@Monster_Dome We pretend, we have pigeons, called Telstra, Optus, NBN, TPG, and ADSL (who is old and slow, and needs to be retired). 5 pigeons between the 6 of us works OK most days given our island home is the size of a large NY pizza.

Our network monitoring has confirmed mobile, fixed broadband and NBN services in Tasmania started coming back online just after 6pm following the earlier third party cable issue. We are running final checks to confirm all services are fully restored.

@Optus Fix the service! NO PHONE for 24hrs now...this is not on in floods. No communication with family they were very worried. Maybe lucky that after about 12hrs my Telstra NBN came on to at least let ppl know we were okay. Fix the phones! I can't call about appts or family

@NBN_Australia Happily about to install skylink to upgrade with optus@home Vodafone@home who give me 10mb each, and 900g of data just a bit slow, not NBN can't afford 5 satellites on NBN to get the same data.

Following the outage caused by cuts to Telstra cables in Tasmania, we've restored services to our fixed wireless network. However, some nbn fixed line premises may still be offline due to impacts to networks used to deliver nbn services. For updates, please contact your provider.
