Although my understanding is that’s it’s an NBN outage, not a @VodafoneAU outage. So there’s not a lot they can do other than tell me there’s an outage. Which they did. Now back to my original request...

still no internet - how long do I have to wait for @Optus to sort it’s operation out. After feeling pushed to switch to nbn within a few months rather than the allowed 18 months, a stuff up with connection dates and now no internet. Rubbish effort Optus. Truly awful

Somehow despite an NBN installer attending, and all the Appropriate Lights being lit, the service is still "in progress" and therefore my grandparents still have no internet 2 weeks after moving.

@redruby17 Besides the NBN itself look out for really poor Road works, shoddy pavement repairs, ugly/poor cabling installation on buildings. (My NBN is with Telstra “Hybrid Fibre Coaxial” and have no issues with service/speeds)

@Telstra Prior to October our signal strength was a bit stronger. After a neighbour had issues with NBN & had a technician do some work our signal strength became non existent.

@Telstra The Telstra outage page was useless (all green) as for NBN my contract is with Telstra not NBN your broadband support should be aware of underpinning service outages and provide actual support rather than suggesting factory resets

@abrasion @solo_dio_ That depends where you are, a lot of places with rusted copper wire get crap speeds on nbn. And then there are us people in the country that never had adsl, don’t have nbn and wil NEVER get it and only had 3G and now 4g lte. Some may some day get 5g

@Optus Been with optus for over 7 yrs. Try to upgrade NBN and ask about fetch tv. All consultant has diff answers!! Finally gave up on that. For mobile without asking my choice for physical sim or esim. Ordered physical sim so i lost network right middle of the call!! Wow!!

@NBN_Australia AND ONCE AGAIN, the NBN has collapsed. This is totally unacceptable for a Telstra Business system. We will be down for 3 days. That means our clients cannot reach our servers. Unacceptable NBN. Please advise.
