@Telstra Thank you. I didn’t know that. It’s only until I can get into one of your shops (have to find a street side one & not one in a large shopping centre as I have mobility issues) to change it to my existing number which is so old it is a large SIM card and new one is a micro.

@nineislands TPG? I’ve been with them several years now with no trouble. I believe they aren’t as wide reaching as Telstra but it hasn’t hampered me so far.

Telstra said that’s the deal. I said when do you get around to providing real internet (currently FTTN 20th century tech connecting to 18th century tech) & all this for mega data I never use & Telstra claim to doing me a favour only charging $350 per month. Can I do better? Help

Shout out to @Telstra Macarthur for offering a 3 hour wait time to talk about my phone plan. Walked out sans phone and plan. Decided I didn’t need to wait that long to see if they were in stock. After last months $500 you may soon be sans customer.

@Telstra Thank you again Jo. While you’re here, could Telstra stop giving me late fees on top of my bills? I am on a low income and Telstra knows I have a HCC but still charges me extra just for being poor & behind in payments. I’m late paying because I struggle to make ends meet.

@nineislands There is really only 2 providers - Telstra or Optus as they are the only companies who have network infrastructure. The small retailers use one or the other, name your poison!
