  @accent_trace @ktdenise I think I had a minor mental glitch I did the calc using 24 months out of habbit, so yeah it’s more like only 500 a year cheaper, still hard to find an actual benefit to Optus/Telstra’s over priced plans. 10 years ago, you’d get an iPhone and service for $40 a month.

  @PremiumHeart88 @AussieLeafsDan @Telstra The cell tower that services our town was "Taken down for planned maintenance" for a week without notice. We had to look up why we had no cell service.

  @telstra my prepaid mobile internet is very poor in inner Melbourne. Only works intermittently. Is there a problem with it? Are others experiencing this?

  Really unsure, but I’ve seen the same sort of buffoons rise to the top at Aust Post, Telstra, etc. The phrase “**** floats to the Top” is pretty common in Govt Industies. Good thing is, once they get there, their incompetence is exposed for all to see. Nowhere to hide.

  @BassonBrain @Jessdistrict11 @SpaceX I live 10km from the ocean, between two major cities. No phone signal in many many locations on our major highways. Cannot send a text while talking on the phone. I have two Telstra numbers, highest cost plan. Without Starlink mini mounted in everyone of our commercial cars, no comms. Australia has no world class highway connecting cities. Has no coastal phone network or fast internet. It’s 2026 and I though I would be in a flying car, reality is I cannot make a call and text simultaneously.

  @Mr_Fanta_Pants @Telstra Why did she switch? Aren’t Southern under Telstra, the problems would be the same. With all the issues I had with them at work and home I dumped them 34 years ago. They still think they’re a monopoly.
