  I’ve been advised it’s possible NBN Co will cancel and rebook the technician, just to amend the address on the job. An address they were given documentation to amend at least a month ago, and which I was assured occurred.

  Using an @nokia 2.3 on the @amaysimAU (@Optus) network, regularly get (much) better @Speedtest results than using same device on @NBN_Australia networks.

  My home NBN connection went down sometime between 2am and 8.30am on Monday. The internet is still out, more than 24 hours later. I don’t know why or when it will be back. I live less than 10 minutes out of the Bendigo CBD.

  @Hammyhamster10 @TurnbullMalcolm Having a great time with the NBN getting choked and my connection all but disappearing. All the while being told the NBN isn’t down by Telstra. Joke - and a pretty poor one at that.

  @Telstra After not getting service 2yrs I’ve paid for full package,foxtel which I rarely can use cause there is no internet .. after 22 yrs of being a customer they said I have 2 choices .. wait 3-4 months for nbn to be connected and get $20 off my bill ... or leave !!!!!

  @mheywood88 @JohnRHewson I had that problem in my old address. One of the pits was at the bottom of a hill, so it filled with rain water. Each time, a tech would advise that the pit was OK (when it wasn't raining) It only got fixed when NBN crew broke the pit requiring it to be rebuilt ....

  @NBN_Australia any update on service outage in Seven Hills/Norman Park in Brisbane, QLD? Your website is lagging and blaming a power outage for the issue. @Energex did their job, we had power back on within 4.5-5 hours, that was yesterday 16/06/26 Still waiting 27+ hours later…

  @Telstra When are you getting us a cell tower @Telstra?? This is dangerous! NBN connections are so bad we had to sign up for Opticomm, which until today, was awesome. But an all day outage and I'm working from my car.

  @TopherField I've been a happy Starlink customer for years, because the NBN was unable to get reliable internet to my house. Each month Elon gets my money, and I get reliable high speed internet. Each month, we are both better off.

We would Reduce ATO staff by at least half over 5 years because flat tax rates will require less compliance staff, and it is essential to reduce the possibility of the tax system regrowing; similarly, scale back agencies such as the Australian Securities and Investments Commission and Australian Competition and Consumer Commissioner and the laws they administer; and sell government business enterprises, including the NBN, ABC, SBS, and the Future Fund, and use the proceeds to pay down debt.   @BanderaBeau @BikoKonstantin1 @AlboMP It doesn’t work because each government is interested in keeping power that the next government wouldn’t implement the next step. Massive changes like this can only get over the line if the solution is obvious & unanimous. Even then one single government can **** things up eg NBN

  @Teh_Jkr @Optus @Optus I have 5 services with Optus and have been a customer for 12 years. My NBN internet has been really poor, yet I’m charged full price with no real offer. As soon as I get time from my busy life, I’ll be switching all my services.
