@Telstra Sure Overstamping is the problem and the few businesses that use it could go without. And with that you eliminate the problem…..

@Telstra phone flicking between no sim and SOS only. Is there no network for mobile in Torquay 3228?

@max_au @Aussie_BB Yeah, except I pay more per month for my Telstra mobile service than I pay for NBN via Aussie, and when I asked Telstra for a second SIM that shared my primary data allocation, that was denied. I apparently have to spend another $80 a month to get a 2nd 5G-capable SIM.

If I am going to actually have no phone system that will service me, then Australia has no funding because Telstra is cut off from the bank. It is actually the police system that I won't give them any money from, because I won't fund them from there either.

Weirdly, I assumed they would be owned by governments, or even not be owned by anyone. Seems you can buy and put in your own cable network where you want. Obviously names like Telstra and Facebook have a few. Cool map though

@Telstra I used to be at work all day so never really noticed. Now I’m at home with lockdown and need to take mobile calls.
