    @NBN_Australia why is it so difficult to get issues rectified? I’m stuck in a loop between you and @telstra. Two years on and our nbn is still slow. It shouldn’t be this difficult.

    Good Q. Down here in Seachange given up on the NBN. Use Telstra 4G box. Not good enough. NBN imposed.

    @Avichaivegas @JakeTurx NBN is such a waste. I am here for 30+ years and seen so many Americans who moved to Israel without any aid from any group (before NBN) who due to finances were forced to leave after learning the language, building businesses, having kids, etc. NBN wouldn't help any of them!

    @DavidJoffe64_2 @drkeithsiau rely on VicEmergency alerts are opt in/out only trouble now it relies on data no nbn here no wifi limited data for mobilenet just switch on to check so wrong to demand people have the latest tech just to get emergency alerts tech fails here +how many network blocked old phones

    I've said time and again that the NBN is a white elephant, and that it would be destroyed by competition... IF competition were allowed. Of course like-for-like competition is NOT allowed... the NBN have a monopoly on wired internet... but guess what? They're STILL being out-competed by the private sector anyway, because wireless technology has come a LONG way fast... After all the tens of billions we've spent, Australia still only ranks 43 on internet speeds (worse on some lists, I'm being generous) and still users are turning to the private sector because the NBN cannot help them where they are. Amazing. Government never makes things better, it only gets in the way of the private sector who WOULD make things better... if the government weren't in the way.

Starlink is the same OR cheaper and gives better service! while our sat service costs a LOT for lousy speeds and is ****** if? it works at all Elon Musk cashes in on Australia’s NBN fail Bush families are being forced to pay the world’s richest man for basic phone coverage, as Australia’s bungled NBN rollout leaves dangerous black spots across the regions.     @TTAlwaysWins I’m pretty sure our issue is water ingress in the pits. When it rains it stops working. The last time it stopped (3rd time in 6 weeks), by the time NBN came to fix it (4 days) it was working again, so they blamed us. But Dodo has line tests showing it wasn’t working and I have photos showing the DSL link not connecting. The NBN is a white elephant. The government needs to sell it now and get whatever it can and move on. I ordered the Starlink dish the same day I booked the NBN repair. The dish came the same day as the NBN tech.

    @jarro56 @isaacfloyd13 The NBN was flawed from the start but it sounds good so it had widespread public support. High speed internet would have been delivered by private sector with some govt support for rural Australia & it would have almost certainly been done quicker & cheaper.
