always had a problem with internet from where I live, (900km from sydney servers) and getting averages of 80ping in game. just got new powerline adaptors (1000mbps) and my ping is better by 15-20 on average. cant wait to get telstra!

@Optus Don’t put up with Telstra’s and Optus’ poor customer service. Say hello to Vodafone. (Been seriously impressed by them since switching from Optus. You can actually call and talk to someone! Can’t do that with Optus)

In NZ-originating comparisons w Australia, few recognise a very significant difference. National broadband infrastructure. NZ got it right. Australia didn’t - still not widely available & fast FTTP. Still reliance on decades-old Telstra copper network. That’s all. #nzpol

@Telstra Unreal - I found a number and a real human, and my weeks-long issue was solved in 7 minutes. Who’d have thought a phone call could be so useful? (Clearly not the nation’s biggest telecommunications company...)

i'm at telstra trying to buy a phone. literally. just give them the full amount & walk out with it. but i have to wait 45mins for a service slot.
