@godless_mom @jwesthora @Rogers Wow. I always assumed Australia was expensive for mobiles. I'm paying $55 a month for unlimited calls, texts and 40G a month. That's on Telstra, the most expensive network but with best coverage. Prices only go down from there.

@Telstra I am still on the chat with EXPERT. It says finally I will be able to talk someone from porting team. Amount of time I had to explain this is a porting issue is ridiculous.

@BetterHealthGov I understood that NBN set up 2 satellite trucks with wifi and mobile device charging in the area. Telstra and Optus would require power like everyone else to run their service’s.

  • iMarkPhillips Mark Phillips (@iMarkPhillips) reported

Sadly @telstra Support, Complaints and Porting were stupendously bad at solving their own problems. It was only through kind efforts of personal contacts inside of Telstra that a solution was found. Thank you to those contacts and @Optus for your patience and support.

  • CavalierCoder BreakfastMan (@CavalierCoder) reported

Gotta love how @Telstra send me my Nighthawk M5 modem practically the next day but take another 8 days, two technical supports calls, one Telstra shop visit, one escalation, three different SIM cards and still no service number or connection. Order still pending...

@SaltyWedges @XboxANZ @FlinEHS If you have an existing Telstra service, you could try signing up for the All Access option with them. Certainly my local Telstra store had stock when I last asked about it.
