Hi @iiNet we have had multiple disconnects from internet today. Are NBN carrying out service work?

  • DocB__
    Dr Ron Baumann (@DocB__) reported

@HudgellSuzanne @iiNet no difference. NBN is NBN regardless of who sells it. It's the same service. The only difference may be customer service.

@iiNet can you advise if the NBN/internet is down in the Northcote, VIC area? Just trying to figure out why my internet isn’t working & wonder if it’s related to the recent storm.

  • ThurstoneMOAR
    Thurstone MOAR III (@ThurstoneMOAR) reported

@iiNet Hi there. It turns out the issue is with the NBN and we'll be without internet for a few weeks. Am I to pay for internet while I can't access it and is there any protocols for paying for my mobile data in the meantime? I realise it isn't your fault.

@iiNet we got deal that I’m supposed to get at least 80Mbps DL, and all I got is 60Kbps DL. Wtf is up with that?

  • weezmgk
    Comrade Weez (@weezmgk) reported

@RJMajik @iiNet ****. That's the usual. Have you got a surge protector on it? May not make any diff, these NCDs are apparently made of glass. Sometimes unplugging mains & cable to router then powering back up with nothing connected gets it to re-establish the link. #sigh

  • aurantiacoXI
    irena (@aurantiacoXI) reported

@iiNet Thanks. I’ve learned is a NBN outage and not iiNet issue.

Look, I understand why you do it, but not allowing a customer to cancel an account without speaking to a sales rep on the phone is super annoying @iiNet
