Furious with @Telstra Have device with dead battery - very simple fix - but have to send off. Come on @Telstra

  • scottdoorey scott doorey (@scottdoorey) reported from Brooklyn, State of New South Wales

@WazzFi @martyn_rees @TheWLAN @Telstra @Stephen__Cooper Exactly. How hard can it be to build a standalone event Wi-Fi network within MCEC....

  • MarkPotten Mark Potten (@MarkPotten) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Telstra Too late I’m afraid given this issue has been on going since January 31st I should have been a high priority. The actions go to show how @telstra no longer value their customers. @optus

  • DiWebster worldwidewebster (@DiWebster) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@jordospeak @Telstra Then you’ll be wanting my bank details. I’ll DM you; I’m not stupid enough to put them here.

  • MitchOates Mitch oates (@MitchOates) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@TheSarahMoore @optusbusiness @Telstra Telstra is also rubbish. I left Telstra for Vodafone which is actually faster mobile phone speed and our Vodafone nbn is mint. Better service and cheaper too

  • MarkPotten Mark Potten (@MarkPotten) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@telstra @andy_penn can you please provide me with details of cancelling my accounts. This includes all mobile phones SIM cards and the failed home internet service. I count believe the culture of lies your staff and the staff in your stores continue to perpetuate. #overit

  • MarkPotten Mark Potten (@MarkPotten) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Telstra Also I have paid hard earned cash for equipment that is useless and redundant as I have no Internet service for which the items were purchased to be used with. Telstra wifi boosters. #customerservicefail

  • intersticia intersticia (@intersticia) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Telstra And your poor sales staff who can only say “I can’t help with that”, “I’m sorry, the system won’t let me” … This is not acceptable really

  • MarkPotten Mark Potten (@MarkPotten) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Telstra It does not matter why I went in there it was that one store member from rouse hill lied to me about the service I could obtain at castle hill.

  • intersticia intersticia (@intersticia) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Telstra And poor sales guy said having spare batteries in store would make his life much easier! So frustration for him, frustration for me - you could have sold me spare battery = $ for you, less angst for me. Instead now involving whole tech team for Netgear with dead battery. Idiocy!

  • manaz_d Robert Hudson (@manaz_d) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Telstra My area is not yet serviced by the NBN. @Telstra are still solely responsible for the service.

  • intersticia intersticia (@intersticia) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Telstra Of course not! Has to be sent to Tech to assess … a simple replacement battery would probably have sufficed. Given bureaucracy knows how long! 1. Very annoyed customer ( now thinking of cancelling service) 2. Tech over-kill on your end 3. Missed retail opportunity

  • JennaPrice Jenna Price (@JennaPrice) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

hey @NBN_Australia your blokes tore up my landline, promised it would be ok by the end of the day (and it isn't). Seems a bit rich to ask @telstra to fix it.

  • elhoelho elhoelho (@elhoelho) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@BrigidWD I'm with OPTUS. 18 years. Never a problem. I flicked TELSTRA after 2 years of poor service.

  • Zordabo Zordabo (@Zordabo) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

Telstra shop in randwick smells so bad, dude had to blast the place with Glen 20

  • MarkPotten Mark Potten (@MarkPotten) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Telstra As I said the speeds are better using the sim backup service than the fixed main line. As this was sold as a streaming service if 1.5mbs min then as you can see from your own app streaming is not capable of being delivered. So I have been sold a false deal @andy_penn

  • CSHauteCouture Collezione Santina (@CSHauteCouture) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

Appalling service again @Telstra in your flagship store at 4.30pm and told need to make an appointment to have a phone looked at. Not happy at all.

  • manaz_d Robert Hudson (@manaz_d) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

Another day, another intermittent 24hr outage on our @Telstra HFC (nom-NBN) service. Has been like this for over a week now. All sorts of excuses, no resolution.

  • Azizalamri16 Aziz ^_^ (@Azizalamri16) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Telstra I live in Ashfield, Sydney. I have been waiting for a week for The technical support to come to fix the modem in my house. I thought Telstra is the best company in Australia, but .....

  • nsbeverage Michael Cartwright (@nsbeverage) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

Epic #fail @Telstra! I’ve been trying to set up broadband internet since 18th Dec and nothing! Now I have a bill for $174 and no service. I’ve have countless conversations with your call centres and complaints dept and I’m going insane trying to get this sorted. I’ve had enough!

Telstra Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • realglj glj (@realglj) reported

@Telstra Sort your terrible service out my mate has been waiting almost 2 months for his internet to activate despite being billed for the first month

  • incidentalchaos incidentally... (@incidentalchaos) reported

Still in absolute disbelief over the complete #incompetence from @Telstra in relation to my Dad's request to unlock his phone from their network. 38 days and counting. And no I won't dm you #telstra

  • ScarabOfficial Scarab (@ScarabOfficial) reported

@searchfeast @AndyVermaut They are dynamic IP addresses from their Internet provider, seen by Twitter when they log in. You need the accurate time & date stamps to go with the dynamic IP addresses, for Telstra (their provider) to know which customer was on a particular IP at that time.

  • howdy7121 Bob (@howdy7121) reported

@Telstra is a joke - transferred two services across to a compulsory direct debit database a few months ago, just attempted to transfer a third - advised this is not possible on one bill - Telstra systems are ****, I now have two separate bills forever - its should be that hard

  • aroha_groves aroha groves (@aroha_groves) reported

So @Telstra upgraded, sent txts saying service wld be impacted on Sunday from 13/06/22 ie a week afterwards. Impacted alright.....havent had net since early Monday morn....at all. We are isolated enough out here.

  • rup31 Niall Holden (@rup31) reported

@iliasofjohn @easyelin @PRGuy17 Possibly - what he doesn't have is a super hacker who can identify the person without further legal action. Telstra isn't just going to hand the info over - and clearly Pfishing doesn't work

  • alistairp89 Alistair Pattinson (@alistairp89) reported

Hi @Telstra - we were just refused service while trying to purchase a new phone at 4:14pm because the store was closing soon. At 5pm. Is this how you treat prospective customers? Not sure if you're aware but some people work during the day and can't come earlier.

  • FellowGingy Gingy 🦁 (@FellowGingy) reported

@Thaldor We've got Telstra, Optus, belong, TPG , Aussie broadband , tangerine, superloop, iinet, dodo. And they'll all be super unreliable but we'll take your money no problem

  • acceler8er Michael Kouranos (@acceler8er) reported

@Telstra @3AWNeilMitchell What the hell am I doing? Or do you mean hide this conversation from public? Why? Why can you not give an answer on the ongoing problems on this phone line? @3AWNeilMitchell

  • howdy7121 Bob (@howdy7121) reported

@Telstra hi tweet team at Telstra is the most common word you use in tweets "frustrating" you need another like , "sorry we are ****" yes its 4 words but more accurate @andy_penn
