I bought 3 prepaid wifi dongles, each 3GB data, from @Telstra online store weeks ago, didn't get any tracking info. Last week received 3 prepaid phones each 50MB data. Not what I paid for! Couldn't get through to anyone on chat or phone. Wrote online complaint but no response.

Cancel @NBN_Australia install through @Telstra (a story in itself) using the app to continue to see out our contract on ADSL but continue to get calls to book another install time. Try calling to resolve and they won’t take my call despite an email telling me to call 😡

5 months since I got my new phone plan and Telstra still haven't been able to sort their shit at their end. FFS they couldn't be any worse these days. Useless as tits on a bull.

@Jeff_Sparrow Try once you've connected. - Not being able to contact the supplier (NBN) and the source of the issue directly. - Once you have lodged a ticket, being actively blocked from contacting support. @Telstra IVR: Your ticket is in progress, you receive updates through the App

Trumble (sic) you are the mug. A chancer who got lucky in the dial up Internet era & you thought you knew it all. The decaying ex Telstra infrastructure you you said would give us a quicker cheaper nbn is a slow moving disaster. It is inadequate & will cost billions to replace

@Telstra Hi Matthew, i got a Telstra text & my channels were blocked & F1040 on 26th. I finally got my service resumed on 27th but the bill is overcharging me $100s again. I have not heard from a manager up to now even though i asked for contact asap. My issues started Dec 12th.

@tomwoodau @negri_thomas @ClaytonTFord @Optus @NBN_Australia Our next-door neighbour has @Telstra an has had no issues. It’s interesting that the cable/wire issue doesn’t seem to be affecting all providers atm - just @Optus... absolutely poor customer service also

@negri_thomas @ClaytonTFord Likely to be just Optus' fixed backhaul, no reports of an issue with Telstra I can find, and Optus mobile data working. @Optus please provide more details of this significant outage! (ping @NBN_Australia)

Got one of those scam calls from “ @Telstra technical support” Honestly, for a scam attempt she was really rude. Tip: if you’re scamming me, be nice. I just kept talking off mic and being quieter and finished with a whistle. Not my best effort 2/10.

Who agrees? When companies fail to deliver a service they’re contracted to provide (here’s looking at you Telstra), we should be able to charge them for the time it takes us to get a solution. That might finally incentivise them to do the right thing in the first place.

@JonDeeOz @tilly64 @Telstra Painful. Just stop paying them. Not a new problem. Worked for me. Strangely, they cut over 'new phone' on expiry date of last. Yes. I was totally amazed.

@JonDeeOz @Telstra It took me three months to cancel my account with Telstra…after two years of trying to get a rural connection fixed….I ended up with cheaper, faster, unlimited service from hip young locals with a wireless tower. There aren’t words for Telstra.

@Asher_Wolf I thought FTTN was dead. Why not FTTC? In selected areas i think where predicted NBN speeds are bad enough, Telstra (at least) offers 5G fixed wireless.

@eveharrington Telstra will never call you for anything like that. If you want to be safe, when you get these calls, ask for a reference number and tell them you will call the registered help line yourself. If they are legit, they will comply, if not they'll hang up.

What about the next exploit? Optus counts about a third of Australians among its customer base, but when Telstra's popped that'll basically be everybody. Are any proactive defences being raised? /11
