@ACurrentAffair9 Also #telcos telstra charged me for a #service, a land-line service for #twoyears , at a previous address, I notified them it was from 2012-2014 . Every month, but continue to bill me by email, as they did not have my residential address aa I told them

  • willdeasy Will Deasy (@willdeasy) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@fictillius @Telstra Log a report! That will fix everything 😂

  • NickyWill100 Nicky Williamson 🌏✈️🌏✈️🌏 (@NickyWill100) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

Hi @Telstra I just got a text from you with a Verification Code I didn't ask plus a broken link on your website. There is no one live to speak to about this security issue. Can you please tell me what to do asap. I know a lot of people who've had their sims scammed.

  • chrisjackis Chris Jack (@chrisjackis) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Telstra My case manager calls me weekly but its the fact he cannot provide me a target resolution date that's the biggest problem and that's because there's a lack of updates from the technicians on the ground.

  • Isaac_IWF 皇帝Isaac🍒 (@Isaac_IWF) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Telstra No, And I have restarted my router and computer multiple times. Friend in nearby suburb also mentioned bad connection at the same time I was having issues. Cbf to deal with tech support for useless solution when its a problem on your end. Had this talk before

  • gregorymckenna Greg McKenna (@gregorymckenna) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

Folks Oz banking currently down due to Telstra outage across the board of m hearing - no more sleetails as im on a train #ausbiz #auspol #rba

  • fictillius Evan (@fictillius) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Telstra This has been going on for months. Have to toggle airplane mode off and on to get a connection. Their ‘solution’ is to disable 4G and only use 3G 🤔

  • MyannaWedes Myanna Wedes (@MyannaWedes) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Telstra We have done this and it says no issues. However, no internet here... just want to get an estimated idea on what is going on.

  • TomRagen Tom Ragen (@TomRagen) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

Telcos @Telstra & @Optus are looking under the lead of the @NBN_Australia to charge people more for the use of streaming videos services! #No! Absolutely not! We are already paying for internet service. If you add this new charges it’s a ***** money grab! #WTF

  • chrisjackis Chris Jack (@chrisjackis) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Telstra I've reported it a number of times and I have a case manager on to it but I'm now into the sixth week of an outage and it's just unacceptable.

  • chrisjackis Chris Jack (@chrisjackis) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Telstra I continue getting non - update updates. My case manager calls once or twice a week to tell me he has no update. He's doing his best but he doesn't have the necessary info to provide me with a decent update. I'd at least expect a target fix date but he doesn't know.

  • sweetcandie43 candy (@sweetcandie43) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@ACurrentAffair9 Telstra for 2 years owe me $1000 plus interest, #telcos quick to take my money, but when I #complained they closed it a few times, yet quick to bill me, even when I contacted them #monthly telstra, how dare they bill me for a service I did not have #media #7NEWS #9newsat6

  • PeterIacono Not Your Regular Baby Boomer (@PeterIacono) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

Thank **** the Telstra tracker is there to tell me the game is more intense.

  • mikeaubrey2 🇦🇺mikeaubrey🏳️‍🌈 (@mikeaubrey2) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

    @NickRossTech @NBN_Australia WATFJ.....can't even provide a basic service now want extra for basic........still waiting for my fix....paying Telstra/NBN for 100 getting @ best 23.........they are "investigating"........🤔😁🤣🤣🤣

  • fictillius Evan (@fictillius) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Telstra out at lunch and get iMessages 15 mins after they were sent to me because full signal but no data. This really is pathetic and disabling 4G is hardly a solution

  • chrisjackis Chris Jack (@chrisjackis) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

Searching "telstra outage" or "telstra complaint" on twitter shows you the massive problems @Telstra are having and the number of people impacted. Resolution times are unacceptable and the lack of transparency is very poor. I'm now into week six of an outage in Dee Why. #fail

  • Isaac_IWF 皇帝Isaac🍒 (@Isaac_IWF) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Telstra Services are down =/= Services are being especially slow and non-responsive at times. Don't misconstrue my words. The connection is running but it is abnormally shit. Your end, not mine.

