cartesian self boy 🧠 (@zzap) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria
@Telstra It won’t be processed. Because the tool is down they allegedly cannot transfer credits at all. Telstra is going to SNAIL MAIL me a CHEQUE like it’s 1992. I wasn’t even born in 1992. Your internal processes are a bit of a joke sometimes!
-
cartesian self boy 🧠 (@zzap) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria
I requested a credit transfer from one @Telstra account to another THREE weeks ago and it never happened. Apparently their “credit transfer tool” is broken but no one bothered to get in contact with their affected customers (me) about it. Thanks, Telstra.
-
Stacey Murray (@alfalfasocial) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria
@Telstra Angela please dont bother. This is a complete stuff up. I will leave it to the Ombudsman to fix. I have no faith in @Telstra .
-
Monicasmeow🐈 (@monicasmeow) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria
@ShaunHodgins @AltoCarol @crownsfive1 @billshortenmp Yeah I don’t agree. One example, Telstra would never have been sold off. Telco infrastructure would have been maintained and upgraded. The NBN may not have been required and thus we would not have had to buy back and rent infrastructure that was previously owned by the tax payer
-
Stacey Murray (@alfalfasocial) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria
39. Called Case Mgr - not available. Called Case Mgr appointed to handle Ombudsman complaint - not available. Emailed customer service champion - no response. Happy Monday @Telstra .
-
Gary collie (@royboygash) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria
Why in this world of the Internet can an Aussie business in a new factory wait Seven weeks to have the Internet installed.. because Telstra has off shored it’s customer services & the local council chanced the business estate’s addresses on the day of install @billshortenmp
-
Heather Marie Little (@heathermarielit) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria
No WiFi for 48 hrs, on the phone for 45 mins yesterday, was promised a call back this morning - never happened. Now been on hold for over 45 mins after advised of a 12 min wait! Terrible customer service from @Telstra Also your hold music is dire. #badcustomerservice
-
Ahmed Khalaf (@aykay8) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria
Forget the banks - we need a royal commission into telcos and their horrendous customer service 🤕😤 @Telstra
-
Stacey Murray (@alfalfasocial) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria
@Telstra Kathy, I have been promised many, many call backs that never happen. For the last 3 days I've been advised a return call "as soon as the system is back up". Hasn't yet happened.
-
Stacey Murray (@alfalfasocial) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria
37. Still no update from @Telstra. No return call from case manager. No return call from customer care champion, no update on 2- application (lodged 9 days ago), no update on fast track application lodged 10 days ago).
-
Stacey Murray (@alfalfasocial) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria
36. @telstra can't provide me with any update as their system is down. Perhaps they're having trouble with their internet access.
-
crash-in-dirt-later (@ajft) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria
Ah the simple joy of stringing along the Indian accented "Anna Smith" from "the technical department of Telstra, your internet service provider". Made it to 4 minutes before she hung up on me. #telstra #remoteaccess #scam
-
Madonna Buiter (@MadVet2000) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria
@Telstra Absolutely, was promised a priority call back within 24 hours last Wednesday..... 2 hours on the phone this issue has been ongoing for over 3 months... still not sorted, unless I call, all I get from your copmlaints dept is *crickets*!!
-
Madonna Buiter (@MadVet2000) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria
@Telstra Maybe some service and call backs to resolve complaints to your retail customer's would go a long way....
-
Stacey Murray (@alfalfasocial) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria
30. @Telstra sends a number of flippant, unhelpful and glib responses to this string. "Keep us in the loop" + "sorry you have not received the service you expect" + "understand your frustrations". S 31. Still no response to fast track request. 24-48 hours is now 6 days.
-
Stacey Murray (@alfalfasocial) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria
@AttardMon @NBN_Australia Apparently not, Mon. We're in "transition phase" so although @NBN_Australia has responsibility for the infrastructure, @Telstra is still managing the service but has to defer to NBN for any works. As you can imagine, that works well.
-
Stacey Murray (@alfalfasocial) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria
@Telstra Here it is Tanasha. SR 1-1828660335430. Good luck. I hope you can help where so many (SO many) of your colleagues have failed.
-
Stacey Murray (@alfalfasocial) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria
6. @Telstra says cancel the order and reorder and all will be fine. 7. LOL only joking the say after two weeks. 8. @nbn digs up our nature strip and three of our neighbours' strips. Lays cable 9. Telstra attends and says NBN has done a shoddy job.

Hi @Telstra my internet was supposed to have been set up today and I found out that the modem sent out has a known firmware issue. Very frustrating

@Telstra Meanwhile our energy company sent us multiple notifications during their issues on Friday. Good on them for being so customer-first.
-
Phillip Wilkie (@WilkieIT) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria
@Telstra hopeless service #Doncaster, staff doesn’t answer phone. Been trying since 9:30am. 15 minutes wait time just to get a phone outright. I would fire every single last person there.
-
Bo Reidler (@2020digging) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria
@Telstra I’ve been waiting for a Telstra service person to arrive - was told b/w 8.30am to 12pm. No call, no show. Typical Telstra!
-
Robert Nash (@robertnash74) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria
@FOXTEL_Help @Telstra hi - just wanted to advise our cable @Foxtel and cable bigpond internet have both gone down simultaneously. Both come in off one cable, then via a splitter, so suggest an issue outside of property. No outage listed, so wanted to ensure u knew!
-
Scott Stirling (@SJ_Stirling) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria
@Telstra Thanks for the reply. Another outage tonight.... extended wait times to chat with human consultant online...

