  @immyonboard It was a complete failure. It is not in a good enough state to be released. Requiring iOS 26.4 or later is absolutely not acceptable. The government is stupid and didn't force the carriers to push the carrier bundles to older iPhones, so the ********* at Vodafail, Floptus and Telstra only pushed it to iOS 26.4 and later! Android devices got it fine though

  Melbourne, Aust: Has anybody else who is with Telstra (or Boost or ALDI mobile, etc) had calls going silent mid call and having to hang up and call again? Only started yesterday. Not just me .. two other people I know. Have lodged a complaint with @Telstra and waiting.

  @goodfoodgal It was all about the money/share prices and to test our compliance. We passed with flying colours (most of us) We now add the national telstra emergency alert to QR codes, cameras etc and then all we need is a social score system. “ none shall buy or sell except with the mark”

Telstra launched Australia’s first satellite texting product in early June 2025. One NZ added app data, including WhatsApp voice calls, in February 2026. SoftBank and docomo launched in April 2026, making Japan the only market where three operators run live Starlink services. Globe became the latest in the sequence in June 2026 with the Philippines’ first commercial satellite-to-mobile permit from the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC).