  • fictillius Evan (@fictillius) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

Another lunch time in the Sydney CBD another day of full Telstra 4G signal but zero data flowing.

  • Spreeman Spree (@Spreeman) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Happylittleveg @teeser @WildeGio @GeorgeBludger Foxtel now is there streaming service. I received it free on my telstra contract. Great to watch CNN. Oh and watch the first 7 seasons of Game of thrones free. So yes it is also a streaming service

  • chris8449 Chris Arancibia (@chris8449) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Telstra have been having issues with internet speed at Glenhaven.m NSW 2156 for days now - could someone please let me know when this issue will be resolved - hard to run a business with your network service. Thanks

  • Ozzytourer 💧Lucky Country with A Labor Govt!! (@Ozzytourer) reported

@RichardKGrump @TPG_Telecom What is terrible about Telstra... Only terrible part is if you have to deal with them. The network is fine, only one that works in Rural Australia... I bought my last phone through Woolies, (heaps cheaper) & it still uses Telstra network.

  • KatieHa79810311 Katie Harrison 🌈 (@KatieHa79810311) reported

@SallyLawry To be fair, the ceo recently changed, and clearly this was an issue that was created and maintained well prior to that change. But what did the new one do 2 address it? I don't know. Telstra has been actively selling their customers data for decades... so they are just as bad.

  • JudithSherry1 Judith Sherry (@JudithSherry1) reported

@RichardKGrump @MorpheusBeing @TPG_Telecom Same here ,internet doesn't work when it rains ,when it is windy when it is too hot. Telstra still keeps taking a monthly fee regardless.

  • GeoffKirwood FnMyalgia (@GeoffKirwood) reported

@Gergyl Not just Optus have weak ICT. Consulting to @Telstra and their eCom LOLO was poorly performing. Wanted server upgrade, but I blamed code. Team uncoop, so logged into Oracle to pull stats (guessed admin pswd: "changeoninstall"). Cache miniscule, no stmt reuse. Took a year to fix.

  • Krungthepkris1 Krungthepkris - back home 🇺🇦🇹🇼 (@Krungthepkris1) reported

@RichardKGrump @TPG_Telecom 100%Aussie Broadband for Internet - I’ve discarded Telstra and Optus before - uselessly big - they have been brilliant since day 1 have NEVER had a provider that always exceeds the nominal line speed I pay for. Vodaphone for mobile after Telstra and Optus - quite ok

  • Gordana8888 Gordana (@Gordana8888) reported

@Telstra Coming up to 48hours and still unable make or receive calls. My neighbour is also with Telstra but they are having no problems. Who are you within the Telstra organisation?

  • ozziewiltshire Ozzie. Pro Choice! (@ozziewiltshire) reported

    @RichardKGrump @RobMax4 @TPG_Telecom I've never had a problem with Telstra.

  • beigewash ☮️ beigewash - PREFERENCES DID MATTER (@beigewash) reported

@brettk351 @noplaceforsheep Don't think that would help. Telstra would love that. Australia only has a handful of companies that OWN & maintain telecommunications infrastructure hardware. Most telecom companies are retail RESELLERS using these few companies infrastructure hardware.

  • AshleeLouise18 Ashlee Louise (@AshleeLouise18) reported

I live in an area that’s difficult to get reception for most people (Optus and Voda customers) and I have no trouble because it uses the Telstra network, only downside is no 5g but I was on Aldi prior to 5g being released so it’s no biggie for me.

  • McShayne2011 ً (@McShayne2011) reported

@drvyom 1. Someone calls your telco: "Hi Telstra/Amaysim etc, I lost my phone. But I got a new sim, can you transfer my number?" "no problem, let me just get a few details from you .." 2. They then go to your online bank etc: 'Forgot your password? Let us sms you a new one ..." Bingo.
