-
💧Peter Flinn 🤷🏻♂️ (@errolatbh) reported from Fenwick, Victoria@Telstra Thanks Stacey, word around town is that the tower was hit by massive thunder/lightning storm we had a few days ago. Maybe should be on the outage site 🤔
-
Monicasmeow🐈 (@monicasmeow) reported from Geelong, Victoria@Henjam48 @JaneCaro @TonyAbbottMHR @NBN_Australia They’ve been set up to fail. Like most entities that are answerable to govt. The person responsible for it all is JWH. Had Telstra not been sold in the first place, it would have continued to upgrade its network and we may not have needed an NBN on the scale the ALP envisaged.
-
ADEM 💫 (@AdemEve) reported from Geelong, Victoria@Telstra Says no outage in Lovely Banks but I cannot access anything 4G or 3G.
-

Antony (Tony) Walker (@tonywalker1) reported from Fenwick, VictoriaGood Q. Down here in Seachange given up on the NBN. Use Telstra 4G box. Not good enough. NBN imposed.
-
Darren Gilmore 🇦🇺 (@darrengilmore6) reported from Geelong, Victoria@KayeThetimothy @Telstra I'm having trouble with NBN but hopefully fixed Tuesday...
-
Cory (@corymedia) reported from Geelong, VictoriaDidn’t realise @Telstra customer care was in such a precarious position. As for scripting of the IVR messages, doesn’t help when it says you can get answers online. It’s online’s inability to manage simple requests that requires customers to call.
-
Anita (@neatafox) reported from Portarlington, VictoriaHi @telstra - there has been almost zero mobile internet 9am-9pm for 3 days in #portarlington - can’t load or use apps or send or receive anything except text. Could you pls consider another tower down here to cope with the holidays? 🤞🙏
-
Emily Wade (@EmilyAtDeakin) reported from Geelong, Victoria@millienankivell Oh, yes! I have lots of Telstra poor customer service stories too. :(
-
Steve G (@Steve23_G) reported from Fenwick, Victoria@Telstra hi can I get some help please... App chat has been on hold with me for 38 mins when we were going along swimmingly
-
Cory (@corymedia) reported from Geelong, VictoriaOne of Telstra’s selling points for their upcoming Upfront Mobile Plans (basically prepaid), is that you can’t go over your data limit, speeds are just reduced for the remainder of billing cycle. The fact is, this network feature has been available for around two years.
-
Dave Wood (@75b0ce8567df4cd) reported from Geelong, Victoria@Telstra you forced me to go to the TIO when a simple phone call could have averted the need to involve the TIO. Your customer service ranks on top of the worst shit ever.
-
Sue Cartwright BA (@SueCartwright1) reported from Geelong, VictoriaAnyone else experiencing a @Telstra outage in Highton?
-
Cory (@cjnetlink) reported from Geelong, VictoriaWhy is @3AW693 targeting @Telstra about the NBN and how it’ll cope with the increased load on the network. There are other providers of the NBN out there. #sheeple listening will take any slow downs or outages as being Telstra’s fault/problem.
-
Teknia (@TekniaMusic) reported from Geelong, Victoria@d00mg1rl @Telstra Poor elmo i could think of other folks who need to be roasted too🤔
-
-jase- (@Jaseomeara) reported from Fenwick, Victoria@NBN_Australia why is it so difficult to get issues rectified? I’m stuck in a loop between you and @telstra. Two years on and our nbn is still slow. It shouldn’t be this difficult.

Audrey (@AudreyTay31079) reported@ellymelly Yes it is. My regional medical centre I have had the same doctor at for 30 years has been sold about a year ago. It’s now run by an offshore call centre in India and is now full of Indian doctors and I use that term loosely. I will never go to an immigrant doctor. Also in my small regional town , the Telstra shop all Indian staff, two of the 3 Pizza shops are Indian run, women walking around in Saris, all delivery drivers Indian. It’s an invasion!
-
Brent Hodgson (@BrentHodgson) reported@deborahbrian @aaronsmith @DHughesy Nor did the surpluses. Three-quarters of the $96 billion paid down under Howard (~$71.8bn) came from one-time public asset selloffs - including Telstra, Commonwealth Bank, DASFLEET, defence assets, Brisbane Airport, Melbourne Airport, Perth Airport, National Rail, Adelaide Airport, Darwin and Alice Springs Airports, Canberra Airport, Hobart Airport, the Australian Industry Development Corporation, Broadcast Australia (transmission towers)... A lot of those assets were sold at knock-down prices too - e.g. Broadcast Australia was sold at $650m, then the buyer sold it for twice that shortly after.
-
The Noisy Elephant (@TheNoisyTrunk) reportedWhy are you fuckwits so dim? @eddys199 Australia was NOT debt-free in 2006. The Commonwealth had NET debt after selling our gold and major assets like Telstra. Australia still had significant state debt. The trouble with you morons is you read a headline, dive into a rabbit hole that even rabbits won't go in and come out all covered in old mouldy ****. Major contributors included: →Selling public assets (privatisations), most notably the government's remaining stake in Telstra, which raised tens of billions of dollars. →Strong economic growth during the mining boom, which boosted tax revenues. →A long period without major recessions or global crises until the GFC. Pauline Hanson is looking for a house 'friend' - you should apply.

BOB ACHMAR (@maroniteMAGA) reported@FreedmFightr1 Too many personal info,,, ffs Telstra origin and how many others got hacked,,, what says census won’t get hacked,, seriously wtf 🤬 I believe massive fine possible jail if not completed
-
Yvonne (@YBartolovic) reportedYes it’s disgraceful just as bad as @Telstra and everyone else telling us to stay say and get jibbed we had to see it daily on the phones I had my phone off so go nothing ! There lol
-
Jonco Dua (@joncodua) reported@JimThom90458694 Another Telstra Outage and then Cash is the only option
-
Red Rivers (@RedRivers994225) reported@ImJulianAssange This is interesting. He's going toe to toe with Telstra in Australia over regional dead zones , for mobile phone subscribers. They have had a monopoly way too long on infrastructure leasing. That has largely been payed for with taxpayer subsidies and credit guarantees. Canada would be similar. They said they support "deregulation" right ? is that only for the international "bond, banking, equities" currency skimming goons and their European aristocracy "stakeholders'? " LOL cause I know Trev and Deb in Penrith won't see a cent in benefit. Maybe cheaper street fentanyl...for the "Asian importers"
-
afraid_au (@afraid_au) reported@AirsKeaton Nothing yet, I've tried contacting Telstra but because I'm not a Telstra customer they won't even talk to me.
-
Recon Bull (@ReconBull) reportedThere has been no fresh commercial announcement between $ASTS and Telstra (ASX:TLS), although Telstra now appears on the AST website! Still, these numbers from Telstra’s current $SPCX Starlink-powered satellite service are pretty interesting: 26m+ satellite texts sent or received. 2.9m+ customers connected at least once. 200k+ connections per day, up from 80k at launch. Weekends and holidays are the busiest periods. Telstra has around 24.9m retail mobile and device services, so roughly 12% of its entire base has already connected via satellite in just 13 months. Australia itself only has a population of around 28m. Obviously this is Starlink, not ASTS, and these are users rather than paying satellite subscribers. But the bullish read-through is pretty clear. Theres obviously an announcement Incoming and demand for direct-to-device connectivity is not theoretical, even in a relatively small country with strong existing mobile coverage. If other regions see anything close to the same adoption, the potential usage across AST’s 3b+ partner subscriber base becomes pretty ridiculous.
