@Telstra As I wait for the bot to connect me to the tenth person in five hours I have used my time wisely while marooned on the desolate island that is @telstra customer service. After ten CS agents I have now compiled a list of answers to their repeated questions. Wish me luck.

@Telstra Inc. 21266921 no 4G back up, WIFI not working but Ethernet is. Telstra accept modem faulty. One Ethernet connection is not sufficient for everyone working here from home. Previously collected replacement modem from store. Can’t afford too wait another 4 business days. Thanks

@Telstra wait another 3-4 days to receive replacement Gen 3 modem? After 4 days of testing. Why can’t I collect from store? I have done previously when replacing your faulty modems. I work from home and can’t afford the lengthy disruption. Pay for premium service and get what?

@Optus You’d like to be a competition to Telstra but that’s not going to happen when it is not possible to become your customer (even though I am foreigner it doesn’t justify those difficulties). While case is simple - e sim prepaid offer for new customer

@MeredithCastles @Telstra I’ve been putting up with Telstra for decades. Their customer support service has always been useless and an absolute nightmare to deal with. Very poor management.
