My alternative is standing in a corner of paddock trying to get one bar of service on a phone. In the real world it’s so much better than any of the crap Telstra tried to get to work.

As long as the people representing the tax payers are legit and not multimillion dollar leeches like we had with Telstra. And also they must be born in Australia. If I want to work from home, corporate vpn 5-10 up plus voice 2 to 5 up, plus remote support ( usually SCCM remote) 5 to 10 up, plus all the stuff my home network is doing as per above and you can see that I'm hobbled on 20Mbps up line rate, I actually need 40

They cancelled five appointments made for me via Telstra saying not an NBN problem. But it was just like the other three times. Now have Telstra 5 G. So simple

Will G (@willgotsis) reported@Gatty54 Worst part was, we called Telstra the next day to say it was fraudulent as payment pending, long story they said we’ll stop it, no they didn’t, 3 days later payment cleared. Others were good and cancelled. In the end we got all our money back, but what a pain in the arse.
