  • grahamwkidd Graham W Kidd (@grahamwkidd) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@NBN_Australia I'm currently working with 13 22 00 to figure out why NBN is not working. There is no smooth sailing.

  • Daymeaux Daimo (@Daymeaux) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@iiNet Ever since I changed to NBN a couple of months ago, I can’t log in, says it doesn’t recognise my email address, or points of ID to get my login or reset password. Terrible!

  • grahamwkidd Graham W Kidd (@grahamwkidd) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Jeff_Sparrow Try once you've connected. - Not being able to contact the supplier (NBN) and the source of the issue directly. - Once you have lodged a ticket, being actively blocked from contacting support. @Telstra IVR: Your ticket is in progress, you receive updates through the App

  • raymond3020 Adam Gemmell (@raymond3020) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@optus NBN down. Can’t log on to my Optus account. Can’t find a phone number to call Optus to find out why no NBN. #fail

  • grahamwkidd Graham W Kidd (@grahamwkidd) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@NBN_Australia I have been told by NBN via Telstra that this is an outage. I have an been open ticket with Telstra on this.

  • cpjones44 Chris Jones (@cpjones44) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

Service delivery of @NBN_Australia is absolutely atrocious. Less than 12 hours notice of 'planned' maintenance on 12-May. Less than 5 minutes notice of 'planned' maintenance today. It really is a sub-par network which has Australia 20 years behind the rest of the world #fail

  • Japandaman71 🇯🇵ジャパンダマン 🍐 ANIMAL CROSSING (@Japandaman71) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@iiNet Well your lack of service forced me onto NBN. It really isn’t acceptable to throttle my speed from double digits down to 1 or 3kbps...consistently over a number of years.

  • ellisoconnor 😷Champagne Dame of Oz 🥂 (@ellisoconnor) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@selga55 Yes as it was a condition of our NBN but we never answer it

  • JohnnyLydon jk (@JohnnyLydon) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

Trumble (sic) you are the mug. A chancer who got lucky in the dial up Internet era & you thought you knew it all. The decaying ex Telstra infrastructure you you said would give us a quicker cheaper nbn is a slow moving disaster. It is inadequate & will cost billions to replace

  • GuidoTresoldi Guido Tresoldi (@GuidoTresoldi) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@hisaflog NBN and internet not working for me since Tuesday. Fortunately I got data. Can’t bother reporting it now.

  • grahamwkidd Graham W Kidd (@grahamwkidd) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@NBN_Australia I'm currently working with 13 22 00 to figure out why NBN is not working. There is no smooth sailing.

  • Mike_Young88 Michael Young (@Mike_Young88) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

    @wendy_harmer @NBN_Australia Good service sure makes a difference. 🙂

  • philomglol Phil Wait (@philomglol) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

Another day another @NBN_Australia scheduled outage

  • heathcwilson Heath Wilson (@heathcwilson) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@JJFyzz @McKellInstitute @TurnbullMalcolm He is on the record already in recent weeks saying the government should never have built the NBN in any form. Should have been built by private sector. 5G technology is already delivering very high speeds. The original cost was extremely underbaked. Would have cost near $200B

  • edzhao_com Ed Zhao (@edzhao_com) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@VodafoneAU terrible! Bought nbn in late April. Still no FTTC box after three weeks! After enduring hours of waiting on the phone, the kid could only say “it’s pending” then cut off! This is really quite ridiculous!

  • Hutton_Lab Craig Hutton (@Hutton_Lab) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@NBN_Australia Thanks for the tips @NBN_Australia, but the support I really needed was fibre to the premise! New coax was laid in my street to do HFC. FTTP would not have cost much more. There are physical limitations to copper and it can only be optimized so much.

  • grahamwkidd Graham W Kidd (@grahamwkidd) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@NBN_Australia Yeh no. There is nothing great about a 2 day outage.

  • Kentpieterse Kent Pieterse (@Kentpieterse) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@NBN_Australia it’s almost been 24 hours without internet in some of the Brimbank Council suburbs in Victoria. What’s the ETR at this point as the longer my internet is down, the less of my job I can do. PS I understand you have limited employees due to lockdowns but come on...

NBN Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • CUCUMBER_WARMER crone zone (@CUCUMBER_WARMER) reported

Optus technician came swapped the router and it’s still not working 😩 now the nbn have to get involved and why can’t I just have my precious internet 🥺

  • JustinAllingham Justin Allingham (@JustinAllingham) reported

@Telstra I am disgusted by the level of service and reliability I have received with you through the NBN. I want the service I pay for. I want the speeds I paid for. Expect referral to the TIO

  • JustinAllingham Justin Allingham (@JustinAllingham) reported

@Telstra 4G in operation. Modem almost useless. Speeds and coverage 20% down from before we were forced to get the NBN moving from a service that was better and more reliable. I want someone out here..I want it fixed. I want a better modem. I want the speeds promised in my plan.

  • asaf_brukarz Asaf Brukarz (@asaf_brukarz) reported

Waiting almost 4 months and still can’t get a connection to @NBN_Australia despite my entire street being active. They make an appointment, then never show up and just reschedule it. Who do I escalate with?

  • DianaPegoraro Diana Pegoraro (@DianaPegoraro) reported

@KleinRevd @victa810 @deniseshrivell History is full of industrial transitions, we're going through some now. Everyone except the print and broadcast media saw it coming and made no preparation. They could've capitalised on high speed coms but got left behind. And wonder if slow NBN aimed to save them.

  • craznar Christopher Burke 🇦🇺 (@craznar) reported

@NBN_Australia Were you not listening ... they've been lodging faults with NBN for years. The 'matter' is in your network... something you refuse to admit.

  • raythemouse Ray Raymond (@raythemouse) reported

@KjMcelrath Actually they can't, they have proved time and time again that providing quality internet service in Australia is beyond their expertise. The NBN is a joke, fibre to the node? come on? that technology was outdated before they installed it.

  • thecinemascene Simon Waite (@thecinemascene) reported

The 5GHZ band on my modem has stopped working completely (it was working early this morning and then nothing at all): - I thought it was a range problem but that didn't solve it - The 2.4GHZ and my wired work just fine - I'm using a standard NBN modem based on the HG65NINE

  • descry Descry 🇦🇺 // Twitch: DescryAU (@descry) reported

@NBN_Australia your "NBN Policer" in perth is too aggressive and is causing upload issues for people near their advertised speeds.

  • Steve_Rodgers Stephen Rodgers (@Steve_Rodgers) reported

My ISP tells me "Foxtel service is being removing (sic) as NBN service is getting provisioned all over Australia." Coincidentally Foxtel last week offered free installation of satellite dish and upgraded set-top box if I ditched my cable service. Something's up.
