Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Stanmore and nearby locations:

  • Flansq Flangela (@Flansq) reported from Point Talburpin, State of Queensland

I think the solution was to change the WAN port from 1 to 4, despite the cable from the iinet modem being plugged into port 1.

  • dansheps_ MurfasaurusRex (@dansheps_) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

@iiNet Its too late its all ready with the TIO. Your support team failed to provide adequate support and at times ignored my requests and constantly spoke over me. I guess happens when you cut costs and move support overseas that have no idea about Australian consumer law. Damage done.

  • Mcali4 liz franklin (@Mcali4) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

    @_bohemiaheart @slpng_giants_oz @iiNet @flightcentreAU @myer @JetstarAirways @ladbrokescomau I'll have a ritual burning of my myercard. Never used it much anyway.

  • dansheps_ MurfasaurusRex (@dansheps_) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

@iiNet Yup already spoken to them and there response tbh is not acceptable at this stage. For your interest here is the invoice that caused this problem. 695673371 you might find this a rather interesting case. This is just the start of the exposure of the illegal billing practices.

@iiNet Does this also include customer web hosting and Business Cloud services? The latter at least appears out of action.

  • Swampduck04 SwampDuck🦆🐃🐅 (@Swampduck04) reported

@iiNet No communication with your customers is unacceptable. This would never have happened under the old Westnet. Should never have sold to you lot.

  • MissMFNQ Martina Christie (@MissMFNQ) reported

@iiNet An absolute disgrace 24hrs before acknowledging there’s a problem. Even I can use my 4g phone to post a status update to social media it really isn’t that hard, get a guy & his smartphone and say ‘hey go post to FB & Twitter and let our valued customers know that we got problems”

  • perthhacks PerthHacks (@perthhacks) reported

@chky_cel @iiNet yeah email has been down since yesterday. Forums say that someone may have forgotten to turn on the AC in the server room

  • ralphytown Amanda Ralph (@ralphytown) reported

@DemographyOz @mercernany #iinet are trying to pretend it’s an isolated issue but it is widespread, nationwide. Day 3 now of email down @iiNet

  • shazioewins Sharon (@shazioewins) reported

@iiNet I accept the reason for the loss of service-adverse events happen.I can’t accept the ARROGANCE of NO ACKNOWLEDGEMENT of the delay in advising us-either your risk mgt processes are in a mess- ( crucial step”advise customers”) or u just didn’t care about us.U need to explain THIS!

  • lodge_kl Kelly L (@lodge_kl) reported

@iiNet .. Approaching 30 hours now since last being able to access email. You’ve been working on the issue for at least 8 hours now……. When is it going to be fixed ??

  • campo62 M (@campo62) reported

@iiNet Remind me to email you a message of cancellation once you are up and running again. Since yesterday I have been trying to change settings etc thinking the problem was with my phone. Wasted time if only you had sent out a message earlier.

  • DanRead3 Dan Read (@DanRead3) reported

@iiNet Can’t believe this is taking so long to fix…. Are the people who have sent us emails getting a bounce back so they know their email hasn’t gone thru??
