@iiNet Its too late its all ready with the TIO. Your support team failed to provide adequate support and at times ignored my requests and constantly spoke over me. I guess happens when you cut costs and move support overseas that have no idea about Australian consumer law. Damage done.

@timothy_89 @lukeacl @iiNet Lifx uses direct wifi only, the Hue bulbs use a mesh network

Flangela (@Flansq) reported from Point Talburpin, State of Queensland
I think the solution was to change the WAN port from 1 to 4, despite the cable from the iinet modem being plugged into port 1.

Me: yeah hi I need to configure some settings on my internet settings @iiNet support rep: yeah cool. While this is processing allow me to tell you all about my #COVIDー19 conspiracy theory and how it’s man made population control. Me: 😐

@iiNet Yup already spoken to them and there response tbh is not acceptable at this stage. For your interest here is the invoice that caused this problem. 695673371 you might find this a rather interesting case. This is just the start of the exposure of the illegal billing practices.

@jones_writer @iiNet I might not be you provider. Nbn is crap. Though if you’re looking for a different isp superloop are good. (Sorry iinet, nothing against you, I’ve only been with superloop they’ve been good to me)

@oHrtzy @iiNet That’s ****** man, it’s so bad. I think I was paying for something near that too. I couldn’t even play a game and have my phone on the wifi. Let alone have my wife watch Netflix and be on the internet too
-
Martyn Davis 💉 (@themadhacker) reported
Dear @iiNet - just bought an eero wifi mesh system, which won’t work as you use pppoe over nbn modem (why oh why didn’t I search). So either help me bridge it with your existing wifi router or bye bye iiNet hello new isp. Your help desk said out of scope.

@iiNet is there an issue in St Kilda tonight? My normally good home wireless speed is less than 1mbps and has been for 2 hours. Please advise, thanks

Rob Hill (@DevolvedRob) reported
We got a notification from @iiNet that there would be some disruption to our internet service in the wee hours of this morning and our service now is basically non-existent. I can’t wait until we move house soon and go with literally any other provider

-
Bill Bennett (@billbennettnz) reported
@seamus @iiNet It is is almost impossible to buy speeds as low as 20Mbps in New Zealand any more. Can only do so if you are one of the two or three percent stuck on a poor quality copper connection or have 1st generation fixed wireless.

@AGrumpyScotsman @another_streamr @iiNet Agreed. I left iiNet a year or so ago after years of pathetic Internet and awful customer service. They also charged me for 2 month after I cancelled too so watch out for that AussieBB is goated though, couldn’t recommend enough

@WolfQveenttv @iiNet HAHA WTF. Forcing you to pay more for a service that’s worse and that you don’t even need @iiNet logic
