  • 476a803ed32c438 Peter Ison (@476a803ed32c438) reported from Tweed Heads, State of New South Wales

@Telstra no NBN connection and 4G extremely slow at Banora Point

  • Gary_AE Gary Austin-Eames (@Gary_AE) reported from Gold Coast, State of Queensland

@Telstra no one ever did get back to me on why the 4g and 5g service is so shite where I live. 3 towers within 2.5km and a dozen within 5km but I still need to use wi-fi calling to guarantee calls getting through. Makes the 4g backup on my nbn modem useless.

  • JackieHeg JayemH 😷💉💉💉 (@JackieHeg) reported from Tweed Heads, State of New South Wales

@Narty0071 Just one spot on site where the phone works! No rain so come down to call my daughter and whoo hoo internet working! NBN down, heaven knows when it will be sorted.

  • sacarlin48 🔥 Anne Carlin (@sacarlin48) reported from Gold Coast, State of Queensland

@KoparaFallsKid I'm with Aussie Broadband for the NBN. They are based in Victoria. When I call I talk to a person almost immediately, not automation. Since I got set up I've never had to call. If there is an outage coming up or if one is finished they email. It really is excellent service

  • fifimurray2 fifimurray (@fifimurray2) reported from Gold Coast, State of Queensland

@AlboMP Don’t you just love spending “other people’s money” @AlboMP? The trouble is the NBN isn’t “free” at all. Hardworking taxpayers foot the bill for this rubbish. Have some respect for those who pay your salary.

  • sweatandiron Andrew Mackey (@sweatandiron) reported from Gold Coast, State of Queensland

@suspectandy Yeah man. NBN is good to go but there’s a connection problem out on the street. So keen you have no idea lol

  • 75merc Silvester (@75merc) reported from Broadwater, State of New South Wales

Appraisal of accomplishments of the LNP Gov's 9 year reign. Ditched the Price on Carbon', dumped the super profits mining Tax', Spent millions of extra dollars downgrading our NBN'. No wonder we now Have **** Internet, Huge power bills, and mining billionaires who pay SFA tax

  • jomagoo68 Magoo (@jomagoo68) reported from Gold Coast, State of Queensland

@rob_tat Labor never built the NBN. They just planned it on the back of a cocktail napkin

  • Spankyhunter Richard 🌻(spankyhunter) (@Spankyhunter) reported from Gold Coast, State of Queensland

@Telstra good job.. nbn down the entire preliminary final. Useless

  • TangaroaG33K Brad Beadel (@TangaroaG33K) reported from Tweed Heads, State of New South Wales

  • Tayzlor Taylor Schon (@Tayzlor) reported from Gold Coast, State of Queensland

@BrowntownBrew @NBN_Australia I don’t respect anyone on here who hides behind an avatar and isn’t their true personage. Troll and suck up on the big nanny state like the ****** you are deep down. You make me ashamed you’re in australia, more of the r selected feckless useless largesse

  • BeachGirlJan JG 🌴⛵🐬🏖🐾🇦🇺 (@BeachGirlJan) reported from Gold Coast, State of Queensland

@NotBillbob2 @Telstra Never heard of them. Do they do the NBN?

  • pkfrancis Paul Francis (@pkfrancis) reported from Gold Coast, State of Queensland

Thoughts on switching to Aussie Broadband? Am with Telstra (on NBN) and the dropouts are ridiculous. Conscious it'll reuse a lot of the same infrastructure but even the customer service has to be better??!

  • singaporedavid1 David (@singaporedavid1) reported from Gold Coast, State of Queensland

@Doc_E_Brown_ @NBN_Australia No. It was to stop the constant downtime with the NBN due to outages and maintenance. The speed of the NBN wasn’t the problem. When you work from home, the NBN isn’t an option unfortunately. Thank god for Starlink.

  • Spankyhunter Richard 🌻(spankyhunter) (@Spankyhunter) reported from Gold Coast, State of Queensland

@Telstra nbn goes down right when the football preliminary starts. Down the whole match so far. Great service. Have to watch on my phone Great service....... not Still down in miami qld Guess your network can't handle finals times

  • Qldstew Bat’s (@Qldstew) reported from Tweed Heads, State of New South Wales

@andy_penn $tls is a doomed investment entity! It’s unsustainable to charge a higher price for an inferior product! Telstra’s special skill is to charge twice for the same nbn or phone line or even entertainment AND make it impossible for customers to get any customer assistance!

  • 75merc Silvester (@75merc) reported from Tweed Heads, State of New South Wales

@THE_Russell Wow. Just when you thought This buffoon Gov. Would never beat Their farcical NBN Catastrophe. $ 80 Billion spend on a system little better than what it replaced? Now Spending double that on Subs that will be obsolete 15 years before they are delivered?

NBN Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • weemadando Anders Russell (@weemadando) reported

@RAOF_47 @Tegan_Writes The issue is that the reason regional Australia doesn't have broadband access is because they gutted the initial NBN roll-out to remove huge swathes of fibre coverage, massively expand fixed wireless, and also cancelled satellite builds to ensure that actually worked.

  • maths_kath Dr Katherine Seaton (@maths_kath) reported

@nomad_penguin With the installation of the nbn last week, people calling us has not been a problem. Nevertheless we should probably get it fixed.

  • madbeau Beau Britton (@madbeau) reported

@NBN_Australia 9 hours it's been down. and I did contact my ISP it's all good there end.

  • pasavito Tony West (@pasavito) reported

@NBN_Australia Thanks for the reply. Can hardly wait for this process, our connection is getting a lot slower. Down from ~40 down a couple of months back to ~31 now. Nothing has changed in my house, presume we’ve got contention issues in the area or faulty cabling after the heavy rain.

  • sexyspanishman Felix (@sexyspanishman) reported

Patiently waiting for the nbn man and trying not to **** my self holy **** I need to diarrhoea that toilet

  • officialdimsim sdimsim (@officialdimsim) reported

Oi @ScottMorrisonMP why ******** am I lagging on COD? Could it be because the NBN is ****?

  • ChrisHadden81 Renton III (@ChrisHadden81) reported

@NBN_Australia Internet is down, just checked NBN site and apparently scheduled maintenance is underway. No notification from NBN co or my ISP. Pathetic.

  • Mazraku Mazraku (@Mazraku) reported

@MyRepublicAU No internet at all. Done all the normal stuff that I’ve been doing in the past but there is no connection from nbn box to router said check cables now it’s saying DNS error. You wanted to charge me $5 to get help??? I pay $110 for 24 hour a day internet

  • rohan_p Rohan Pearce (@rohan_p) reported

@joshgnosis I believe NBN declined to buy the assets previously... At least this way there will be more than one RSP selling services. Plus they're upgrading the network to offer much faster services.

  • DerekRobinson2 💧Derek Robinson (@DerekRobinson2) reported

@chrismurphys @Telstra I had the same problems for two years so as soon as 5G came in I grabbed a 5G phone and use the personal hotspot. Faster and more reliable than their ridiculous NBN.
