    Been on hold for an hour on phone for @Telstra Technician from Total Microsystems who was here for an hour & checked everything said ring Telstra. Speeds upload & down abysmal here. And can't get NBN.

    @Telstra Thanks Cas. We were never answered after 4 hours and I just gave up and used forums in the end to help fixing it ourselves via the gateway. It really isn’t good customer service when your offshore Telstra customer service team just ignore people though...

    @Telstra I tried all of those on Saturday when the internet was being slow and none worked. The online troubleshooting froze 4 times at 75% "Checking my plan" so I gave up. And there is nothing helpful in the support page. The internet has picked up somewhat to 6 Mbps but pay for NBN 50.

    @samanthamaiden That's an oldie. Other one is caller who says NBN has discovered problem with your modem. NBN never deal with public (there are rare exceptions) even Telstra or other retailers don't ring you out of the blue to tell you you have a problem.

    @grissomsladybug Ahhhh the Telstra run around, i would advise them you want to speak direct to their supervisor for a faster solution.
