    @RonniSalt @Telstra Parents are with Telstra. They live 30km out of town. Dad has cancer. Dad is 81 & unsteady on his feet. Took Telstra 10 days to fix their phone. Lucky they have mobiles. Telstra couldn't give two f&cks...

    @RonniSalt @Telstra Switched to Optus after being a lifelong Telstra customer. Have never looked back. Excellent, responsive customer service.

    Hey @Telstra, remember late last year we asked to get phone service in our street? You told us we actually have good coverage. I'd call but I can't. Anyway, **** off.

    @MeredithGow1 @RonniSalt @Telstra The telecommunications ombudsman's office told me that they get so many complaints that they can only give the necessary attention to a small fraction. But they do let the company know they've received a complaint so that might help.

    @RonniSalt @Telstra 6 hours and 50 minutes? What are you - a famous celebrity? I used to deal with them almost every day on behalf of IT clients. They never ever did the right thing by customers. But the technicians were excellent. I often got them to fix customers' problems.

    @RonniSalt @Telstra A friend worked there after some time in govt/ministerial work and said “they have the apathy of old-school public servants and the evil of a corporate”. The actual worst. Apparently they are not worried about competition.

    @MeredithGow1 @Telstra Thank you Meredith. Looks like that's where we're going. Two months of pleading & requesting a technician to fix the internet that has never worked. Nobody bothers to call back. Nobody turns up. It's like sticking your head down a toilet & screaming into an empty septic tank.
