Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Perth and nearby locations:

  • hewball Brenton Hewitt (@hewball) reported from Perth, State of Western Australia

@decryption i dont have my gpon gear powered on to show you data from the network side, but if any of that isnt correct, nbn could just turn off the port

  • andrewmhenry22 Andrew Henry | yojhi.eth (@andrewmhenry22) reported from Perth, State of Western Australia

@iiNet hi, our nbn is down. Is there an issue?

  • freakboy3742 Russell Keith-Magee (@freakboy3742) reported from Perth, State of Western Australia

@NBN_Australia Let’s be clear - my provider @iinet knows nothing about what is going on. The fact that there was a service technician at my house was a complete surprise to them. And the technician disconnected me *before* letting me know. Glad I wasn’t doing anything important.

  • freakboy3742 Russell Keith-Magee (@freakboy3742) reported from Perth, State of Western Australia

I’d also like to thank the @iiNet support staff out of whom I had to drag every last detail about how the @NBN_Australia fault investigation process would proceed.

  • freakboy3742 Russell Keith-Magee (@freakboy3742) reported from Perth, State of Western Australia

I’d like to thank the @NBN_Australia service personnel who decided to “test” my connection, breaking it in the process, and who didn’t think to inform me he was here until *after* he’d started work. Thanks to him, my previously functioning internet connection now isn’t working.

  • _Just ᴊᴜѕᴛɪɴ (@_Just) reported from Perth, State of Western Australia

    @shibz_1989 @DeadlineDavis @LachlanLachlang @McTez I’m on the NBN 100 and get 93 down and 35 up consistently.

  • _Just ᴊᴜѕᴛɪɴ (@_Just) reported from Perth, State of Western Australia

@reece_wagner I’m getting 16 down with ADSL. @NBN_Australia was due here in Feb. It was changed to August 2020. Now back to May 2019.

  • iTSTO0LATE 🍓 (@iTSTO0LATE) reported

Fuckitg hell man I thought I would have a decent time here but it’s been the worst. Every time my dad complains about something my mum asks me to help him but like I can’t make the internet faster or his laptop stop taking so long to load. I am happy to pay for better nbn (+)

  • BroGalea Jagged (@BroGalea) reported

@BenFordhamLive Haha I heard from an NBN worker that the Company in charge just +25% in all expenses back to the grubbermint. This meant finding the worst purchase and leasing deals to ensure "value add" was the bottom line. Inefficient, incompetent, corruption by legal design.

  • aboz2 andrea boz 🇮🇹 🇦🇺 🇪🇺 (@aboz2) reported

@Urban_Immerser @disco___cat Mate, they won't go broke without NBN subsidising the rural network

  • pieshowrocks1 Gus. (@pieshowrocks1) reported

@Telstra No apparently none of them either but it just won't connect, the NBN was only put on here in February or March when i moved in so I'm not sure if there's an issue there because it hadn't connected to the address before then

  • pieshowrocks1 Gus. (@pieshowrocks1) reported

@Telstra No apparently not,but I'm pretty sure it's an NBN issue a fault somewhere

  • fromthedale Ben (@fromthedale) reported

The NBN really is a piece of ****. They did planned maintenance in my area overnight on Thursday and my service just never came back online. They now need to send a technician. WTF 🤬

  • KayeThetimothy Timothy_kaye (@KayeThetimothy) reported

@_benny4 @BaronBurleigh2 It’s garbage. Bunch of rtards think they can be ISP off the back of nbn. 🤡

  • tearfulxsoul ♥︎ kylah ♥︎ (@tearfulxsoul) reported

@BaronBurleigh2 NBN was behind the times before they even started rolling it out. There are third world countries with better internet than us. It sucks

  • NyenDrach Drach'Nyen (@NyenDrach) reported

@Rubick_dev @kingscoriox Starlink saved me! Not as good as fibre to the house! So I am a little jealous, but without starlink I'd still be using a mobile 5g dongle and 2 bars of service! Struggling to even watch netflix! Australia may as well turn off the rural nbn network. What an embarrassment

  • askinquestions5 askinquestions (@askinquestions5) reported

@clowndownunder So does Carriage Service mean sent over the mobile network? If he used the NBN it would have been OK. That law could do with some improvement don't you think?
