  • BillieHill64 Ade (@BillieHill64) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@MattThomas1405 I feel your pain. I once had an issue with Telstra that meant we ended up with no internet. After 3 months of useless advice and zero help from them I ended up diagnosing & fixing the problem myself. I now try and avoid dealing with them at all…

  • Niksterisms Nikki Clare (@Niksterisms) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

Oh the @Telstra saga continues. So, Telstra won’t issue me a refund themselves. Oh no. I have to go through BPAY and my bank to request the refund. You guys are a piece of work. You have my money but someone else has to refund me. Absolute joke.

  • Niksterisms Nikki Clare (@Niksterisms) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

Oh @Telstra I’m also $300+ in credit, but apparently your new system doesn’t talk to your old system, so will I ever be refunded that amount? The reason that I was ahead on my plan was because I set up my own payments to avoid being giving a bad credit rating you once threatened

  • Adam_Goldman Adam (@Adam_Goldman) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Zelda_Doyle @Telstra I’m with @Optus it’s much the same. They actually blocked me when I raised an issue here.

  • PeterBannan5 Peter Bannan (@PeterBannan5) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Telstra That takes me to sign in, which takes me back to my account and the app.

  • PeterBannan5 Peter Bannan (@PeterBannan5) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

Hey @Telstra, your app is down. Makes it difficult to pay you…

  • Piiiiickles Pickles (@Piiiiickles) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Telstra I have mobile data… but it’s not enough to do what we can normally do. We rely on consistent service to be able to work at home. We had no warning. We are paying for both mobile and home internet, yet getting less than half the service. Outage map comes up negative for our area.

  • vitomattvm vito m (@vitomattvm) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Telstra Confusion over Telstra/Foxtel responsibility is an issue. When instructed to call Telstra by Foxtel, the T rep put me on hold “to look into it” & suddenly I found myself transferred to a F rep, more confused than I was. Why is this all so unnecessarily complicated?

  • vitomattvm vito m (@vitomattvm) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

Hey @Telstra @Foxtel the communication between the two of you & the ability to resolve an issue is awful. Upgrading a Foxtel box should not be this complicated. Into the 3rd hour now….

  • asteroidproject Damian Marley 🚀 (@asteroidproject) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

Did you know: If you’re with @Telstra and you have multiple mobile phones in your household, with contracts signed on different dates, you get direct debited for each service on different days? It’s confusing, inconvenient and dumb, and Telstra don’t care.

  • kyleminall Kyle Minall (@kyleminall) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Telstra Data was DEFINITELY not working for ~10 mins in Melbourne.

  • Troiboi troiboi 🤨 (@Troiboi) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

Anyone else got the new #AppleWatch and having no end of trouble trying to set cellular up? @Optus no help. @Telstra seemingly the same. Lots of threads talking about the issues. Why can they not solve? #apple #iPhone14ProMax

  • meholt not your real Dad (@meholt) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Brodhe A slightly different issue though. This was names and email of employees from 6 years ago. LinkedIn will tell you more about the people who work for Telstra. our emails aren’t exactly hard to figure out, they’re just our names and the domain.

  • Ch3wLim Chew (@Ch3wLim) reported

Hello @Telstra , when are you going to fix the internet in Rouse Hill (Telstra Velocity to Opticomm migration). I’ve been waiting for the connection to be running for 3-4 weeks. Every time I contacted your support, I’ve been promised it will be ready in 24 hours. But never ready

  • MMareeslatter Maree Slatter 💉4 (@MMareeslatter) reported

@SITC_CEO_Shanna @Telstra Welcome to regional Australia. We've had the telecommunications ombudsman on our case about 4 times. It's the only time we get service.

  • LaurenThemself Lauren (@LaurenThemself) reported

I'm currently with Optus for my mobile and would like to stick with a non-Telstra network for it, because our home internet is Telstra and my reasoning is that if the home net is down the phone net will be up and vice versa do not @ me with why this is faulty logic pls.

  • tassiedad Jason 💛🤍💜🖤 (@tassiedad) reported

    **** Telstra.

  • travelmonkee Carl Smith (@travelmonkee) reported

Phone rings: "Hello this is Carl" "Hello, this is Jessica," "Hi Jessica, how can I help?" "This is a call about your internet connection with Telstra." "Oh, when did Telstra take over my internet?" <silence> "Ok, have a good day..." Hangs up.

  • vIad_jerkov vlad jerkov (new account) (@vIad_jerkov) reported

@PNGflaver When Australia put in the electric highway signs, they were originally going to run data cable to each one, until someone said "why not just use a sim card and the existing telstra mobile network" So obvious when you use your brain for just a few more minutes.
