We will inherit a mess. Don’t know the scale of it & won’t make reckless promise about time & cost to fix it.

    It was an NBN problem, which means I can't fix it. I told her that but that wasn't a good enough excuse. Do now I am a fat lazy spoilt child all because i didn't drop everything to sort out all her problems. She then told my dad that and threatened to stop helping me financially

    @NBN_Australia Update: Thanks for sending someone to have a look. He tried to help but finally concluded that the most speed I can get here is 17mbps! because we are 1 km away from the node. I need to find an altenrantive for NBN. It should not be this low next to a main street. #nbndisaster

    @Telstra I’m a patient person. However when my very elderly parents in Kiama are left without a land line for over 20 days & I discover that someone in @telstra or @nbn didn’t create a ‘Task ID’ for the third time in 3 weeks I reach a state of total frustration. Pls help.

    @LesStonehouse Faithful to Telstra for 40 years despite our blind loyalty not being reciprocated in quality of service or pricing. Switched to Optus at NBN connection time some years back. Could not be happier with Optus!! Stuff Telstra "and all who ro(r)t in her!!"

    @seamus @brett_gibson @charlietech @wendy_harmer @robbie_buck @abcsydney The primary reason Nbn needed to add cvc capacity is because Australians - and click baiting journos at some publications - would simply say “nbn is stuffed” when they have issues, when in fact it’s the telcos that fail to provision bandwidth... anyway... good times

    @NBN_Australia one genuine question: apparently because of the lockdown in Wollongong, NBN cannot send out a technician! I thought you are an essential service?! Also, the technician needs to check out the lines and wiring, etc. and they have no contact with a person. why can’t they work?

As your arse is being shown the door. Which Labor does every time and requiring some else to find the money. Then your always going to be working from behind. We were debt free as Howard left office. Then along came Rudd with the NBN and Gillard with the NDIS. Announced with massive fanfare and zero funding. Granted Morrison and the idiot Turnbul didn't help either by throwing money at them. We are heading for a recession (we had to have) but you appear to have your head ensconced in a very dark place.

    @RobERussell1 @FranMooMoo Yes it is. I did some checking&at the moment I'm better off staying with the NBN network. I have told this to Elon many times,but I never get an answer. Same goes for his paid premium subscription to X. It sounds reasonable in American dollars, but that explodes in our currency.

    Im also not claiming it 100% never happened. Or that I was 100% wrong. As I’ve seen no real evidence to disprove this is false either. But if it wasn’t said directly in the BBN server I don’t wanna act like it is. Even if YouTubers and NBN devs supported it to be unintentionally.

    @TheLucidyn @Batman2242 Kind of proving the point. Gov can't perceive anything. Making large Capex decisions that are supposed to be generational. It was anti competitive from the outset. Private companies (TPG notable) were prohibited from building out their own network. Regardless, I can have starlink internet now for about the same monthly price as the NBN except i didn't have to front the Capex (and debt) for it. NBN very likely has a negative ROI. I wish we judged policies by outcomes not intentions.

    @ArtistAffame If you don't have a wifi router then you will. The 5G is the mobile network, you connect to the internet via that or via NBN. Usually then it connects to a wifi router.

    @OperationalInc1 Whenever the NBN low-earth orbit satelitte service kicks off (Amazon's burgeoning network), the backup should switch to that. Aside from some parts of inner Perth/Melb/Syd/Bris, all of the rail network is on the surface and will be able to uplink, I would have thought.
