@Telstra on hold waiting to talk to somebody for almost 40 minutes and still waiting, really poor service

  • fiiingers Fred (@fiiingers) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Telstra Too late . I left. You all are so curious when we leave. Simple.. improve customer service. Respond quickly & efficiently. Not hard. But it is for telstra/foxtel customers.

  • wheelyweb Joe Ortenzi 🇨🇦 🇮🇹 🇦🇺 (@wheelyweb) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

I could write a book on my decade of interactions with @Telstra and the dozens of crap interactions. Layering the many other people who’ve had terrible interactions, it’s clear CX is failing on many, many levels. 1/2

@DanieTreg @Telstra There is a ... in the top of the app to either escalate or resolve the chat Trust me- escalation doesn’t involve a local op but it gets a response! So does raising a TIO issue!!

  • PSkip38 Paul Skip (@PSkip38) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Telstra did not provide a window so I could type in my question, bad web site construction & finally why not provide a paragraph on the bill to explain & I know that can be done. Overall extremely bad experience.

  • wheelyweb Joe Ortenzi 🇨🇦 🇮🇹 🇦🇺 (@wheelyweb) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@cameron_rogers I’ve been in many Telstra offices. There is no shortage of money there. But most customers face the poorly paid and badly trained support staff while the company focusses 95% on shares and dividends. Is that a good thing?

  • bradatslice Brad Keeling (@bradatslice) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@albericie @Telstra @albericie they are actually ok if you use the complaint login.

  • MC2Cities 💧MC2 (@MC2Cities) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Telstra Tom as per your instructions I spent an hour with your robot using your chat service today and have been terminated with none of my issues resolved. I am so angry! What number do I call for lodging a complaint.

  • wheelyweb Joe Ortenzi 🇨🇦 🇮🇹 🇦🇺 (@wheelyweb) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@cameron_rogers I’ve been in aus 12.5 years and know many very smart people, some who run successful businesses, and all have experienced terrible service fro @Telstra - and no,not being picky, but being told they bought X and received 8. That’s bad. Seriously bad. Inexcusable. And repeated.

  • MC2Cities 💧MC2 (@MC2Cities) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Telstra after spending 2 hours with a chat robot today trying to resolve my account security breach my access to my accounts have now been revoked! Unbelievable and still no-one calling me to help. Pathetic beyond belief.

  • MC2Cities 💧MC2 (@MC2Cities) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Telstra Hello Tom I have been trying to speak to tech support to since 29th July! Keep going around in circles! So who is going to call me to fix this theft of my identity breach by Telstra?

  • grouponegav Gavin Ryan 🇦🇺 (@grouponegav) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Telstra 1 hour 10 minutes and still on hold. Horrible customer service

  • Burgo0806 Courtney (@Burgo0806) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

Hi @Telstra I just went into one of your store as I want to port across 2 mobiles and home internet across from Optus. Much to my surprise, the customer service rep told me because I’m a new customer I can’t port across 2 phones. Is this accurate 😳

  • MC2Cities 💧MC2 (@MC2Cities) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Telstra My access has been revoked! What is the tech support number. I need to speak to a person not a robot

  • AUSFestivus Andrew Best shaving yaks ... mking endorphins (@AUSFestivus) reported from Hornsby, State of New South Wales

@yayKM Telstra has always run it afaik. They seem to do a good job. I can only recall a single widespread outage a few years back.

  • BeauGiles Beau (@BeauGiles) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@ValueInvestorMD @GoldinPaul After some recently venues got lax (ugh, complacency), govt considering making the Service NSW QR code *compulsory* (as a provided option). Sure beats the mishmash of awful forms and different websites - Maccas, Woollworths, Telstra stores, random cafes/pubs etc

  • grouponegav Gavin Ryan 🇦🇺 (@grouponegav) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Telstra 1 hour and 20 minutes on hold. It’s becoming laughable know. Seriously you need to fix up your customer service and employ more people to man the phones

  • FrankChoy1 Franck (@FrankChoy1) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@LennaLeprena @Telstra Never had good service. Telstra have a good mobile network in Tasmania and that’s it.

  • Burgo0806 Courtney (@Burgo0806) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@triff81 @Telstra Haha, their customer service is ****! I was looking at becoming a customer and bringing 3 contracts across, yet they couldn’t help me.

  • wheelyweb Joe Ortenzi 🇨🇦 🇮🇹 🇦🇺 (@wheelyweb) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

I know many brilliant people who have worked at Telstra, i also know many have fought hard for the customer. The human. The people who consume the service. I need to ask: is there something elemental in big orgs that impede CX success? 2/2

Telstra Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • Poonster1 Puneet Titoria (@Poonster1) reported

@Telstra Plus I’ve now got back in touch with the chat facility and they can’t access any previous details as the case is closed, so I’m having to go through the whole rigmarole again. Awful. Time for the TIO I think.

  • FluffyFrostbyte The Fluffy Frostbyte (@FluffyFrostbyte) reported

@Telstra Maybe if Telstra wasn’t a ******* joke people would take you seriously, overcharging for what I can see is obviously substandard customer service, I’d be happier if I wasn’t paying $80 a month for a plan that doesn’t even have a phone attached to it.

  • wvozd Ayik (@wvozd) reported

    ******** telstra

  • sthmel Tony Margaritis (@sthmel) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Telstra Arrrrrrgggg…… I’m like getting **** all data to sustain a chat, just get the boys to reboot the modem and router at the tower please.

  • Gary_AE Gary Austin-Eames (@Gary_AE) reported

@Telstra Yes but I still have the WiFi problem regardless. They did nothing to try and fix that which was the reason I called in the first place.

  • Todd_Sal Todd Sal (@Todd_Sal) reported

@Telstra Hi Anto. Not recently, no. It’s always been terrible here. I may have complained in the past, but it seems to fall on deaf ears. How do I raise it with those teams?

  • Richo38896671 Richo (@Richo38896671) reported

It's New Year's Eve and there is a outage with Telstra at Newman. We pay for this service? Well done Telstra and a happy new year to you!!

  • alexmakin Alex Makin (@alexmakin) reported

Seems like @telstra mobile coverage is patchy in St Kilda. While in my case that may just mean delayed social media posts, it could post a safety issue for many other people. Crowds in St Kilda for New Years is hardly surprising. How about you actually do better @Telstra?

  • alexmakin Alex Makin (@alexmakin) reported

@JimmyRob78 @Telstra Perhaps, but it doesn't excuse poor coverage or a lack of suitable service.

  • liamalexander 💉💉💉Liam Alexander (@liamalexander) reported

@Telstra I complained about a very rude member of staff several hours ago. Nothing has been done. Is being rude to customers and fobbing them off now @Telstra policy?
