well I just broke down and started sobbing on the phone to the Telstra customer service agent as he told me that he couldn’t directly issue refund but the amount would be credited on my next bill. I need that ******* money back right now

Hey @acccgovau. How come @Telstra is able to force people to pay by direct debit? How is that legal/ethical? I tried to cancel direct debit and they threatened to cancel my service if I did so!

Email from @telstra today saying my plan was going up and my upload speed was halving. Paying more and effectively getting less. Not pleased after being a customer for a squillion years. Time to start browsing other providers.

@Poupon123 @peggymel2001 One of the worst days in Australia’s history in my opinion. The man was a blatant liar! No GST. Only going to sell 1/3 of Telstra. Children overboard... HONEST JOHN for sure!

@paigecardona My complaint to Telstra ended up with the TIO. Still took 8 months to resolve. In the meantime gifs buffered. Don't go Telstra. I'm now with iiNet and great customer service, non existent at Telstra, and for the next 6 months I get a speed boost and I have 5G on WiFi.

@Telstra such a pathetic way to deal with your broadband customers. Can’t even reach people. waiting time to talk to customer care is min 40 min everyday.

@Telstra Trying to get a reply from the text help in the app. Keeps crashing. It’s now 36 hours since I sent the first message. 3-4 different agents involved. Back to sq1 every time. Contradictory messaging. Very frustrating
