@iiNet Yup already spoken to them and there response tbh is not acceptable at this stage. For your interest here is the invoice that caused this problem. 695673371 you might find this a rather interesting case. This is just the start of the exposure of the illegal billing practices.

  • dansheps_ MurfasaurusRex (@dansheps_) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

@iiNet Its too late its all ready with the TIO. Your support team failed to provide adequate support and at times ignored my requests and constantly spoke over me. I guess happens when you cut costs and move support overseas that have no idea about Australian consumer law. Damage done.

@iiNet Some huge overreactions in this thread. How often does email go down? This is obviously an extraordinary occurrence. I can wait.

  • campo62 M (@campo62) reported

@iiNet Remind me to email you a message of cancellation once you are up and running again. Since yesterday I have been trying to change settings etc thinking the problem was with my phone. Wasted time if only you had sent out a message earlier.

  • buttman65 Anthony Butt (@buttman65) reported

@iiNet Why has it taken 24 hours to post a message. In this day and age of social media, a message to advise that there issues would have been appreciated.

@Nemspy @jen_vevie @iiNet They USED to be WA company, and their customer service was second to none, then after they were bought by TPG (NSW company) it all went to ****

  • Tim___F Tim Fountain (@Tim___F) reported

@iiNet You have most customer contact details. Why wasn't there at least an SMS? Or did you lose access to customer databases as well?

  • SilensMortalis Silens Mortalis (@SilensMortalis) reported

@iiNet @roger_groom After a day it is considerably more significant than an “inconvenience”. It is about time iinet owned the problem it has created through its apparent negligence,

  • Sebasti75147061 Sebastian (@Sebasti75147061) reported

@iiNet how much longer do you think the outage will be?! Please don’t paste the same reply about ‘extreme weather’. Just want to know if it will be an hour/day/week so I can make other arrangements. Thanks.

  • ozshena ozshena (@ozshena) reported

@iiNet Your total lack of information for over 24 hrs is what is unforgivable and will be losing you many thousands of customers and possibly include legal action from business clients. Your apology with no fix yet and no timeline for rectification is a pathetic effort.
