    Using an @nokia 2.3 on the @amaysimAU (@Optus) network, regularly get (much) better @Speedtest results than using same device on @NBN_Australia networks.

    @Telstra After not getting service 2yrs I’ve paid for full package,foxtel which I rarely can use cause there is no internet .. after 22 yrs of being a customer they said I have 2 choices .. wait 3-4 months for nbn to be connected and get $20 off my bill ... or leave !!!!!

    A few month ago I moved home and decided to get nbn via @telstra because I liked the 4G backup option. Long story, which I’ll leave for another time, but eventually they connected me. Great nbn service, terrible 4G backup. Perhaps I should have learned then? 2/🧵

    I point out that I have an email from Telstra saying my nbn service has been activated (and working fine for the last few weeks). TCG says it’s only been activated since 1 May, and that’s not long enough to establish me as a customer (somehow they’ve found my account now). 30/🧵

    @keribear55 The same thing goes for the NBN (National Broadband Network). Tens of billions of dollars wasted, and lost.

    @AmyRemeikis Complain to the Telecommunications Ombudsman - might take a while but you’ll get there in the end - also hit up your NBN service provider for a refund or rebate on your plan for the duration of the problem!

    @normal_ness We’ve ended up cancelling our NBN service altogether while our renovations are happening. Living on wireless 4G until we can get new FTTP later this year.

    @RichardfromSyd1 Indeed, the NBN is some kind of special when it comes to consumer service. Let Aussie Broadband know you've escalated and if no resolution in timeframe complain to Minister and Ombudsmen. Tedious though it is.
