  • martyvis Martin Visser (@martyvis) reported from Yerrinbool, State of New South Wales

Wakey, wakey, rise and shine @NBN_Australia! It's now 21 days since my service went down and today is the 3rd date you have given my retail provider for restoration. ( No updates as of Friday so we assume all systems go).

  • martyvis Martin Visser (@martyvis) reported from Yerrinbool, State of New South Wales

@mverbloot @NBN_Australia @iiNet I don't think so. I've been delighted with the 50/20 service via copper. But something hit the aerial lead-in cable at 3:30 Monday morning 3 weeks ago. A neighbour on Telstra was restored within days but for some reason NBN can't supply a tech with a ladder ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

  • martyvis Martin Visser (@martyvis) reported from Yerrinbool, State of New South Wales

@NBN_Australia I spoke to my provider, and they have been told by NBN that there is planned remediation but no ETA. I'm just disappointed that today's visit by NBN wasn't planned properly. I've no medical issues relying on the network, just hoping for service to get my work and relaxation done.

  • Skoeman74 Ross Jackson (@Skoeman74) reported

@NBN_Australia The problem has always been your infrastructure. Nothing my provider can do. They've got to use what they've been given. Which is Fixed Wireless. It's not fit for purpose.

  • rick_rampal ✳✳✳ Rick Rampal Senior Sewer Rat! (@rick_rampal) reported

@RobertCawood2 @TruthdriverOn What about NBN routers? Basic communications? Auto-dialer heart monitors? Someone is in cardiac arrest and the phone doesn't work because there's no power. Do these people really understand what's at risk here? Lives are at risk.

  • cedunasa Brian (@cedunasa) reported

@gtbranford @smudge_green left school at 15 and joined RAN never been out of work and at 67 the NBN people begging me not to retire. No super on a minimum pension only of $400 a month because I built up a couple assets through 52 years hard work hopefully I die before the money runs out not complaining 🙃

@lucrious Hi Luke, sorry to hear about your internet connection issue. Can you please direct message us to confirm which internet service is this in regards to, I mean 4G home internet, 5G home internet or NBN home internet? Kartik

  • Skoeman74 Ross Jackson (@Skoeman74) reported

@NBN_Australia This is the issue, I'm hardly rural. I live 2km from the Lara city centre, but have still been saddled with this piece of **** technology. I'm paying the same price as a friend who has a 1G/b connection. How is this fair? All because I lost the postcode lottery.

  • lawksland Lachlan Williams (@lawksland) reported

I think the workers up and down my street this week have been installing NBN fibre!

  • GobsmackedAus Gobsmacked (@GobsmackedAus) reported

@tinettitv @C73300833Clark @knnott Imagine if comm bank and telstra were still in govt hands. NBN would of never had to happen as all that work would of been done anyway. Banks would have to compete with a govt guided bank. We have been screwed by successive LNP govts. Privatisation never good for the people.
