  • jaejtee jords (@jaejtee) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Telstra NBN team have now confirmed no order was sent by Telstra to them on their records for my address - extremely terrible service from Telstra again, wouldn’t have even known if I hadn’t asked

  • davmoro David Morison (@davmoro) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

Biggest telecommunications company around and I can’t get to speak over the phone to a @Telstra about a @NBN_Australia connection... **** service!

  • BenSorensen1 Ben Sorensen (@BenSorensen1) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

I was thinking “The internet is so slow today for some reason.” Then I remembered I’m in Australia. @NBN_Australia #auspol #broadband #stillusingcopper #darkages #50thfastest

  • KateMurdoch3 Kate Murdoch (@KateMurdoch3) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@clairegcoleman @NBN_Australia I’m astounded you’re getting any NBN service at all. I can only go through Telstra for it, and they’re not answering calls for the foreseeable.

  • andyjay_81 Andrea Jackson (@andyjay_81) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

Cancel @NBN_Australia install through @Telstra (a story in itself) using the app to continue to see out our contract on ADSL but continue to get calls to book another install time. Try calling to resolve and they won’t take my call despite an email telling me to call 😡

  • aussieaubs aussieaubs (@aussieaubs) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Telstra you are a disgraceful disappointment to customer service. #fail I’ve just spent 5 days trying to get my #nbn connection resolved and your people in the app keep closing the chat window and passing me to another person. Utter rubbish #telstrafail

  • VonBitchPants ฿Ø₲ ₩ł₮₵Ⱨ (@VonBitchPants) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@mickjoebill I dunno what to say...we just changed the network cable to a second port on our NBN box as Aussie Broadband told us to and it was an instant change in speed after the router was rebooted 🤷

  • krysbethmoore Krystin Beth-Moore (@krysbethmoore) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

Dear @iiNet I couldn’t be happier to cancel my plan with you, after weeks of waiting and a day off of work taken so I could get my NBN connection set up, I find out that the connection is actually on short fall.

  • samcurrie Sam Currie (@samcurrie) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Optus once again no signal (NBN HFC) in Hampton 3181. The service the last couple of days has been horrendous

  • BenSorensen1 Ben Sorensen (@BenSorensen1) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@NBN_Australia I’ve actually had some amazing speed results (both up and down) using the 4G/LTE phone network... I got it as a backup for the failing NBN and it’s comparatively amazing and cheaper. And it didn’t cost Australia $51 billion.

  • trevorpvas trevorvas (@trevorpvas) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@NBN_Australia @Telstra you need to get a tech person to help set us up our patience is at an end

  • cpjones44 Chris Jones (@cpjones44) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

Just had a storm go through. @NBN_Australia has dropped out. I will reiterate what I've said so many times - the network is such a technological disaster that has wasted billions of tax payers dollars and set this country back 20 years #fail #nbn #outage

  • KateMurdoch3 Kate Murdoch (@KateMurdoch3) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@NBN_Australia Yes, we’ve had technicians coming for 1.5 years and little progress. I’ve been told need to organise through Telstra but they have no customer service atm. Outside work done, but can’t seem to connect to house.

  • BenSorensen1 Ben Sorensen (@BenSorensen1) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@DaviesDasher @NBN_Australia Because long term you still need to get rid of the copper... you can’t do any upgrades and copper slows the whole network. Copper is already working at capacity. It’s just deferring the expense rather than the cheaper option of doing it right the first time.

  • jasonehill Jason Edward Hill (@jasonehill) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@NBN_Australia Yep check this every day - never anything planned. Always an outage and then you have to investigate. Not good enough

  • maartenijzerman Maarten IJzerman (@maartenijzerman) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Telstra how long do I have to wait for my NBN internet? Ordered early February, spent at least 10 hours on the phone with 8 service agents, have been using the smart app since 17 June to chat with >15 agents, receive bills for Premium internet and all I get is <0.1 mbps...

  • tardis3 tardis3 (@tardis3) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

I rang @Aussie_BB again today. It has been almost 2 weeks since the failed install. Advised that the @NBN_Australia is still scheduling a repair to the pit issue. Might be several more weeks to wait.

  • trevorpvas trevorvas (@trevorpvas) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Telstra @NBN_Australia WE HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR 2 months to make this work time to fix it or let me out of the contract #desperate

  • Dlanorx Ron Nelly’s son 👀 🦘➡️🇦🇺 (@Dlanorx) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Askgerbil @DoctorKarl @TurnbullMalcolm Actually the original purchase of the Telstra cable network, was to remove and compensate Telstra as a network, and provide NBN with infrastructure for laying their cables

  • BenSorensen1 Ben Sorensen (@BenSorensen1) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Backoff11111 @NBN_Australia As the ads tell you... intent is only slow or a problem if you use it.

NBN Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • Nigel_Purchase Nigel Purchase (@Nigel_Purchase) reported

The NBN saga continues. They were supposed to fix it on Friday. Of course, they didn't. My ISP can't give me a date for when it'll be fixed. Starlink just keeps on looking better and better.

  • ausnotes Powell's Other Glasses (Ausnotes) (@ausnotes) reported

@CapitalLutra @Telstra I pair MyNetFone with an NBN service. I guess you could do a landline over a wireless service.

  • EdanCockerell eeds (@EdanCockerell) reported

@NBN_Australia You're good thanks @NBN_Australia. We were just discussing @Foxtel's annoying delay in escalating my service issues to your technicians.

  • thatimran Imran Shakeel (@thatimran) reported

@ShenBryan @NBN_Australia More than 48 hours in, this outage still hasn’t been resolved. What’s going on @NBN_Australia

  • PeterPreeve peter (@PeterPreeve) reported

NBN continue to report 100% availability of service despite the fact that people wait up to 2 weeks for a replacement NBN modem following from a storm over the area. This is rubbish as it's a service unavailability as their equipment fails. #auspol #nbnrubbish

  • RussellEgan Russell Egan (@RussellEgan) reported

@Telstra The NBN is fine. My msgs were about Telstra's customer service processes.

  • thatimran Imran Shakeel (@thatimran) reported

@NBN_Australia How are you helping me then other than looking forward and replying with canned responses? As I mentioned this outage is on your page and is there for more than 48! hours. Is that really an acceptable state of service?

  • maddeykj mads✨ (@maddeykj) reported

@NBN_Australia @NBN_Australia my wifi cuts out after twelve every night and there is connection issues from ten. Is there anyway to fix this? Or look into my settings surrounding website limitation?

  • Evadregand 💧Sir Evadregand (@Evadregand) reported

@SchoonerLita His crime against the NBN is enough to damn him forever.

  • YugNivek Yug Nivek (@YugNivek) reported

@CharlesSherlock @peggymel2001 Not hard to believe, I was a Network Tech & having seen some of the NBN being installed. Not only was it incredibly expensive to kludge together the ancient, corroding copper with the already obsolete NBN equipment. The additional labour time needed to do the job was excessive!
