@LesStonehouse @Telstra @Optus Oh He's. It does seem older folk were totally neglected in all of this. No NBN no phone. Cutoffs before they were ready. Expectations they'd understand it all. Neighbour is nearly 90 and it's been awful trying to keep him connected. All on his own.

@LesStonehouse Faithful to Telstra for 40 years despite our blind loyalty not being reciprocated in quality of service or pricing. Switched to Optus at NBN connection time some years back. Could not be happier with Optus!! Stuff Telstra "and all who ro(r)t in her!!"

@Telstra I’m a patient person. However when my very elderly parents in Kiama are left without a land line for over 20 days & I discover that someone in @telstra or @nbn didn’t create a ‘Task ID’ for the third time in 3 weeks I reach a state of total frustration. Pls help.

Just cos I feel like continuing this rant. We pay $260 a month for mobile internet because NBN was cancelled here. A minutes walk down the road they have FULL NBN Here its satellite 25/5 max speed 150GB max

@DaveMilbo The worst part is that if the nbn was done properly with Fibre you would have been all good. I have FttH and have up to 1gbps down 50mbps up and it's great.

@NBN_Australia No. You refer to an RSP because that’s the system’s structure (to avoid responsibility at all costs). If there is a referral from an RSP, there is no internal support team at NBNCo to handle. There is further automated testing, which 9/10 times tells the RSP “not our problem”.

@DodoAustralia no nbn connection in Wonthaggi since 10.30am, Took me 50mins on hold to get to someone who confirmed an outage and gave no indication when it would be fixed and hastily hung up, what is going on?

@FreoLou @MatthewPassmor8 @FreoPope It's likely that your Internet is delivered over copper (FTTN) or possibly HFC. FTTN - depends how far the premises is from node. Has the problems with poor instalations, pits letting water leak in etc NBN HFC - uses higher frequencies than Telstra = dropouts. TI

@mattnhodges @NBN_Australia Hi Matt, Sorry to hear it is so unstable, while we certainly can't fix network faults our self we can at least work with NBN to ensure that they are being addressed. If this is not happening we can look into it if you have a fault number handy. - Adam
