  • BenSorensen1
Ben Sorensen (@BenSorensen1) reported from Melbourne, Victoria

@DaviesDasher @NBN_Australia Malcoms option looked cheaper on paper because it was wrong... it’s now blown out to way more than the origional Labor costing. Cheap now, and best value long term are different. And we picked the worst of everything.

  • KateMurdoch3
Kate Murdoch (@KateMurdoch3) reported from Melbourne, Victoria

@clairegcoleman @NBN_Australia I’m astounded you’re getting any NBN service at all. I can only go through Telstra for it, and they’re not answering calls for the foreseeable.

  • hbowly
Hamish Bowly (@hbowly) reported from Melbourne, Victoria

@VaperNt @GregHuntMP @Bowenchris NZ broadband makes NBN look like the outdated under performing service it is & cares about their citizens health and well-being Let alone helping their own economy and exports. Need to move. We could have new manufacturing & export with effective regulation #WeVapeWeVote

  • KateMurdoch3
Kate Murdoch (@KateMurdoch3) reported from Melbourne, Victoria

@NBN_Australia Yes, we’ve had technicians coming for 1.5 years and little progress. I’ve been told need to organise through Telstra but they have no customer service atm. Outside work done, but can’t seem to connect to house.

  • klatchfo95
K A Latchford (@klatchfo95) reported from Melbourne, Victoria

@simonahac @NBN_Australia @Telstra Good luck It took 10 times until they finally came Technicians are fantastic when they arrive but can’t say the same for the organisation and support structures Need to do better Andy Penn

  • BenSorensen1
Ben Sorensen (@BenSorensen1) reported from Melbourne, Victoria

@DaviesDasher @NBN_Australia I’m saying we spend to fix the issues so it works properly rather than spend on marketing to cover it up. Although returning it with the receipt for a full refund is a good idea. $51 billion for the 43rd fastest internet that already is past its used by date is crazy.

  • BenSorensen1
Ben Sorensen (@BenSorensen1) reported from Melbourne, Victoria

@NBN_Australia I’ve actually had some amazing speed results (both up and down) using the 4G/LTE phone network... I got it as a backup for the failing NBN and it’s comparatively amazing and cheaper. And it didn’t cost Australia $51 billion.

  • elee_bella
Ella Lee (@elee_bella) reported from Melbourne, Victoria

@julessz71 @Channel10AU Bring on the NBN, so I can avoid commercial tv’s poor time management skills, inconsistency, and stream everything.

  • BenSorensen1
Ben Sorensen (@BenSorensen1) reported from Melbourne, Victoria

@DaviesDasher @NBN_Australia Because long term you still need to get rid of the copper... you can’t do any upgrades and copper slows the whole network. Copper is already working at capacity. It’s just deferring the expense rather than the cheaper option of doing it right the first time.

  • AngeandBarney
AngelaBarney (@AngeandBarney) reported from Melbourne, Victoria

@Telstra REALLY struggling with you guys right now. My husband and I both took half day off work yesterday and patiently waited for NBN to be connected between 12-5...NO ONE came! I was on the text chat from 1.30pm until 10pm...still no resolution!

  • MonkeyMagic88
Nathan Fothergill (@MonkeyMagic88) reported from Melbourne, Victoria

@Telstra @stoobii Outage site down as well. This is not NBN I think it is Telstra, and let's be honest, probably China again

  • MishManners
Michelle Mannering 💎 #StayHome (@MishManners) reported from Melbourne, Victoria

@PaulRebec @Telstra Yes please THIS. I spent 45mins troubleshooting, reconfiguring networks, rebooting routers... nothing. Even checked NBN status... finally tried to check the Telstra service. Your webiste is down too. Like send us a text, it isnt that hard!

  • BenSorensen1
Ben Sorensen (@BenSorensen1) reported from Melbourne, Victoria

@DaviesDasher @NBN_Australia So it’s cheaper as it isn’t even close to working at capacity - and once it’s in that’s it. Light based tech is way more versatile, and we need to dig up the copper anyway. Slow expensive internet also kills business.

  • Tres_Villain
Andrew Trevillian (@Tres_Villain) reported from Melbourne, Victoria

Looks like the @Telstra issues aren’t over yet. Some sites connecting and others failing on my NBN...

