to wait 2 more weeks. Pls help #disrupt

  • Optus Optus (@Optus) reported

@cjlc1829 Without any further details on your address etc, I am unable to provide further information. However I can advise that NBN equipment/technology is owned and updated by NBN and companies like Optus, are the provider of the service that that technology allows. Casey

@TPG_Telecom Hi there - my NBN home internet seems to be having issues this evening. Was running really slowly when I got home, so I reset the NTD and my router. Now I have no internet - seems to be DNS related? Reset both devices a few times without success. Any advice?

Australia’s PM relied on NBN copper network... coal powered. No wonders we had technical problems... 🙄
