@Optus hey hey, I'm in Brunswick West and have been having NBN drop outs for nearly a week now, terrible wifi speeds while sitting right next to the modem, one person can stream while the other struggles, I've restarted NBN box and router multiple times. What's up?!

@TPG_Telecom @NBN_Australia 11 days no internet, 4 no show technician appointments. Customer service people sounding nervous and refusing to refer to anyone who can do anything other than offer us another meaningless appointment. What’s going on?

@AboutIndia My apartment building can't get the NBN even though our street has it. Cancelled the wired internet service a few months back because it was so slow and switched to Optus 5G broadband. Literally 2 blocks from 2 different 5G towers but modem just disconnects.

Power is out. Wild weather in Melbourne. Happy I could get to my NAS for a proper shut-down on backup UPS power to save myself a 3 day volume rebuild/consistency check! Dream machine is still running but the NBN fibre connection box does not have a UPS backup on it...

I don't understand Dave Sharma most of the time. Being let down by the **** NBN whilst explaining how his government hasn't had a ****** failure addressing Covid is just ironic.

Hey @Optus I’m getting daily dropouts with HFC NBN. The support team have been unhelpful. Concierge service is useless. I keep asking them to log a request with NBN but they keep giving excuses. On the one occasion a ticket was logged, they closed ticket immediately.

Could @Telstra be any more useless.... Our NBN has had issues for over a week, spent a day at home for a technician that never showed up. Had multiple calls dropout/hung up on. So over it. Time to find another provider. Recommendations? #NBN #Internet

Any suggestions for NBN provider in inner nth Melbourne? @Optus 5G is fast ... when it works. Which is less and less. I've wasted dozens of hours & $$$ on this **** service which was dodgy from beginning. Think the Nokia modem is the problem. But support is almost non existent

It's not just gamers clogging up the NBN. We're all to blame really. By using the NBN, we are obviously ruining a brilliant system and preventing it from reaching its true potential. I can see that now. I feel awful...

@Gizmodo wait for the aus gov to smother it to the point of being unusable to save face from their disaster of an NBN network. Speeds will only improve with StarLink, while the NBN will continue to refuse to lift caps. No wonder ISPs are going dark fibre networks to lift speed caps

@crosstalksol Same conversations are being had in Australia. The national broadband network (sic) has been whittled down to a shell of its intended goals and now is a medium sized white elephant. If people run from the NBN's over priced/subscribed satellite service, they'll be in deep doo-doo.

@NikkiTeeuw @Telstra Frankly, I think @Optus could give it a run for its money. Two of us working from home, needing to attend video meetings, the NBN off more than its on, and a pathetic level of communication and support. Argh!
-

@IttssMattthew I had reason to go through them about 7/8 years ago and they were quick and got the issue resolved brilliantly. However since then I suspect that they’ve had their resources reduced by successive LNP Governments and their workload increased by NBN ***** ups.

@GrogsGamut @Telstra Spent last year dealing w/ NBN & Telstra 4 office. Finally emailed my local Lib MP, suddenly gold service. But straight back to pumpkin after. There's an internal Telstra plan to end all "talk" comms by 2022. One told me the name of the plan, have it in some chat log I saved.
