@NBN_Australia I spoke to my provider, and they have been told by NBN that there is planned remediation but no ETA. I'm just disappointed that today's visit by NBN wasn't planned properly. I've no medical issues relying on the network, just hoping for service to get my work and relaxation done.

Was great try-on other day, April Fools about fixing NBN. Gotta be a big at attack big target for Labor, on nation-wide issue. Guess we will find out soon.

@carolduncan @NickRossTech At the risk of sounding like an Elon boy, he did get a lot of things right that Sky Mustard screwed up. that's why his Starlink is eating into NBN's share of Aussie Internet. (I'm not calling it by its proper name, it sucks badly, based on a lot of testimony I've seen)

@NBN_Australia My address is 4/18 lather street southport. I receive foxtel through the coaxial cable network, a foxtel technician has visited my premises because many of the ch i pay for are not available, signal strength is "low" do you maintain this network or telstra

@carolduncan @NickRossTech As proof of this abysmal service I am now paying 50 bucks a month for a 4G modem as backup for the weeks when the #NBN isn’t working

@redruby17 Yes. Not terrible issues but momentary outages/very poor speeds/general crankiness has been a theme the last few weeks in both 4G and NBN

@NickRossTech @maire19 @carolduncan yes - on fixed wireless nbn in the bush. So unreliable - the towers are getting faster but they are chained together with no back-up power. If one tower goes down, the following towers all stop working. It was a disaster in the fires a few years ago. zero redundancy - crap.

@OurNewHomecoach One. Livid ****** (is that two). Internet severed 9:10am yesterday during NBN upgrade. 145 minutes wasted getting @Telstra to understand that no matter how many times I turn the modem on & off, that will not fix a severed cable. But 👏to Tara from Townsville who understood.

@redruby17 Yes. Today, both NBN and mobile with either drop outs and reductions in speed. Last 2 weeks, sporadic NBN with both drop outs (loss of modem lights) and reductions in speed. Sick of being told to, "Turn modem off and on. See no problem, all fixed". It's sporadic 😑.

Today, #iiNet cancelled our #NBN plan "by mistake", then had the audacity to tell us we would need to prepay for a new service, which would take 12-24 hours to connect. The customer relations person went off to "finalize" our "old" account with billing and promised to call 1/?

@bradsprigg It's true, but NBN satellite has the same issues. They're generic satellite internet problems.
