@Telstra I have spent a lot of time on the phone with the NBN assurance team. I can see that my DM has gone through. I guess it’s time to start exploring other network providers.

@AndNowItsTime @NBN_Australia I feel your pain. NBN contractors damaged my unit and then redid the installation by laying cable on the garage floor. You're right about lazy, they take easy way irrespective of what it looks like. I've lodged a complaint but wait with baited breath.

I observe the sending activity blue bar on top on screen and see this goes to sudden stop for moment then it send, indication of possible congestions, or nbn network (a new system network in australia) complications.

Well it's down to the wire #NBN says we'll be cut off by early November so have to transition. We don't download heaps, occasionally watch Netflix. We have cable so not much will change. Any suggestions folks for a provider #GoldCoast

The NBN people finally came to get us connected yesterday, the technician said there’s a fault and will be back in a fortnight. There’s much bigger issues now, I literally was faced with 1st world problems- only to realise there’s a humanity problem right now.

@KoparaFallsKid I'm with Aussie Broadband for the NBN. They are based in Victoria. When I call I talk to a person almost immediately, not automation. Since I got set up I've never had to call. If there is an outage coming up or if one is finished they email. It really is excellent service

Thoughts on switching to Aussie Broadband? Am with Telstra (on NBN) and the dropouts are ridiculous. Conscious it'll reuse a lot of the same infrastructure but even the customer service has to be better??!

@gurambae I already use my foxtel cable for the internet (but don't have Foxtel) which is why I'm forced to be with Telstra currently. It will be the same with NBN. Nov is the deadline for me. Having problem choosing a provider

Everybody on the Morn Pen knows how unreliable our NBN connection is. This effects businesses as well as domestic consumers. Labor has a plan to fix our NBN connectivity and has identified Flinders as a priority area. For better NBN vote 1 @SurbhiLabor @MornPenShire

@DianaRyall Try getting it connected! nbn are incompetent, weeks to connect, ridiculous cumbersome process. I tell the service provider there's no connection in house, will need nbn to do full connctn; over five weeks 3 separate tech visits, each do only "their" bit, waiting for fourth tech

@TheKouk While I do agree, we have had 9 year's of LNP who are more interested in culture wars than smart economic management (huge debt, pulled apart NBN, to rebuild at double cost, not fixing elec grid issues for renewables) so you can hardly blame the younger generation for not knowing
