Problem is raising private capital, so...Commonwealth finances them; Koreans manage the build because they know WTF they are doing. Then IPO it, float it like um...Telstra. But market cap @ 35%. No more cartel bullshit.

It raised $60bn to sell the assets, then we spent $60bn on NBN Co just to regain access to the assets sold and duplicate/upgrade the network we sold - and Telstra has paid something like $80-85bn in shareholder dividends along the way. In many respects, NBN shouldn't exist. It should have been the $80-85bn in "shareholder dividends" to the Public Owner that paid for the fibres to be laid - not a $60bn investment after a $60bn sale. But NBN was forced to be created after a now-shareholder-owned Telstra responded to how it might build a national broadband network with a non-compliant 12 page letter effectively saying "we won't - the copper wires are our privately-owned monopoly and we want to protect our market monopoly".

We passed with flying colours (most of us) We now add the national telstra emergency alert to QR codes, cameras etc and then all we need is a social score system. “ none shall buy or sell except with the mark”

Red Rivers (@RedRivers994225) reported@ImJulianAssange This is interesting. He's going toe to toe with Telstra in Australia over regional dead zones , for mobile phone subscribers. They have had a monopoly way too long on infrastructure leasing. That has largely been payed for with taxpayer subsidies and credit guarantees. Canada would be similar. They said they support "deregulation" right ? is that only for the international "bond, banking, equities" currency skimming goons and their European aristocracy "stakeholders'? " LOL cause I know Trev and Deb in Penrith won't see a cent in benefit. Maybe cheaper street fentanyl...for the "Asian importers"