  • BenSorensen1
Ben Sorensen (@BenSorensen1) reported from Melbourne, Victoria

@BrowntownBrew @DaviesDasher @NBN_Australia And TPG/Voda are using cheaper Nokia tech and being cheeky with placment. 5G is better than broken NBN, but you’re right that we need proper fibre!

  • rehanrazach
Raza (@rehanrazach) reported from Melbourne, Victoria

@Telstra seems like outage? When I try to ring 132200 it say due to emergency agents are not available. My NBN is down and 4G failover too.

  • cpjones44
Chris Jones (@cpjones44) reported from Melbourne, Victoria

Just had a storm go through. @NBN_Australia has dropped out. I will reiterate what I've said so many times - the network is such a technological disaster that has wasted billions of tax payers dollars and set this country back 20 years #fail #nbn #outage

  • nzicecool
    k6a w12e back in Australia 🇱🇰 🇦🇺🦘 (@nzicecool) reported from Melbourne, Victoria

@sarahbr2020 @Telstra DNS issues in all states except QLD and WA. If you know how to change use Google DNS or Cloudflare that should get you going. NBN connection is okay

  • jaejtee
jords (@jaejtee) reported from Melbourne, Victoria

@Telstra NBN team have now confirmed no order was sent by Telstra to them on their records for my address - extremely terrible service from Telstra again, wouldn’t have even known if I hadn’t asked

  • dooglelover
Phil Maude (@dooglelover) reported from Melbourne, Victoria

And it seems since I got the NBN connected the wifi is down till Monday. Monday? Is this for real.

@Optus @networkoutage I've been having issues with my NBN connection since the 20th of November. I've had two technician visits and nothing has been fixed. The technician has outlined a fault on the NBN side. (PNRI) Ref: INC00014493942. Nobody can give me a timeframe for a fix.

  • DaveMilbo
    David Milner (@DaveMilbo) reported

@Alicedkc holy **** you get some serious speeds! And all you had to do was ignore the NBN plan...

  • lukeb1961
    𝖏𝖔𝖎𝖓 𝖙𝖍𝖊 𝖍𝖊𝖎𝖘𝖙! (@lukeb1961) reported

@NBN_Australia @Arwen1951 Comedy GOLD. Dozens of Hazelbrook people have NBN boxes clicking and flashing red, while NBN's idiot status page says nothing is wrong. My Telstra "provider" idiot page automatically contacts NBN and it says TWELVE days before your laughable 'service' can attend.

  • fortescue
Screen. Mind. Both are blank. (@fortescue) reported

@DeanBarnett @NBN_Australia Yeah, that’s why I never got it quoted before. What a joke.

  • etoxin
    Adam (@etoxin) reported

@telstra I've had 3 cancelled NBN appointments and it's near impossible to talk to someone to figure out why these appointments keep getting cancelled. I'm not getting the internet service I'm paying for. Give me a reason to stay with Telstra.

  • g_traktor
    Iva G (@g_traktor) reported

@BRSBF1 @abcnews Haven’t had either of those, I did get Nicole the robo nbn girl. I never get any exotic ones.

  • DebHoggoz
    Deb Hogg 📚🐨🦉🏝🌺🙏😝 (@DebHoggoz) reported

I've lost track of the number of times I have either rung @Telstra or had messages from their social media team as we continue to navigate the appalling service being provided by Telstra NBN at our home. Here we are again this morning with my husband unable to work from home!

  • johnxenos
    John Xenos (@johnxenos) reported

35 minutes on hold with @telstra and I'm yet to speak to an actual person - 2 outages in my first 2 weeks on @NBN_Australia and no support in sight.....tell me again how this was supposed to be a superior solution...

  • AnOldWombat
Sir Wombat the Elder (@AnOldWombat) reported

@anth_onii @DoctorKarl Oh **** the NBN service that just keeps on sucking.

  • mickjoebill
    mjb (@mickjoebill) reported

@techAU @NickRossTech @NBN_Australia The opposite is the case for businesses, free installation if you are in an existing landline network, they recoup costs by charging a high month ly fee.
