Telstra you have a lot of explaining to do! Your company sucks *****! I'm glad that we are no longer with you! Stop sending us bills. You suck! Glad I'm not recommending you to other people!

  • cjnetlink
Cory (@cjnetlink) reported from Geelong, Victoria

Why is @3AW693 targeting @Telstra about the NBN and how it’ll cope with the increased load on the network. There are other providers of the NBN out there. #sheeple listening will take any slow downs or outages as being Telstra’s fault/problem.

  • SueCartwright1

Anyone else experiencing a @Telstra outage in Highton?

  • Jaseomeara
-jase- (@Jaseomeara) reported from Fenwick, Victoria

@NBN_Australia why is it so difficult to get issues rectified? I’m stuck in a loop between you and @telstra. Two years on and our nbn is still slow. It shouldn’t be this difficult.

  • _heleali
alisha. (@_heleali) reported from Geelong, Victoria

@Telstra your staff were unhelpful on the phone. @Ticketek_AU your website is not applying discount for any game, whereas the @Ticketmaster is applying the proper discount! Please help. Game is tomorrow!

@d00mg1rl @Telstra Poor elmo i could think of other folks who need to be roasted too🤔

  • monicasmeow
Monicasmeow🐈 (@monicasmeow) reported from Geelong, Victoria

@Henjam48 @JaneCaro @TonyAbbottMHR @NBN_Australia They’ve been set up to fail. Like most entities that are answerable to govt. The person responsible for it all is JWH. Had Telstra not been sold in the first place, it would have continued to upgrade its network and we may not have needed an NBN on the scale the ALP envisaged.

  • corymedia
Cory (@corymedia) reported from Geelong, Victoria

Didn’t realise @Telstra customer care was in such a precarious position. As for scripting of the IVR messages, doesn’t help when it says you can get answers online. It’s online’s inability to manage simple requests that requires customers to call.

  • errolatbh
💧Peter Flinn 🤷🏻‍♂️ (@errolatbh) reported from Fenwick, Victoria

@Telstra Thanks Stacey, word around town is that the tower was hit by massive thunder/lightning storm we had a few days ago. Maybe should be on the outage site 🤔

Dave Wood (@75b0ce8567df4cd) reported from Geelong, Victoria

@Telstra you forced me to go to the TIO when a simple phone call could have averted the need to involve the TIO. Your customer service ranks on top of the worst shit ever.

  • tonywalker1
Antony (Tony) Walker (@tonywalker1) reported from Fenwick, Victoria

Good Q. Down here in Seachange given up on the NBN. Use Telstra 4G box. Not good enough. NBN imposed.

  • Jaseomeara
-jase- (@Jaseomeara) reported from Fenwick, Victoria

@Telstra my wife has lost her phone and needs to divert it to another phone. She works in a hospital providing an essential service. Please help ASAP

  • RosewartTamara
Tamara Rosewarne (@RosewartTamara) reported from Drysdale, Victoria

@tallymarkz @Telstra Now, you get outages that’s weeks because they have nothing to force them to ensure their customers get a reliable service. In fact, if they were forced to pay customers one months line rental PER DAY the outage/fault continues beyond the initial timeframe; maybe customers WOULD

  • cjnetAU
Cory’s CJNET (@cjnetAU) reported from Geelong, Victoria

@jindivik For weeks the Telstra website has been reporting problems with their logistics as well. Maybe it’s all the same system. The problem must be serious... or seriously expensive to fix

  • CoryMedia
CORY 🎤 (@CoryMedia) reported from Geelong, Victoria

@lucyin_the @OMGTheMess @Telstra Well as a supporter of the Orange Idiot who deserves everything he gets, of course you didn’t find it funny. Now off with you. You have a tinfoil hat to make.

  • H_the_Cats_Fan
MsH (@H_the_Cats_Fan) reported from Geelong, Victoria

@Jack_Klompas @PatrickM_Gray Because the AFL want us to play at the G. We used to play all our home games at Marvel when it was Telstra Dome, and hardly any at the G. That’s the AFL’s fault, not Geelong. The AFL don’t give a **** about Geelong and the Bulldogs honestly.

  • Steve23_G
Steve G (@Steve23_G) reported from Geelong, Victoria

hey @Telstra getting flooded with texts about service disruptions on the 17th this week. Any chance they can do it another day considering we are in 5 day lockdown, home schooling & working from home #victorialockdown

  • diss_presso
    Max (@diss_presso) reported

@BrowntownBrew @robb_j_m In some cases. They would pay Telstra to use the pits, or Telstra itself would install fibre. This is an issue all over the world. We’re simply trading one monopoly (Telstra) for another (NBN). But there’s nothing to stop another company in theory from running their own fibre in dense areas - but not now of course, as they wouldn’t be allowed to undercut the NBN (hence the stupid NBN has actually made it so internet cannot be cheaper than how much they say it should be - law of unintended consequences - now the law is literally making cheap internet illegal).

  • TolsonKiefer
    Tolly 🇦🇺 (@TolsonKiefer) reported

@stevehearne7 @arbsmichael @Marilynrules1 A portion of Telstra was sold for $45b and the rest put into the future fund, totalling $54b+. Telstra is worth $62b right now. This was an excellent deal for Australia. Kevin Rudd introducing the NBN has nothing to do with Howard and Costello and it was also only $11b. Idiot

  • TomPlayford3
    Tom Playford (@TomPlayford3) reported

@Ben_Davison1 In years gone by NAB got their arse kicked in the UK; Telstra crashed spectacularly in China and the list goes on. Our biggest companies are all cossetted by a favourable regulatory environment and bugger all competition. Every time they try venturing overseas they fail.

  • AlanBixter
    Alan Baxter ♛ (@AlanBixter) reported

Usually @Telstra is happy to jump on line and offer a fix (of sorts) to complaints about their terrible service. Not today. They have no fix for no fibre, flooded and archaic coaxial, and massively overloaded 5G. Too long bullshitting govt and shareholders. They just can't cope.

    This Dalek's Workday 🇺🇦💉💉💉 (@YUHeff2BSoGreen) reported

ai isn't as scary as the blind trust some people have of whatever ai-tainted search result sits at the top of the page. this guy at the telstra shop tried to tell me an 11 digit number starting with 1888 was the boost support number. we don't have phone numbers that long.

  • louiewaterss
    Clay Waters (@louiewaterss) reported

Physically walked in to a @Telstra store to buy the new modem and they literally would not let me buy it. I have to ring up and enquire about it. What kind of system is that? You have the modem on display. It's in stock. I want to buy it. I'm a decade long customer! Joke

  • DanielBorrowman
    Daniel Borrowman (@DanielBorrowman) reported

@Telstra @Mention When did it become normal to be unable to simply visit the Telstra website or app to download a bill or view your calls and data usage? All you can do is download a few random receipts. Telstra Support claims, and I quote, “oh this is normal now…” I’m sorry to say Telstra but you’ve been infiltrated. Perhaps you should investigate the current and all past complaints and you’ll likely find some interesting information in the touch logs. 129472997 128259673 117509219

  • Tawnee69
At least my dog loves me ❤️🐕👩🏻‍🦰 (@Tawnee69) reported

@goldengreekjr @AshPolitik As PM, John Howard spearheaded a major privatization program, selling $71.8 billion in government assets between 1996 & 2007 to pay down national debt. Significant holdings sold included a majority stake in Telstra, shares in airports, shipping lines, and defence-related industry
