NBN Issues Reports Near St Helena, Victoria
Latest outage, problems and issue reports in St Helena and nearby locations:
-
Gabriel Bergmoser (@gobergmoser) reported from Melbourne, VictoriaTop work from @VodafoneIN: postponing our NBN connection leaving our internet a crawl, not connecting on the rescheduled day (no explanation) and ensuring that their hold music is excruciating and populated with the same irritating messages to make you want to hang up. Brilliant.
-
Craig Hutton (@Hutton_Lab) reported from Melbourne, Victoria@DuttonChemistry @sjwill99 @gnljameson @p_schwerdtfeger A tangential issue, but Oz can never do online teaching properly with our half-baked NBN. 5 people in my house trying to do live sessions on Zoom/Teams through a single (newly laid) coaxial cable doesn’t work. We are ‘lagging’ in so many ways.
-
Vito Doria (@VitoCDoria) reported from Melbourne, Victoria@Optus It's now 36 hours since the NBN has been down.
-
jo girl (@judgejosie) reported from Melbourne, VictoriaJesus. I wouldn't trust any of the LNP with an app that stores my data. The NBN still hasn't arrived here and I am told it sucks.
-
Can’t. Busy washing my hands. (@AntKaplan) reported from Melbourne, Victoria@jono_hayward Gosh they’re expensive. I’d look at Spintel if I were you. Their website UI is simply the worst, but I’m really happy with my NBN service through them, and they have fantastic pricing.
-
Stephanie Johnson (@SeeingWithStars) reported from Melbourne, VictoriaAnecdotally we have a very slow internet The NBN should never have been stepped back Change the management if you must but don’t mess with the plan
-
Kate (@_KGreally) reported from Melbourne, VictoriaThe line is physically broken since @NBN_Australia was installed and no one has been sent to fix it
-
spudgun (@spudhowley) reported from Melbourne, Victoria@NBN_Australia ..pretty critical service, without having any say in the matter, is extremely frustrating. We just want our old Cable back.
-
Graham W Kidd (@grahamwkidd) reported from Melbourne, Victoria@NBN_Australia I'm currently working with 13 22 00 to figure out why NBN is not working. There is no smooth sailing.
-
Lumi Adisa, PhD (@AdisaLumi) reported from Melbourne, VictoriaSo, as it turns out, @NBN_Australia has come into my area connecting everyone pretty much except us. The most frustrating part is the disconnection of our ongoing ADSL service without ANY indication of when we'll be connected. Spent almost 2 hours talking to @NBN_Australia...

Graham W Kidd (@grahamwkidd) reported from Melbourne, Victoria@NBN_Australia Yeh no. There is nothing great about a 2 day outage.
-
🇯🇵ジャパンダマン 🍐 ANIMAL CROSSING (@Japandaman71) reported from Melbourne, Victoria@iiNet Well your lack of service forced me onto NBN. It really isn’t acceptable to throttle my speed from double digits down to 1 or 3kbps...consistently over a number of years.
-
😷Champagne Dame of Oz 🥂 (@ellisoconnor) reported from Melbourne, Victoria@selga55 Yes as it was a condition of our NBN but we never answer it
-
Craig Hutton (@Hutton_Lab) reported from Melbourne, Victoria@NBN_Australia Thanks for the tips @NBN_Australia, but the support I really needed was fibre to the premise! New coax was laid in my street to do HFC. FTTP would not have cost much more. There are physical limitations to copper and it can only be optimized so much.
-
Graham W Kidd (@grahamwkidd) reported from Melbourne, Victoria@NBN_Australia I have been told by NBN via Telstra that this is an outage. I have an been open ticket with Telstra on this.
-
DavidTheCalmerCoach (@davecalmercoach) reported from Melbourne, VictoriaWell finally @NBN_Australia is working. After realising I was trying to login to the wrong wifi connection now I have to say currently it’s #awesome ... Let’s hope and pray (I’m not religious by the way) that it stays as good... 👏🏻
-

Nick Johnstone (@NickJohnstone2) reported from Melbourne, VictoriaHey @rohan_connolly , we had a NBN tech come to our home and he couldn’t workout how to open an unlocked sliding gate. I wasn’t hopeful of a fix after that. And it wasn’t! Pathetic

Ryan Williams (@RyanWil62993886) reported@1Swinging_Voter I note Conroy never skited about his NBN with his budget of $4.78 billion, he was only about $75 billion out 8 years with the build, and completely out with the scope of works!
-
cht (@PrometheusCHT) reported@ALBACapMgmt @Telstra Some absolute **** knuckles called my mum pretending to be NBN co recently... The scamming is non-stop.
-
BennyB (@Benit4real) reported@madd_slander You are crazy and NBN did NOT have a ghost writer... Treach wrote for both of them. Do ya lessons before committing blasphemy. Reggie has never been trash. Oh I just noticed what your name is... my bad
-
mark mcdonell 🐅🐅🏆 (@mcdonellaussie) reported@jamiesonmurph @helenhainesindi @thelandnews Yes yes please! Next door and across the road on a different NBN system to what I am supposed to have! (It failed I back on copper broadband) the issue is not with the Telcos but NBN itself who failed to deliver a decent infrastructure. We should all have fibre to the Curb (Kerb)
-
Paladin (@Paladinight0) reportedNBN outage for 3 hours wtf
-
🌴🌏Captain Cap Scope 3 emissions (@CaptainAdvance1) reported@PeterWMurphy1 To be fair, they do build carparks. Only in marginal electorates but never let it be said I've never praised the LNP. They also built the NBN. Cheaply. Don't you Twitter lefties go criticising it from jealousy.
-
Dave Underwood 💉x3 (@DaveMUnderwood) reported@AlexanderDowner Build something? As in the way the LNP are "building", Medicare, "building" the NBN? Hmm bad examples, they want to dismantle / of load those. Building relationships with Allies like France? Oh wait, that's in tatters. Building Quarantine facilities? Oh wait, up to the States.
-
johnqgoh (@johnqgoh) reportedNBN down due to storm @Telstra
-
COLIN (CHR) (@P392SUM) reported@DamienBoath 2/2 I’m a T*lstra customer with FTTP NBN connection, using T*lstra’s Smart Modem, but it doesn’t even let the user prompt it to get latest firmware. Am I locked/limited to the T*lstra device, or can I get another modem/router?
