@GrogsGamut @Telstra Then Telstra offered me $200 as compensation. When I said that was inadequate compensation for the twenty hours of work I spent trying to get my internet back, or for the risk to the life of my patients, they told me that they would give me nothing, and close the complaint.

@GrogsGamut @Telstra RIGHT????? Holy ****, most infuriating 'service' EVER I have a $30 credit with them after cancelling service and they charged me anyway. I'm willing to 'pay' that $30 to not have to deal with that f-ing service to organise a refund.

  • JohnLutge John Lutge (@JohnLutge) reported

@GrogsGamut @Telstra And will struggle with more complex issues as they lack the comms and infrastructure that they normally have access to. Telstra now provides one of the worst levels of customer service in the industry. Unless you have access to an Australian contact.

@boxcar808 @GrogsGamut @Telstra The TIO said that couldn't do anything for me. They are set up to help a business that loses money from Telco issues in a much differebt way than me. The TIO didn't give a stuff about what happened to me.

@GrogsGamut @Telstra and cancelled that one as well without telling me, this happened 4 times in total. 16 hours wasted waiting for someone to turn up that was not going to. After the fourth time I rang iiNet and got an appointment that day and have not looked back. Telstra suck, never use them.

@birdnoises Only if significantly under (more than 50 percent) the average speed indicated in your contract.I nailed Telstra when I moved from Optus for a few months for breach of service contract when they tried to charge me early departure fees.

@GrogsGamut @Musing_Dayzed @Telstra But Aussie resell Telstra as a mobile service.

  • lulucoman Lucinda Coman (@lulucoman) reported

@GrogsGamut @Telstra 30 days trying to buy a phone plan, w/ added “complexity” of porting old number. 1 store visit, 1 chat lasting 8 hours, + 1 dedicated customer complaint officer - now I have the phone, but not my old number. “Not possible” they now say. Appalling.
