I thought you are an essential service?! Also, the technician needs to check out the lines and wiring, etc. and they have no contact with a person. why can’t they work?

Switched to Optus at NBN connection time some years back. Could not be happier with Optus!! Stuff Telstra "and all who ro(r)t in her!!"

He tried to help but finally concluded that the most speed I can get here is 17mbps! because we are 1 km away from the node. I need to find an altenrantive for NBN. It should not be this low next to a main street. #nbndisaster

NBN fibre is excellent though and speeds are world comparable. Still, many Aussies pick the cheapest slow plans which reduces our world rankings

I am here for 30+ years and seen so many Americans who moved to Israel without any aid from any group (before NBN) who due to finances were forced to leave after learning the language, building businesses, having kids, etc. NBN wouldn't help any of them!
