@lachiemc64 I’m told we’ve no choice now FRAUDBAND is in our area. So much for lnp’s free market bullshit. Only when it suits their greedy parasitic mates. ADSL, though slow, never drops out although I note Telstra will still charge like the “Light Brigade” to fix the loose copper to my home

@TakeruFN and i used to have that issue but what ended up happening was the internet box in street was hard ****** cuz of a storm cuz we got a telstra guy to check it out after like a 6 month request and he installed a whole new box

@guru_nrl @david89293299 @abcnews I don’t think it’s capitalist dogma. If LNP were about that, they would be all over this green tech like the proverbial. LNP paid Telstra and Optus billions to buy a HFC network that was in dire need of repair and unusable: they report to an elite few. Capitalism nowhere here.

@angela_shares @Telstra Oh sorry mate, it did. But you'd imagine if it has power and a 4G connection, it should be able to self-diagnose why the landline wasn't working (or at least self-check that the internals were okay). More simply: it should have been able to tell Telstra it was broken :)

Hey @Telstra The purgatory I tweeted about earlier this week continues. After multiple phone calls and hours spent and doing everything Telstra has required of us in addressing our ADSL issues, we have made no progress.

Received a letter from Telstra containing a refund cheque. I cannot work out if it is a scam or some sort (not sure how) or that I was one of the 50,000 customers it was made to refund for slow NBN.

Apparently, the Aussie tech dude, yesterday, from @NBN_Australia didn't know a thing, talked up a big game, bagged the "foreign" contractors. He spent 3 hours here and didn't fix a thing. Today? A "foreign" contractor detected what was wrong in 1min. Fixed it in 15 mins. @Telstra
