    @Telstra Hello. Your velocity service has now been down for over three days. That is three days without internet, free to air TV Channels or mobile reception. Thanks goodness that my mobile is with another network or I’d be totally cut off. Please provide an update. I will be going to TIO

    @Telstra - no you can’t talk to a human. But you can’t text! It’s fun, just like two friends.....texts and this “live-chat” has now had one hour between responses from customer service. Your systems suck. Hire more people to answer the phone! There’s heaps of youth out there!

    @Telstra your NBN service is so so bad it’s beyond words - 0.1MBs “speed” for days, online help/chat is unmanned and over 1hr listening to your hold music!! Hopeless.

    @Telstra Hi Lara. It's a Telstra Marketplace Business Account. We were told services would be restored midnight last night but it wasn't and we haven't had an update since. Needs to be escalated. 100+ people relying on your service to run our organisation.

    Why ******** do I constantly have to log back in to 10play, 7+, 9now and also the ABC and SBS streaming through my Telstra TV. So ******* irritating.

    Just to update, there is no internet, no phone line and no Foxtel @Telstra . So there is obviously an outage in the Haberfield 2045 area of Sydney.

    @tomcollins76 Yeah, the independent systems it replaced did that and did it well. I've identified at least three specific issues but they boil down to overengineering (imho) and not gracefully handling flaky connections while Telstra 4G had a moment.

    @chrismurphys @Telstra When Optus first came onto the scene I couldn’t wait to get rid of Telstra. These days, I’d say, there all much a much. But, I’d never go back to Telstra.

    To make matters worse, Telstra also have a network outage with their mobile service in the area. This means connectivity to the outside world is void. If you needed to make an emergency call, nope. If people needed to contact you, nope. If you needed to work from home, nope

    Went to @Telstra Bondi Junction for help about updating a New system in my phone. First she asked whether I was with them. Yes, then another guy says that the Wi-Fi is down! What kind of service is that? These people are a putting down your name! #auspol

    @Telstra Hi. Unfortunately, still nothing has been done to fix our home internet problem and called the past three days and waited on hold for hours.

    @TomWatt91 @Telstra You’ve cut them enough slack already. From experience I’d suggest starting something with the Ombudsman – otherwise time will tick on with you waiting and you’ll end up wondering why you didn’t register the complaint in the first place. Also include CEO @andy_penn

    @Telstra It’s impossible to talk to a human when you call then customer care number. “customer care”.. more like customer hell. My wife had to cancel her passport and restrict her identity. Telstra should pay for a new passport after she got hacked by someone that got into your system

    @abcnews Internet access these days should be deemed a necessity / basic human right. If there was real desire from Govt, NBN Co, Telstra, Optus, Vodafone etc, this problem would not exist and this article would not be needed.

    @TheDog63440016 How odd. First telstra and optus have trouble. then woolies databases. then banks. i'm just going into a dither about online security 🤯 if only there were some kind of unhackable digital id that could rescue me from my fear of 1s & 0s being picked from the ethereal nothing
