@hipstergeddon @mektronik It is a Telstra employee number, based on the Australian Government Service number. My AGS was 39538983. Telstra changed first digit to corresponding letter and last AGS digit is a check digit: C953898

I’ve adopted a new approach with @Telstra. When they stuff up a request I will cancel or downgrade something. After 4 chat sessions I was still getting stuffed around with a plan change. I cancelled the service. That’s $100p/mth not going to @andy_penn. Not paying for bad service

@Telstra Thank you. I’ve never set up an account myself, online in-store so I don’t know what has happened.

@digtoolsonline It’s not my day! @GeelongCats app doesn’t respond, so deleted it and am now trying to download from App Store. Of course, it won’t download (and it’s not an internet issue - I’m putting the blame on @Telstra - they’ve never really got this app business).

The people moving into my old place can’t connect their internet. Why? Because for three days I’ve been trying to get @telstra to disconnect our service. And of course they can’t connect the new customer until I do. How is that awful awful company still in business?

@voltagex @Telstra Telstra are being ***** lately. Forcing my charges up from January. I need to get around to lodging a complaint with the ACCC come to mention it.
-
T.W.

Telstra: "We're going to charge you $6/month more because **** you." Me realising they're abusing a monopoly position in regional areas and writing a complaint to the ACCC: Ok. You do that.

@Telstra don't even give you the option of speaking to anyone anymore, "download our app and someone will pretend to help you via text in the next 6- 48 hours"
-
Marcus Wong

@Telstra I recall reading somewhere the reason for this **** positioning is due to the location existing conduits - the new pits are bigger than the new ones, so when installed centrally on the conduit they impinge on the footpath. But surely there is a better solution?
