@NBN_Australia Yeh no. There is nothing great about a 2 day outage.

@iiNet Well your lack of service forced me onto NBN. It really isn’t acceptable to throttle my speed from double digits down to 1 or 3kbps...consistently over a number of years.

Top work from @VodafoneIN: postponing our NBN connection leaving our internet a crawl, not connecting on the rescheduled day (no explanation) and ensuring that their hold music is excruciating and populated with the same irritating messages to make you want to hang up. Brilliant.

@NBN_Australia it’s almost been 24 hours without internet in some of the Brimbank Council suburbs in Victoria. What’s the ETR at this point as the longer my internet is down, the less of my job I can do. PS I understand you have limited employees due to lockdowns but come on...

@iiNet Ever since I changed to NBN a couple of months ago, I can’t log in, says it doesn’t recognise my email address, or points of ID to get my login or reset password. Terrible!

@DuttonChemistry @sjwill99 @gnljameson @p_schwerdtfeger A tangential issue, but Oz can never do online teaching properly with our half-baked NBN. 5 people in my house trying to do live sessions on Zoom/Teams through a single (newly laid) coaxial cable doesn’t work. We are ‘lagging’ in so many ways.

@Jeff_Sparrow Try once you've connected. - Not being able to contact the supplier (NBN) and the source of the issue directly. - Once you have lodged a ticket, being actively blocked from contacting support. @Telstra IVR: Your ticket is in progress, you receive updates through the App

@NBN_Australia Thanks for the tips @NBN_Australia, but the support I really needed was fibre to the premise! New coax was laid in my street to do HFC. FTTP would not have cost much more. There are physical limitations to copper and it can only be optimized so much.

So, as it turns out, @NBN_Australia has come into my area connecting everyone pretty much except us. The most frustrating part is the disconnection of our ongoing ADSL service without ANY indication of when we'll be connected. Spent almost 2 hours talking to @NBN_Australia...

Hey @rohan_connolly , we had a NBN tech come to our home and he couldn’t workout how to open an unlocked sliding gate. I wasn’t hopeful of a fix after that. And it wasn’t! Pathetic

Jesus. I wouldn't trust any of the LNP with an app that stores my data. The NBN still hasn't arrived here and I am told it sucks.

@NBN_Australia Is this the part where I answer, you tell me to send a message so I do, you give me a crap copy pasted answer that's mostly irrelevant, tell me nothing and refer me back to my provider (who do not control the infrastructure)?
-

@NBN_Australia Yep, did that 24 hours ago and yet approaching 48 hours with a large chunk of Westleigh still without connection and TPG/Optus/Telstra unable to even acknowledge there is an issue on their network status pages. A lot of remote workers need an ETA. Someone own the issue please.

@NBN_Australia Hi Matt! It says there’s no outage and no fault detected with my connection. But the NBN box isn’t going Online since I reset it during the call. Someone is coming to look at it on Tuesday afternoon but I’m confused how it went from just an issue with 0 up speed to now an outage.

No need to drag @TurnbullMalcolm & his credibility into this to provide a thin impression of cross party support, he will end up in similar position to his time as comms minister when his knowledge & experience provided enough of a facade to damage NBN at early stage....#auspol

@NBN_Australia Think it's time you hand over all telco infrastrucutre to a more competent company. You lot are absolutely useless; I would have a better chance of getting @ScottMorrisonMP to come and fix my unstable line. Going on 12 months and NBN refuse to send someone out.

@NBN_Australia It’s an interesting challenge contacting an NBN provider when the NBN isn’t working... platitudes are not helpful when the service being paid for is intermittent and unreliable especially when working from home and therefore puts productivity at risk.
