  • katie62750987 katie (@katie62750987) reported from Westfield, State of Western Australia

@Optus I took out a month to month nbn service including a mighty fetch box with multi room mini box and the ultimate channel pack for $104 per month 8 weeks ago. Since then I have had numerous problems getting this service up and running. I have called your technical team many times.

  • TrishKurralinga Patricia Rutherford (@TrishKurralinga) reported from Westfield, State of Western Australia

@davrosz Did anyobe hear that moron #Fifield on @QandA on Monday. Does. Not. Have. A. Clue! Seems to think it is only a handful of people who have NBN problems. Obviously not a twitter user. #Turnbull & @TonyAbbottMHR this is on you, you fools! Negative, know all (& knows nothing) fools!

  • TechManPat TechManPat (@TechManPat) reported from Westfield, State of Western Australia

    Mass NBN outage in #australia #nbnco #nbn

  • annsippe Ann Sippe (@annsippe) reported from Westfield, State of Western Australia

@gabriellechan @mpbowers The resistance to Labor confounds me. The vitriol Tony Windsor suffered because he sided with Labor was ridiculous in the extreme. NBN, school funding and climate change were issues deeply affecting the rural sector.

  • Zarathhustra Tom Yeats (@Zarathhustra) reported from Westfield, State of Western Australia

It means putting money in peoples' pockets so they can support Oz biz by buying stuff from them. All this talk about investing in infrastructure is all very well but if that means washing it down the drain as in the nbn scam or giving it away to Rupie... NO.

  • BenAylett BenAylett.com (@BenAylett) reported from Westfield, State of Western Australia

@NBN_Australia has realised a line has been crossed and is trying pretend it never happened. Remember that this cancerous "organisation" will up for sale soon to the highest bidder looking incorporate a toxic culture that operates with impunity.

  • MattyO_70 Matt O'Neill (@MattyO_70) reported from Westfield, State of Western Australia

@NBN_Australia We are in a new estate only about 10 years old with all new infrastructure put in at build, under 10kms from CBD. Doubtful that is the problem

  • katie62750987 katie (@katie62750987) reported from Westfield, State of Western Australia

@Optus I opened a month to month nbn account with you 8 weeks ago. It included a mighty fetch box account with a multi room mini box and the ultimate channel pack. I have had numerous problems since opening this account. The first problem was the multi room didn’t have the ultimate pack

  • PerthCitizen Coach C 🏀 (@PerthCitizen) reported from Westfield, State of Western Australia

    @AussieBallin @Ronnie2K @Beluba @NBA2K @NBA2K_MyTEAM If you are with @optus nbn - the problem is them not @NBA2K

  • yGrael Gav (@yGrael) reported from Westfield, State of Western Australia

@MichaelPascoe01 Indeed, having the term "service delivery" and NBN connected as 1 context just does not work. Pun intended

  • lettermania luke halden (@lettermania) reported from Westfield, State of Western Australia

@Telstra when it has been over a week that elderly customers can't get online or have a home phone #nbn but support tells them to do the same thing and expect different results #insanity

  • TyrieLinda Linda Tyrie (@TyrieLinda) reported from Westfield, State of Western Australia

@Huw_Merlin @dottigee Ive been getting calls from a woman with a voice like a cadaver who says she's Nicole from the NBN network and I'm about to be cut off.

  • petedavo_au Peter Davidson 🇦🇺 (@petedavo_au) reported from Westfield, State of Western Australia

@NewtonMark I'd wager that the Telstra Gen 2 smart modem is probably the direct cause of network congestion. Nice touch though to hide NBN disconnections with a fallover to 4G

  • TrishKurralinga Patricia Rutherford (@TrishKurralinga) reported from Westfield, State of Western Australia

@cgay_51 @MeckeringBoy Once again the Govt of that day (#Abbott #Turnbull) was uninformed on #NBN #FTTN & therefore so were the voters! #HonestyinGovernment would be a rare treat after more than 9 years of #LNP lies (6+ years as Govt). @jaquix173 @raywilton4 @mikeaubrey2 @Jim_Pembroke @WilmaSlurrie

  • thallam08 Tom Hallam (@thallam08) reported from Westfield, State of Western Australia

@NewtonMark Wireless NBN is a shared media with contention detection. All the issues of a non switched ethernet plus all the issues of wireless.

  • FrChrisBedding Father Chris (@FrChrisBedding) reported from Westfield, State of Western Australia

The fifth day with no internet access, and still trying to convince your staff that the church which has been here since 1925 is not at the address on the account and never has been, that we have neither modem nor NBN and that we really need internet access to do our basic admin

  • _Just ᴊᴜѕᴛɪɴ (@_Just) reported from Perth, State of Western Australia

@reece_wagner I’m getting 16 down with ADSL. @NBN_Australia was due here in Feb. It was changed to August 2020. Now back to May 2019.

@NBN_Australia it’s been 4 months almost without internet, you’ve sent out 1 guy who “looked” at it was here a whole 10-15 minutes asked me if it works I said no and he said don’t worry I can check out here anyways??? Then you send people to “fix” it and nothing has changed. Wtf

  • antintake nono (@antintake) reported

adult things i did not expect to be so challenging = choosing my new nbn provider and trying to figure out who's actually good and what's worth paying for bcs i don't understand anything but my wifi sucks

  • Vickster762 Vicki Lodge (@Vickster762) reported

@reneecarniato Strathfield South High. It was an external NBN broken cable issue so very much out of our control

  • pwoiter Pwoiter (@pwoiter) reported

Hey @NBN_Australia what’s the best way to submit a complaint about your service? The NBN service team has been a no show 5 times in a row which means I can’t work.

  • pwoiter Pwoiter (@pwoiter) reported

@Telstra I just had another call with your support team. @NBN_Australia cancelled their 5th call-out and so we have booked the 6th for tomorrow. I doubt I’ll hear from them if history is a guide.

  • DrMitchellAdam Mitchell Adam (@DrMitchellAdam) reported

NBN having a real normal one with its sixth outage in the first month-and-a-half of 2023 in my part of Sydney’s Inner West.

  • noseratio Andrew Nosenko 🇺🇦 🇦🇺 noseratio@mastodon.social (@noseratio) reported

Google Nest WiFi is good for creating a mesh network, but IMO very mediocre as an #NBN router/firewall. I was having lots of speed & stability issues. External attacks? But there isn't even logs to tell. Until I put it behind my battle-tested EdgeRouter X running #OpenWrt.

  • RedShane1 Red Shane (Senior) *(Not OAM) (@RedShane1) reported

@stilgherrian If this is NBN related, then quite a bit of the blame can be shifted on to them. The actual provider has to prove, beyond doubt, that the fault is the NBN not your's or theirs. Then NBN will schedule a call out .. from their meagre stocks of techs. It sucks!

  • greensinspa BettyG (@greensinspa) reported

Just love the NBN we are lumbered with (not). Telstra did an upgrade several days ago its never been the same since. Today internet speeds download 54.1Mbps upload 0.1 I can't send an email with attachment & don't get me started on banking. Frustrating when you're WFH #auspol

  • Nearemp4 Neare ⛩️ (@Nearemp4) reported

@burrito_boii @SlayDHD i mean if ur from OCE, the lowest it'll go on Singa is maybe 120 if you're from QLD, but i find ExitLag doesnt work with 5g networks and only NBN because of how 5G is setup or whatever, it somehow blocks ExitLag from working
