@Optus I am an Optus customer. The caller didn't claim to be from Optus. Since I recently received a couple of text messages from Optus regarding NBN maintenance in my area it seemed unlikely that they would be followed by a threat to terminate my connection

@NBN_Australia So can I regard this maintenance as essential or is it non-essential but not limited? Optus says it is to get more customers into the network. And you can’t do it overnight or at the weekend?

@Telstra You just put my nbn bill up. I can’t cancel within contract without a penalty but you can put prices up. When the contract expires you will lose a 20 year customer. Mobile and internet. So long. Never to return

@ChristineEwing7 ETS was as terrible as the mining tax nothingburgers, NBN was gutted, NDIS is getting privatised. I'm sorry but none of that stuck because they kept bending over to get it done.

@Eli89637688 @beneltham My field of expertise - he inherited a company looking to build a world class fibre network, and he crippled it by utilising a mashup of ageing technology with bandaid solutions. The NBN is now spending more money to upgrade the ageing tech to what was originally being built.

@rwa_aust @stava61 @PRGuy17 It took almost a decade of screwing around and significantly more $$$ to provide a service that still doesn't provide the coverage, stability or level of service that the initial plan and roll-out of the NBN did. It is one of the greatest rorts in our nation's history.

@geoffrey_payne Don't agree on NBN,that was a manipulation by Telstra to obtain $10 Billion for the use of the Copper in preference to Fibre. If Telstra maintained the customer on any Copper ADSL service, other providers would be barred from taking it(law).Fibre was a detriment to Telstra revenue
