We rely on it heavily as we get our phone, internet and Wi-Fi calling on our mobiles through it. We live in a black spot so can not be contacted at home till it is restored.

We're pretty much stuck with Telstra, who thought they'd fixed it today but the speed is still wildly unstable, several hours here and there at snail's pace. Better luck tomorrow I hope

Optus does very well vs Telstra in regional these days.

We wouldn't be in the mess if LNP didn't sell Telstra as a single entity despite being advised to split. Then they wouldn't split and participate in the nbn build similar to NZ.
