  • dansheps_ MurfasaurusRex (@dansheps_) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

@iiNet Yup already spoken to them and there response tbh is not acceptable at this stage. For your interest here is the invoice that caused this problem. 695673371 you might find this a rather interesting case. This is just the start of the exposure of the illegal billing practices.

  • dansheps_ MurfasaurusRex (@dansheps_) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

@iiNet Its too late its all ready with the TIO. Your support team failed to provide adequate support and at times ignored my requests and constantly spoke over me. I guess happens when you cut costs and move support overseas that have no idea about Australian consumer law. Damage done.

  • Flansq Flangela (@Flansq) reported from Point Talburpin, State of Queensland

I think the solution was to change the WAN port from 1 to 4, despite the cable from the iinet modem being plugged into port 1.

  • TheRiffJet Riff Jet (@TheRiffJet) reported

@iiNet @richardawa How long did that take to tweet a message? Down Detector was more useful.

  • _Costley Costley ⚽️❣️MUFC (@_Costley) reported

@iiNet @richardawa iiNet maybe you should put out a notice so users know it’s a spread issue and not having to hunt your replies for answers. I’m questioning keeping my service after price increases whilst reliability and customer service decreases.

  • KylieSaunder Kylie Saunder (@KylieSaunder) reported

@iiNet why is email and your website down in Melbourne?

  • richardawa Richard Allberry (@richardawa) reported

@DanRead3 @iiNet Tech support was meant to have been there 9-8 yesterday….

  • shazioewins Sharon (@shazioewins) reported

@iiNet Ummm.. no one able to get in touch with your “team” yesterday while we have no access to emails .. so not sure who was “working” between 4-8 .. and why a message on Twitter/FB wasn’t posted advising reason/restoration process has me stumped! 20 year customer, soon to be “ex”

  • RosalieBent Rosalie Bent (@RosalieBent) reported

@iiNet What's the point in having a twitter account if you can't bother to at least post a 'we are having problems and we'll be fixed soon' type of message? Or have you gone bankrupt? who can tell?

  • OttoVonT Peter Metzeling (@OttoVonT) reported

@iiNet your service for webmail has been offline since xmas day. Whats going on? Cant get through on phone to you but someone is tweeting...

  • DanRead3 Dan Read (@DanRead3) reported

@iiNet @richardawa Yep - this shows bad service by iinet - people were tweeting about this since last night and yet nothing until now. I get that tech support might close on Xmas day but if there’s a major outage like this, you really should have a backup plan to keep your customers in the loop…

  • Boendy1 Chris Boendermaker🐀💧😈 (@Boendy1) reported

I use my internet connection for work. @iiNet as a result of a lack of response to customers during this outtage, inability to provide a 24/7 service and a general decline in service, after 19 years I am taking my business elsewhere. Very disappointing #iiNetFail

  • pjohs1627 Philip Johnson (@pjohs1627) reported
