    Well after 15 years it’s see ya @Optus & hello @Telstra I can’t believe in 2019 Optus cannot provide a 4G service in Prahran & they don’t have any plans to upgrade that black spot either. It baffles me. Oh well, a complaint to the TIO means I pay nothing to leave. #ByeFelicia

    @Telstra I tried this to no avail! My internet is not working. I’d like to know if there’s an outage in Preston, Vic. So that I can rule it out if there’s not one and send for a technician.

    @UndaSthnXiStand @larry_blunders @OptusEnterprise Telstra has NOT started switching 3G off. They did turn their 2100MHz network off a few years ago, but the 850MHz network has not.

    @Pamelanicholls6 @andrewofoz @JaneCaro @Telstra I do that too, using my phone as a hotspot. But that chews through the data allowance and they (in my case Optus) don't let you have extra phone data because the internet is down. They still charge $10 a Gb for extra usage over the monthly allowance.

    @Telstra hi, I m on vacation in australia and i bought a 30$ Telstra SIM Kit . Unfortunately my German iPhone6s says “could not activate mobile data network” i activated as describe in the package , via Telstra Website and Hotel WiFi . Every Tipp is appreciated .. 😉

    Hey @Telstra I’ve been given the run-around about this outage in my area, Preston Vic. We’ve had no internet since Friday, it was scheduled to be resolved by 7pm tonight. This isn’t good enough. I’ve gone over my mobile data limit twice as I’ve had to do assessments for uni.

    @AlanBaxter I switched from Telstra to Telechoice who use the Telstra towers because it’s cheaper and you aren’t paying for features you don’t use. Telstra have been spamming me since and I have an open complaint against them with the TIO as a result.

    @Telstra Yes, I’ve launched a complaint with the Telecommunications Industry Ombudsman about this whole debacle. You nor anyone at Telstra, have still not given me an explanation as to why there was an outage for 4 days.

    @Telstra Someone in India eventually picked up and said they'd call me back tomorrow. If I treated my customers like you do, they'd want to dump me too. I have come to the conclusion that I have had enough. Anything else just encourages this low level of service.

    @Telstra To answer your question though I live 50km from lake Cargelligo. I can see the huge tower on the hill 30kms away. I have 1 bar service on phone as speak. .

    @bradT52711844 @Telstra Yep it sucks. We recently moved to Telstra after 14 years with westnet, thinking the infrastructure would give us a more stable faster speed. Very inconsistent. What's worse is our 4g is hit and miss and generally outdoor reception only.

    @Trace72467320 @SpaceX It wasn’t for me. Telstra & NBN both refused to fix our FTN with pitiful@speeds so we got Starlink. Wayyy faster and more reliable. A bit dearer but if paying for Starlink speeds with Telstra it would be three times more expensive. Very happy with Starlink. 👍

    @Telstra @PeterJamesRoth6 Congestion is why mobile is junk and FTTP was the future but your company extorted Australians for exchange/upgrade access. You were shonky with ADSL2+, VDSL and FTTP for your largely monopoly customer base.

Cheap, reliable and good service if there's any problems (I haven't had any at all here) I'm in Kenwick. Their modem, or BYO- me

    @cdotswann @Telstra Moved house 12mnths ago...literally 500m and the performance is just night and day...a handful of problems in 9yrs to almost monthly issues...and they just blame ea other for it...TBF the customer service I get from @Telstra when I complain is 'good' but doing it over and over...