-
Bo Reidler (@2020digging) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria
@Telstra service down again and the wall plug powering my Router literally blew up! Freaking f’ing dangerous! I have an idea-all Telstra NBN feeds should be monitored and for every time it drops out a % of the monthly fee+ penalty should be deducted.
-
Tony Tamplin (@tonytamps) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria
@Telstra What a wonderful scam. I spoke to Optus yesterday and they claim that downtime is automatically not billed on all plans. I'm getting sick of the Telstra model of high rates and high effort to get basic services. Sure, you'll rebate, but the burden is on the customer.
-
Tony Tamplin (@tonytamps) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria
@Telstra For the first time ever the outage page has an outage listed! Expected resolution time ticks down to a couple hours left then back to 2 days... So it's not very useful. It hasn't moved off "Investigating" and I know that you don't investigate faults on the weekend.
-
Karthick Muthuraj (@mgkarthick) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria
Hi my Adsl internet not working. I raised s complaint with reference no 169716935. However, no action has been taken so far. 2 days. No calls. No call center picks my call @Telstra
-
Tony Tamplin (@tonytamps) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria
Second time in a month @Telstra has broken the cable service in my area on a Friday afternoon then doesn't work the weekend to fix it. Some of us do work weekends, some of us work from home.

@Telstra @MichaelWestBiz I now face down the NBN in my street. This is what is known as a lost cause :(
-
Mark Dickenson we are being harvested by oligarchs (@bugwannostra) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria
@t_coxsen @Ausshot3Dave @Telstra @MichaelWestBiz At the very least you shouldn't pay for what you have never received.
-
Mark Dickenson we are being harvested by oligarchs (@bugwannostra) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria
@t_coxsen @Ausshot3Dave @Telstra @MichaelWestBiz I've often wondered why as consumers we don't get refunds for breakdowns in service. So many times over the years phones & or internet are down and we get no compensation.
-
Dale V (@DaleV34) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria
@Telstra My cable internet has been out for almost 24hrs. It’s acknowledged but there has been no reasons given. Any help would be great.
-
mike (@AussieSpringbok) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria
@Telstra has a known issue with their crappy @bigpondmovie app with streaming to chromecast but they are more than happy to let people continue to spend money to try to use it and will only give you a “credit “ on the same platform which is useless. #notgoodenough
-
Mark K (@mark_melb) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria
@Telstra When the NBN finally rolls out we will have the really poor cabling that has been botched in redone and more than likely a different provider.
-
watotiger (@watotiger) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria
Trying to get customer service from Telstra, like trying to get a 100 opening partnership in Aus cricket. Impossible

No internet for 36 hours and counting = worst nightmare for kids on school holiday 😩@Telstra
-
Chris Lesley (@Chris_Lesley) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria
@NBN_Australia The NBN actually works really well at their house. Just the problem was they went offline with no internet as Telstra switched them over with no plan or consultation.
-
Toby Nieboer (@tcn33) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria
@Telstra Yes, I already spoke to them (that’s where I got the resolution date of 28/12) and received a small data allowance bump to one device - that helps me but does nothing for the rest of my family. I’d rather you just fix the issue tbh.
-
Toby Nieboer (@tcn33) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria
@Telstra Premium price for a premium service, ha.

@RobOakeshott1 The best I've EVER got is c;7mbps & paying $115 mth for 30gigs data & now the bastards at Telstra won't let us use my partners iphone as a wifi hotspot to use the data on her phone, but wants top charge us $10/gig because we haven't signed up to a "shared data plan" or some shit!
-
Acridzero (@xAcridzero) reported
@Telstra No, I already checked that's why I messaged Twitter. Seems to happen pretty regular, Works great and then all of a sudden bam.. No connection. We've logged many service cases.
-
Jaiden Wichelow (@SyntheticDubStp) reported
@Ninja @BasicallyIDoWrk I got an ad for Telstra before watching this... thought the ad was the video you put in the tweet. Was legit like wtf
-
John Connell (@JconnellJohn) reported
15 business days have now passed without contact but have received email from @Telstra stating we believe we’ve sorted out your issue now. Well you haven’t. Don’t close jobs without confirmation. You don’t give a rats about customer service.
-
Max Clear (@MaxClear3) reported
@Telstra hope your customer service is better but i am betting it is not
-
Peter Anderson (@zerogeewhiz) reported
Andy Penn whining to the ABC that there’s “no margin” on NBN is laughable. Actually complained about the market distortion of the wholesale pricing. (I understand there are problems, but boo-hoo Telstra)
-
Helen - Union thug (@HelenArtacho) reported
A friend rang Telstra to complain about scam NBN calls on her landline. Telstra fixed the problem by cutting off my friend’s landline! As she doesn’t have a mobile, she now has a bigger problem than she started with.

Day 6 of @Telstra’s poxy failure of an internet service. FIX YOUR DAMN EXCHANGE. And stop waisting our damn time!
-
Incendium (@Incendium_Satus) reported
@Telstra At this point in time I doubt anyone will show up on Tuesday. Furthermore the 4G connection from the modem is so woeful it can only support one device and barely then. Now we are having to use our phone data so that will be a great profit for @Telstra seeing as we can't bundle...
-
Incendium (@Incendium_Satus) reported
@Telstra On the outage request I put my mobile number down as the contact. Your call centre in who knows what part of the world has been calling my Wife incandescently leaving rather rude voicemail messages. My Wife is on deployment in NSW fighting fires. This is why my number was given.
