@mverbloot @NBN_Australia @iiNet I don't think so. I've been delighted with the 50/20 service via copper. But something hit the aerial lead-in cable at 3:30 Monday morning 3 weeks ago. A neighbour on Telstra was restored within days but for some reason NBN can't supply a tech with a ladder ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Wakey, wakey, rise and shine @NBN_Australia! It's now 21 days since my service went down and today is the 3rd date you have given my retail provider for restoration. ( No updates as of Friday so we assume all systems go).

@NBN_Australia I spoke to my provider, and they have been told by NBN that there is planned remediation but no ETA. I'm just disappointed that today's visit by NBN wasn't planned properly. I've no medical issues relying on the network, just hoping for service to get my work and relaxation done.

@NBN_Australia Thank you. My ISP advised the 4th revised estimated date is on/before August 6. This will be 8.5 weeks outage if fixed by that date. Estimate means no guarantee it will be fixed within this timeline. How do I know this date won't pass again without nothing done.

@PaulMeekPerth Coming in a bit left of field here, but I used to live in her electorate. What's she doing about the total lack of decent access to ANY internet service? The NBN alternatives are super expensive and extremely limited in rural Australia.

@iiNet, since yesterday we have had a NBN outage, got a message this morning that NBN issue has resolved, restart the NBN box, so restarted it optical light is still red.called your tech support they said that no one can look at it until Perth 8am thats when their shift starts.

@NBN_Australia one genuine question: apparently because of the lockdown in Wollongong, NBN cannot send out a technician! I thought you are an essential service?! Also, the technician needs to check out the lines and wiring, etc. and they have no contact with a person. why can’t they work?

@cheryl_kernot There's a huge tradie shortage in my NSW regional area right now. In my village of about 250 houses, 90 burnt down NYE 2019. About 10 or more are currently under construction. People from all over are here. Our NBN workers were coming from WA.

@devec0 Dark fibre is a poor choice of words, residential private fibre to the premise where I couldn’t switch providers because there was no other comms to the building. I’d complain about the monopoly, but the service was otherwise good and cheaper than NBN..
