Ok so @Optus kills off @virginmobile and make all customers switch to #Optus. The process has been a total stuffup. Hours spent on chat and then they cancel #Virgin service before Optus works. Oh and then it takes yet another chat. Makes @Telstra look amazing #pissedoff

@Telstra I keep getting told 24-48 hours and it will be completed, this was last week. I rang up on Thursday and I was told to wait another 72 hours. Absolute nonsense, just fix it or if you can’t tell me and I will go elsewhere.

@Telstra have throttled our backup 4G internet, which we have been using while we wait 4 months to get NBN installed... We can barely use the internet - can’t even FaceTime with loved ones 😞. Fortunately I have an open complaint with the ombudsman. Disgraceful. Cc @ACCAN_AU

@Telstra I’d be happy if you’d make my adsl work first, everytime I talk to an employee no one can give me an answer to what the problem is. And you have the cheek to send me the bill within the first 2 days. Terrible customer service too, useless.

@RBJRON @AussiemacJ @Telstra I'd absolutely demand a new one. You have to go really hard and be persistent. I got them to offer my old dad a (temporary) satellite phone when they failed to attend an appt to fix his landline. He can't use a mobile (hopeless at it) . They make a fortune from us.

@Telstra ahh good old Telstra. I have had no service,no data unable to send texts or receive them, unable to get calls since Christmas Eve. As soon as I can get to an Optus store I will be closing my account with Telstra, so over paying for a service that is not being provided.

@sandylanceley telstra have consistently reduced service while increasing prices. they were handed an artificial monopoly by the government w/NBN. also, refer CBA and MBP. Both had competitors well before privatisation, and both *sectors* are now objectively far worse for consumers.

@Telstra @Telstra this is an absolute joke! Your “outage” page is showing no issues but Im getting 0.2mb download speed. You need to fix this crap. We are paying for services you can not provide. We have a smart modem but because of the crap mobile service, 1 bar at best, it doesn’t work

@NathanWolfo Well the reason it might be different in NZ is Vodafone brought telstra NZ so it's a telstra built network but it changed now and in NZ it's not Vodafone it's One NZ
