  • QueenslandInve1 Queensland Investigations (@QueenslandInve1) reported from Sunshine Coast, State of Queensland

He was so arrogant & rude. As soon as he left I rang @Telstra straight back & told them what happened & said I'd like the issue escalated immediately which they did. This morning another tech turned up 👇👇👇

  • blackiwiroo Blackiwiroo 🎀🇦🇺🇳🇿🙋🏻‍♀️ (@blackiwiroo) reported from Sunshine Coast, State of Queensland

@fi_shep @Telstra It’s a pain in the arse hey!🤬 Who would think in our day & age you struggle to connect with someone on the phone for a service they’re suppose to provide & have things dealt with quickly - more fool us!

  • YaThinkN Noely ⚡️⚡️🏐 (@YaThinkN) reported from Sunshine Coast, State of Queensland

@shapednoise No. The app on the phone is working fine. Just when streamed through Telstra TV keeps failing but we are using same #Fraudband for both. Plus others in other locations having issues too.

  • adamjonwilliams Adam Williams (@adamjonwilliams) reported from Sunshine Coast, State of Queensland

@ellispeta Yeah get it had the same issue when doing telstra games, a lot of my work toward the end of it was trying to develop metrix to report on for a very successful service with largely intangible benifits

  • LionsTalk LionsTalk (@LionsTalk) reported from Sunshine Coast, State of Queensland

On the @Telstra Chat line. 30 minutes, 1 Bot and 5 people I am no closer to a solution 😱

  • JohnPark_au John Park (@JohnPark_au) reported from Sunshine Coast, State of Queensland

  • Truturns Les Ross (@Truturns) reported from Sunshine Coast, State of Queensland

@tanya_plibersek @stemplemanmp I’ve got a similar story! The TIO is on my case - hope to get Telstra 5G service so I can dump the NBN!

  • blackiwiroo Blackiwiroo 🎀🇦🇺🇳🇿🙋🏻‍♀️ (@blackiwiroo) reported from Sunshine Coast, State of Queensland

@fi_shep @Telstra I moved across to iPrimus 2yrs ago after Telstra’s shitty service!

  • QueenslandInve1 Queensland Investigations (@QueenslandInve1) reported from Sunshine Coast, State of Queensland

@Pullenvalebirds I've never had any problems with Telstra I must say. But my modem at 3 years old was simply not keeping up. Telstra told me they'll be replacing the modems abt every 2-3 years for free. I've got the updated version now, the one that overrides NBN and power failures.

  • qldtrials Chris Nelson (@qldtrials) reported from Sunshine Coast, State of Queensland

@Telstra @Annadon58314738 @PaulMurrayWA Can u guys fix this, been going on for weeks. Surely there's a propeller head somewhere within the joint who can get it done...😳

  • Smash_N_LiamC3 LiamC[3] (@Smash_N_LiamC3) reported from Sunshine Coast, State of Queensland

@Telstra Yeah it says it's fine so maybe it's just something with the connection strength in my Location. Thanks for the help though

  • McGregorCourt Courtney McGregor..Human rights and social justice (@McGregorCourt) reported from Sunshine Coast, State of Queensland

@TPythia @Telstra No. I didn't actually. It occurred during the second call when they phoned me and let me know that the issue was more involved than they envisaged, that it had been escalated and they told me they were crediting my account plus more data free of charge for my mobile.

  • ryanlerch ryan lerch (@ryanlerch) reported from Sunshine Coast, State of Queensland

@NewcastleGardia @YaThinkN @Telstra From the discussion I had on the phone with Telstra it more seems like they cant post an official outage until they can physically get to the site (be it the exchange or whatever) to confirm it. However, due to the fires here at Peregian, they can’t confirm.

  • JohnPark_au John Park (@JohnPark_au) reported from Sunshine Coast, State of Queensland

@Telstra Your 'technical support' is a joke and yesterday provided no pertinent information. And you're failing to help! Thanks for nothing.

  • pete_goodlet Pete Goodlet (@pete_goodlet) reported from Sunshine Coast, State of Queensland

@NBN_Australia Hi Natalie. We have spent hours on the phone. The first technician was Telstra. The second technician was from @NBN_Australia he was unable to fix the board.. we were meant to be contacted last Tuesday.. still nothing!!

  • zerohash Justin King (@zerohash) reported from Sunshine Coast, State of Queensland

Time to quit all @Telstra services, they never get back to you attempt to push you to automated help pages or virtual bots and blame covid for being busy

  • YaThinkN Noely ⚡️🏐 (@YaThinkN) reported from Sunshine Coast, State of Queensland

@Niksterisms @BeccaHayne @Telstra Yeah. Not ideal but how else can we watch? Bad enough with what we are talking about now, but add in rugby league, union, basketball, soccer, hockey (field & ice), gymnastics, athletics, state comps you name it... would be enough to fill 🤔

  • LionsTalk LionsTalk (@LionsTalk) reported from Sunshine Coast, State of Queensland

@Telstra No not at all - after 50 minutes, 5 people and 1 Bot I was informed they could not help me and to go to a Telstra Shop. No! Anything but a Telstra Shop where kiddies have to stop grooming themselves to serve me then ask heaps of questions before telling me they don’t know 😱

Telstra Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • dktay16 Darrin (@dktay16) reported

@GandWalter Maybe he'd just chased off telstra and this is the real reason they can't fix anything! 🤔

  • genkakrokodil Genka Krok 🇦🇺 HONK HONK! I usually follow back (@genkakrokodil) reported

@9NewsMelb No thanks. Cashless means there is no redundant fallback when systems fail. Recently, Telstra outage in Byron Bay meant most shops couldn't do EFT/Credit transactions - only cash. Cash is not affected by power/comms outage or hacking.

  • AChristie221 Alastair Christie (@AChristie221) reported

@Telstra It's actually insane that a Telstra agent can manage to cancel the wrong account, despite being told the correct account number to cancel MULTIPLE TIMES on the call, and NEVER being told the account number she actually cancelled. And then 3 days for reconnect. FIX THIS

  • rahima_sue rahima (@rahima_sue) reported

@thespecialbka Telstra let Mullumbimby down - for an entire week when our town was in the heaviest crises - flooded - with people trapped in the hills, mudslides, roads washed out, when this town was in dire need to connect - we had nothing - no internet, no phones

  • paulbrown73au Paul Brown (@paulbrown73au) reported

@Telstra Hi There, can you tell me if there is an issue with bigpond email? My Emails on my iPhone have gone weird with the first one dated 3/9/21!

  • bitcoinmanbear1 bitcoinmanbearbull (@bitcoinmanbear1) reported

So one major stock pick that continues to work out for me is $ABB. Why? 1. I used it for years, great service 2. It's "new", the old guard is Telstra, and they need to be supplanted. 3. In lockdowns, what do people use? -> internet. Like, think about it.

  • privateselect53 John salmon (@privateselect53) reported

@Telstra it seems like the whole of Australia has problems with Telstra. I see on the complaints site and my problems is not alone. So in thinking about it. Is the whole of the 5g network has become a failure and we all paying for a system that not working.

  • Peter_R_Nash Peter Nash (@Peter_R_Nash) reported

@brucerguthrie @Telstra Get a mesh network, not much more in cost.

  • Robert6420 Robert Tunn (@Robert6420) reported

@Telstra I don't need a hand, you need to fix your customer service models.

  • ha11sy Jason 'ha11sy' Halls (@ha11sy) reported
