    Was great try-on other day, April Fools about fixing NBN. Gotta be a big at attack big target for Labor, on nation-wide issue. Guess we will find out soon.

    @NBN_Australia I spoke to my provider, and they have been told by NBN that there is planned remediation but no ETA. I'm just disappointed that today's visit by NBN wasn't planned properly. I've no medical issues relying on the network, just hoping for service to get my work and relaxation done.

    My WIFI swiched back to the NBN router - I wish it wouldn’t do that without asking! - but service is back, ping time now down to about 57ms. I didn’t think it could last. It would HAVE to be on an SLA, and an outage like that would be getting EXPENSIVE for the offending provider

    @iiNet Liz, sorry but I have dealt with numerous different staff over the past 2 weeks with an unacceptable level of service. It’s such a shame you’ve moved escalations offshore. I will be leaving iiNet when I am able to get nbn installed.

    My wireless NBN is running a ping time to 8.8.8.8 of ~1.5 seconds, with 25% dropouts. Restarted everything, no better. BUT, switching to Optus 4G, average 138ms round trip, but STILL drop-outs. I suspect it’s a local problem, and all going through local Telstra infrastructure.

    Vodafone ping time down to a mean 50ms - about what I’d expect from NBN, when playing nicely. Not going to bother reporting this - reckon someone isn’t making SLA, so will be getting expensive, so hopefully a fast (overnight) fix.
