@RobCoyte What absolute nonsense! LNP undid or watered down so much of what Labor had achieved in previous govts. Wrecked the #NBN , for starters.

@daveyk317 @smh The budget is NOT IN SURPLUS. Jebus @ScottMorrisonMP, get a ****** policy. This criticism and fear mongering is idiotic even for someone stupid enough to vote for The COALition. And given how you can't roll out an NBN without ******* it up, stay away from nukes. Hear me *******

@Greg_MarineLab @WgarNews @JEChalmers @SBSNews There are people trying to make ends meet on income support payments. Housing costs are now unaffordable for many of us with the rollout of NBN and Power costs what is going to happen to everyday people who can not afford to eat Why can't we have some of the surplus to buy food

@danielbowen The problem with freeways is that you can widen them all you like but if the entry's and exits are constrained and can't be widened. You'll get to your traffic jam quicker. It's called the NBN syndrome.
-
Septimus Prime (@settimoc) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria
@LouM567 @NBN_Australia No, they’ll just go out and fix the fault. If its NBN’s fault, I’m sure they’ll send them the bill. I work in the industry. Don’t bother wasting your energy picking a fight with NBN. You won’t get anywhere fast.
-
Tom ruttkay (@DermieTom) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Incendium_Satus @lynlinking Ms Downer try and manage a weekly budget of $300-350 rent, transport $35.00 food $150 , utilities $60.00 NBN mobile phone $20.00 and this is for a single person you come from a privileged post capitalist position When you last shop at an op shop or marked down food

Amber (@Uberstooks) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria
With most people having to transfer to the awful @NBN_Australia, we should NOT have to pay for the set up costs. We didn’t want this watered down useless service and should not be punished financially. My cable internet even on its bad days shits all over the NBN.
-
Amber (@Uberstooks) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria
@Alcove7 @NBN_Australia Yeah, nah thanks. If they force us to use it, they need to cover those ‘set up’ fees. And we still have the worst internet in the world
-
jo girl (@judgejosie) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria
@lynlinking @judyvw2 @canberratimes Ohhhh ****. It's gonna be Fukashima on steroids given the Japanese are renowned for their quality technology and attention to detail... We've a bunch of yobbos who can't roll out a shitty embarrassment of a NBN and they wanna play with Nukes. **** the world has gone sahhh mad.

@CherylCritchley @joffaboy66 @Honxqp NBN classic example. Original ALP concept was big, futureproof. Then Turnbull got hold of it and slashed it down to the mess we have today

@Optus Your customers service is ridiculous!! I spoken with your staff on phone to book in NBN services on 16 April 2019. End up with no show, I called to find out I been told my appointment not been finalised!! They rescheduled me on 29 May 2019.!!

Dave Hall (@skwashd) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria
@NBN_Australia Thanks for more boilerplate. My RSP have told me you will look at it tomorrow and the SLA you provide them is 2 business days. Stop sending me boilerplate and fix the problem. This is the second round of botched maintenance in 8 weeks.

jk (@JohnnyLydon) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria
@NBN_Australia It is now a new pit for which we first had to pay $3,500 to get built because our new home was on 1/2 our old home site & we were classed as developers !! (refunded after complaint to Telecommunications Ombudsman.) Have landline & ADSL Internet. Waiting to get back on NBN list

@Ballyurra We have the same issue. Speed dropped when nbn did work up the pole. The fault is at the pole I say - so far they have replaced modem twice and sent a guy. He had no ladder, checked our end and reterminated at the house. Won’t check the pole, still no good. No surprise
-

@NBN_Australia @Aussie_BB who’s the brain surgeon that thought it was a good idea to have a scheduled outage during the day during the holidays! Pick your times morons!
-

@Optus i've had practically no NBN since the 23rd and now the 4G is slow as a snail stuck in molasses. wtf is going on?
-
Dominic (@domnixon1984) reported
@Ballyurra They’re all pretty average. But to be honest the issue is primarily the NBN. Your isp can’t overcome technology that is decades old.

Hari Krishna Moorthi (@hkmcp) reported
Starlink offers better service to NBN Co’s Sky Muster’s GEO satellites that operate at higher altitudes. Sky Muster covers a larger area but takes longer to send signals. Starlink would however need to launch more satellites to match area coverage. (2/4)

@dmccann65 @Ballyurra @slsandpet Thanks for the NBN rant, I’m well aware of its shortcomings.. but she asked for an alternative provider since Telstra are refusing to help her perform any troubleshooting. Superloop will help her with this
