@reece_wagner I’m getting 16 down with ADSL. @NBN_Australia was due here in Feb. It was changed to August 2020. Now back to May 2019.

I’d like to thank the @NBN_Australia service personnel who decided to “test” my connection, breaking it in the process, and who didn’t think to inform me he was here until *after* he’d started work. Thanks to him, my previously functioning internet connection now isn’t working.

@AdamWesterhout 🪦 RIP any plans you had for the next two weeks, whilst on the phone to hapless call centre workers who know less about how the NBN works than you. I don’t even bother waiting, I just involve the ombudsman after the first call on any telco issue.

@xskinn If the problem is NBN (it is where I live) changing provider won’t help – but having a smart phone means you can use it as a backup router, which is what I do

Suggestions for Federal Govt on #NBN Make 250/100 Mbps the minimum speed requirement on the network. Currently, Avg speed in #Australia is around <60/20Mbps Waive off the outstanding debt of $27Bn and that will enable NBN to reduce the wholesale price to around $20-$25/month/user

Woke up with no internet connection. Checked NBN status and faults and it said my address isn’t connected to the NBN, but my neighbours are. I reckon some idiot technician disconnected my connection by mistake - does that happen? My ISP confirmed fault isn’t my end.

@NBN_Australia @Optus I have been without internet for 3 weeks. Nbn issue on street with no feedback. Just call isp if you have not heard anything. ISP still can’t work this out. How do we get this fixed. I have a reference number I can ping you if interested. It’s 2022

They hung up when I asked for a pgp locked communication from them to verify they aren’t a bunch of shitstains sitting in a shed…
