  • martyvis Martin Visser (@martyvis) reported from Yerrinbool, State of New South Wales

Wakey, wakey, rise and shine @NBN_Australia! It's now 21 days since my service went down and today is the 3rd date you have given my retail provider for restoration. ( No updates as of Friday so we assume all systems go).

  • martyvis Martin Visser (@martyvis) reported from Yerrinbool, State of New South Wales

@mverbloot @NBN_Australia @iiNet I don't think so. I've been delighted with the 50/20 service via copper. But something hit the aerial lead-in cable at 3:30 Monday morning 3 weeks ago. A neighbour on Telstra was restored within days but for some reason NBN can't supply a tech with a ladder ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

  • jackfjack6 Blistering Black Jack - LNP Chasseur (@jackfjack6) reported from Moss Vale, State of New South Wales

Was great try-on other day, April Fools about fixing NBN. Gotta be a big at attack big target for Labor, on nation-wide issue. Guess we will find out soon.

  • martyvis Martin Visser (@martyvis) reported from Yerrinbool, State of New South Wales

@NBN_Australia I spoke to my provider, and they have been told by NBN that there is planned remediation but no ETA. I'm just disappointed that today's visit by NBN wasn't planned properly. I've no medical issues relying on the network, just hoping for service to get my work and relaxation done.

  • jackfjack6 Stiletto Black Jack - Very Unpleasant to Trolls (@jackfjack6) reported from Moss Vale, State of New South Wales

@ShiannonC Squillions. Telstra, NBN and AFP have been aware for at least 4 months. No idea what they done to resolve this scam issue.

@MichaelWestBiz @NBN_Australia @gmclwill Nbn was screwed by the LNP. If labor vision had continued we would all have fttp today. No need to sell an asset that is for the people of Australia. Private= increasing costs and less service.

  • FullerGraeme 💧Graeme Fuller (@FullerGraeme) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@JohnRHewson You must know already that there is no shame in this government. Robodebt, NBN fail, Aged Care NEGLECT, Biodiversity & Extinction shame, all before starting on MDB disaster and ongoing corruption at a level never seen in Australia and an economy fallen from 3rd to 25th in OECD.

  • CloudyDan Dan McLean (@CloudyDan) reported

@ssharwood @NBN_Australia 17 maintenance events this year for me. Several have been multi hours of outage and some a full 10h period. All during the week and during business hours. FFS indeed!

  • Billiegirl0277 Billiegirl (@Billiegirl0277) reported

@MichaelWestBiz @NBN_Australia @gmclwill Im in a newer suburb and we have private service here called Opticomm. Its is more reliable than NBN but downfall is not many ISP and does cost more.

  • Bowragak Marc Gill (@Bowragak) reported

@MichaelWestBiz @NBN_Australia @gmclwill I am still on adsl with a super fast speed of wait for it... 2 megs. . Its painfully slow. The LNP has put Australia into the dark ages when it comes to the internet

  • Mijjy3 🌏☮🐾Hopeful Cynic ♈🌱💧 (@Mijjy3) reported

@MichaelWestBiz @NBN_Australia @gmclwill The ACCC is partly responsible for the need that the NBN is, Rod Sims was quite a vocal opponent of the FTTP model with a single wholesaler, he wanted it split up with different techs so costumers could have a choice. It was clear he never understood the vision

  • piersg የጎቿዪነ ኗዐዐዕዘቿሠ (@piersg) reported

@ssharwood @NBN_Australia Hmmm, I get Optus notifications about NBN maintenance v. often, have never actually experienced any noticeable change let alone an outage. Granted many are overnight, & none of this is a strong predictor for what ur TLS/NBN experience will be.. But I'll be interested!

  • CaponeField MrCapone (@CaponeField) reported

@maz_net_au @NBN_Australia @NBN_Australia, what are we the people you have decided don’t deserve better internet to do if our suburb is not listed in your “evolution” of the network….

  • dave_hand David Hand (@dave_hand) reported

@BrowntownBrew @BelindaJones68 "This mess" as you call it, cut out by far the most expensive part of the NBN- the laying of fibre along every street and up to every dwelling. Your notion that the original FTTP NBN design was cheaper is wrong. Kevin duped you by creating a SOE and hiding the cost there.

  • mathew6789 Mathew Munro - Gov't Policy & Media Critic (@mathew6789) reported

@MichaelWestBiz @NBN_Australia @gmclwill The way the NBN is priced, so that you get four times the speed for around twice the price, the poor are being forced to subsidise the rich.
